The greens and blues were changing, and Cordrath felt a small twinge of...concern? The air felt so open in the time they were gone, almost as if anything could happen. M'nr patted his neck comfortingly, trying to soothe the nerves that his bonded felt.
But he couldn't help the feeling either. Was it second hand or-
M'nr!
The bronze suddenly twisted and M'nr was barely able to make out why his dragon had done such a maneuver except through their bond - a clump of thread had drawn too close to the man, and the dragon had taken it upon himself. Only for his efforts to twist with such a large body, he'd been struck in the face.
M'nr cleared his head of all but one image as the two blinked between, then out again above the Weyr. Cordrath's landing was not gentle, but he kept his mind calm as M'nr climbed from the straps to retrieve a healer to look at the damage. He wasn't allowed to let out any mental wave of alarm - there were precious little ones so close he could practically feel them....
and for his children, they would only get mental nudges of warmth and affection. None of his panic...none of his fear.

Ohohoho ho, no! He was NOT about to let that triple-clump-express get away so easily! Gallybaby we gotta GO! He mentally urged the blue, who gave a faint warble of Are you sure? Well...okay...! before zipping after it, letting E'dan guide his shots and send the thread down in flames.

When Z'tir and Siloth had disappeared between Dr'stan had kept an open eye out for then they would return. As the moments passed on, he had begun to worry but Ddraigth pushed back, reassuring his rider that they would be fine. This was Z'tir and Siloth they were talking about after all.
The pair reappeared soon after and the man let out a sigh of relief, though he quickly composed himself.
While Dr'stan was busy looking over the rest of his Wing, Ddraigth suddenly rolled, moving in a spiral through the air. The man held himself close to his dragon, glancing back at the Thread that had nearly missed him. Thank goodness for his dragon's quick reflexes.

If your dragon isn't suffering, you are allowed to quote a fellow wingmate (must be in your same wing) who is suffering the effect! Your dragon trumpets at them encouragingly, making them feel better, and giving them a renewed burst of energy and effort. Remove Fatigue Effect from one wingmate!
Asuracath pulled a tight maneuver that nearly ripped Efrideet off, so white-knuckled as she was. Still, her wingbeats continued in a steady fashion, catching this thermal or that.

Despite the momentary fatigue Tarenoth beat his wings a few good pumps and returned to formation without any issue. No harm no foul.

Hello! Cynosuth called to Kindeth, popping out of between with a lazy twirl. The thread was all around her, but for once... she wasn't afraid. Maybe it was what her mother had said, or maybe it was that everyone was here with her. All of her dear family, and friends.
How is your eye doing? Did you keep your stitches from popping? she asked, prompted by Dr'stan, who guided his little Green to through the formation.

Somehow thread broke through from the higher ranks and the silvery strands ripped through them with ease, despite blinking between it still stung a great deal.

They had been beginning to pull from formation because of the wind. Phaedrath, Alosha nudged the green and she flapped her wings twice to pull herself back into her place.
