I'm not hacking for personal gain or anything like that. I'm hacking my way ON TO a laptop that's right infront of me, getting rid of it's passwords, and clearing everything off it it so It's just a windows install with nothing else. I'm doing it because someone gave it to one of my step dad's friends, and she wants to give it to her daughter for Christmas. I'm clearing out it's passwords and anything inappropriate for the little girl to see, then giving it to the lady so she can present it to her daughter on Christmas day.

@Blu - A real hacker doesn't go around and hack people's stuff to hurt though. They'll actually hack a server and a leave a message like "Update your protection" or "Too easy, change your password" so the owner of the webspace or computer will know that their computer is susceptible to attack. We're not monster or anything, we actually do a lot of work for the public good. All the hackers that attack and destroy information... Well, they're just idiots or script kiddies. Personally, I'd NEVER hack someone's bank or accounts anywhere to get their stuff. I'm not saying that I can, and I'm not saying that I can't, but either way, I wouldn't do it, because I think that's just a dumb thing to risk getting arrested over.
