BURNING ACES WING A'ye of Green Oyath HP: 20 Status Effect: None

FLYING SECOND WAVE Mid-Altitude
You're doing great, Oyath. Let me know if you get tired, or need anything. The greenrider knew it was pointless to ask, considering his dragon would never admit a weakness during actual flight, but he could feel her rumble of affection at his question. In response to his love and concern the green dipped quickly, destroying a massive clump of Thread with effortless ease.
They were off to a good start, and A'ye intended for them to have a good finish.
Round 3, Part 1: roll 1: You're so focused on flaming Thread that you miss a clump of thread blows up on the wind -- beneath you! If a green, or blue, you manage to jump Between ahead of it. Thankfully, your smaller size means you're able to avoid getting harmed! [+1 Between Accuracy] roll 2: A larger clump of Thread falls down hard and fast. Thankfully, your dragon is on top of it, and manages to hit the target with a large belch of flame just as it passes. [+1 Target Accuracy]
Even as Siloth returned from between, a sprawling sheet of silvery thread was blown toward him on the wind. Not today! the Bronze called, flaming it right out of the sky!

Ichta/Aurinkoth
ASHLINGS WING Ichta of Blue Aurinkoth HP: 14/18 Status Effect: -- XP: (Base Stat - +1 to everything)(+5 to distribute to whatever I want) Target Accuracy: +1 Flame Length: +3 General Stamina: +1 (+1 to apply at end of game) General Agility: +2 (+5 to apply at end of game) Between Accuracy: +2 Pain Resilience: +1 (+1 to apply at end of game) Instinct: +1 (+2 to apply at end of game) Luck: +2 (+1 to apply at the end of game)
You did good today, love. Let's get home and get you properly patched up, alright? Ichta urged. Aurinkoth offered her an enormous wave of affection as they were properly dismissed. Though perhaps inappropriate, the blue lingered for a moment, sending no words, but a large wave of...perhaps second-hand affection to Elzebuth on behalf of his Ichta.
He'd at least understand what it was for, and maybe they'd enjoy having that to run off of now that the two were going down.
With his task complete, Aurinkoth blinked between, emerging with so many others above High Reaches and beginning his slow descent down into the Weyrbowl where the second wave would soon be clearing out. He landed with a bit more weight than he meant to, half laying in the sand once his dearest was out of their straps and both feet were on the solid ground. She took a minute to assess him, looking over the scores and cuts on his body before pulling his head in close to touch her forehead to it.
I'm going to go get a healer now, dear. she said, then was off to do just that.
Aurinkoth...was ready for a nap. Plburrbrbrbrbrbbrb.
But of course, he couldn't send of dear Cynosuth without a cheery wave of reassurance. I'll be down here cheering you on!

E'mel/Brieteth
HARBINGERS WING E'mel of Blue Brieteth HP: 19/24 Status Effect: -- XP: (+2 to all base stats) (+5 to distribute as I see fit) Target Accuracy: +2 (+4 to apply at end of game!) Pain Resilience: +4 Instinct: +3 (+2 to apply at end of game!) Luck: +2
You heard him. Time to get back down on the ground and rest up, buddy. E'mel bid Brieteth cheerily. Brieteth warbled, taking a moment to reach out to Uridith before they blinked between. I take me and mine home unharmed another day, mother. I hope I have done enough!
E'mel reassured him that it was, but even once they were back in the sands of the Weyr, he seemed a little..well.....blue. His eyes whirled with uncertainty as he looked after younger siblings that would be going up soon, but also knowing their Wingleader had been well...struggling...a bit. They made him Wingleader for a reason, Brieteth. He'll come back. he shared optimistically.
Brieteth....was going to hope his E'mel was right, as he always was.

FINALLY!
Neiveth waited only long enough to send a mental parting-kiss to all of those in the wing who were going to be staying behind before she blinked away. For such a tired green, she seemed quite energetic as they made touchdown in the sand. G'lin wasn't even out of Neiveth's straps before she flopped over dramatically into the sand, kreeling for attention.
G'lin! Darling! Check my cuts and burns! Oh, tell me they won't leave a mark?
G'lin took two minutes to get out of the straps when stuck on his side, laughing when he was finally up to take a proper assessment of the damage. "You're looking good to me, dear. But I'll go find a healer to get them salved so they don't leave a mark, okay?"
He was awarded with a giant tidal wave of affection. Oh, she had chosen such a wonderful boy! For now...she was just gonna...sit here.

FLYING SECOND WAVE Mid-Altitude
Bank here. The formation was turning, and A'ye leaned a bit in his gear as he and Oyath followed. The turn went smooth, as did the flaming down of any Thread in their path, but a sudden rush of wind forced the green back and up.
There was sudden and sharp pain as the ended up in a cloud of ash, and the pair hissed against the sudden stinging. Oyath's mind roared at the sudden attack, though the lack of lingering ache let her know that both she and her rider had not encountered any live Thread and thus would survive with minimal damage. A'ye reached into her mind again with reassurance and affection, not to mention a well placed pat against her hide. We're okay. We're going to be okay, this isn't the worst we've ever seen.

[+1 Target Accuracy] roll 3: Flaming down Thread, you find yourself getting blown right into the cloud of ash! It stings and burns, but you're pretty sure no Thread was alive in the cloud. Loving the spirit, dearest, but we have a lot of time up here. Don't burn out like a candle.
Asuracath rankled at the very notion. No, hers was a fury that would last as long as any bronze's or brown's, and she would prove it. With Z'tir's speech ringing in their heads, they turned their heads up to scan for more Thread--and the white caught some on her knobs for their trouble. Without a second thought they hopped between, Efrideet wincing in sympathetic pain pangs as Hers shook it off with a snarl and hopped back.

Shaking off the annoyance of his bleeding tongue, Zetigeth turned his head to belch a flame towards the nearest strand of Thread and bucked suddenly, barrel rolling to the left with his wings tucked tight to his body. Wind caught the strand and blew it up higher than where the dragon had been positioned, a path that would have taken it straight into his rider's face if he'd allowed it to. D'ast sent a thankful thought to his brown as they pushed back towards their position once more.

Once the bleeding ichor had stopped spreading through his mouth, though it still hurt, the brown was beginning to feel just a bit more confidence. After all, what was the worst that could happen down in the lower wings? Usually they flew in the upper wing and had very little issue lasting an entire flight. Though his flame was shortened due to the damage in his mouth, Zetigeth was feeling a bit calmer after his earlier trauma. D'ast was working just as hard as he was, the two were finding a rhythm that fit them easily.
Just narrowly avoiding a clump of thread they hopped Between with a clear picture of the empty spot where they would reappear. However the winds were dangerous even in the lower altitudes and confidence always backfired when one least expected it. With a screaming shriek of pain, the pair appeared straight in the center of a cloud blown by the rough winds and shared pain ripped across both of them. Within an instant they hopped Between....

SAVE A FREN AVAILABLE
By Faranth! You and your dragon pull off a pretty awesome move to catch some Thread that's fallen through. You're able to save one of your Wingmates! Quote one of your Wingmates who took damage this Round! This will remove damage and any possible negative effect from that roll!
Fighting Thread herself was one of the few times Asuracath was actually quiet. The tense mood made even Efrideet hold back a joke or two as she leaned close and kept an eye on the skies above them. There! She indicated with an image, and without so much as a blink the white immediately adjusted course and burned through the Thread. Efri gave a small salute and smile in passing to the pair.
There! The sheet hung above them now, but they went between, escaping the brunt. However, even Siloth could not flame quite far enough to reach it from above.

[Low Altitude] [1/5]
"You heard the man - it's our turn!"
Alosha had climbed back into her straps after a bit of fussing here and there with them, but seemed satisfied. The pale green beneath her rumbled, stretching out her wings in unison with many of the others who would now be taking to the sky.
3...2... Blink
Now high in the sky above the Weyr, Phaedrath fell only a short distance before her wings caught the air, allowing her a full circle before she and Alosha were gone again. Now they were in the skies High Reaches Hold like their bretheren.
You know the way, Alosha said with a confidence only a long bonded pair like them would have, and the green moved to her position. She was ready.
With another blink between, Phaedrath landed right in front of an unpleasant clump of thread, flaming it without any issue before zipping off again. Beautiful!
QUEENS' WING Lestenna of Gold Uridith Round 3-1 6 – X – X – X – X X – X – X – X – X
