More guild-wide activities would be a great thing, but they'd need funding. Lots of funding, which could mean anything from a fund-raiser amongst the wealthy regulars or, my personal favorite, charging people for capitalization mistakes. >3.
Or, to be serious, we could sell merchandise. If anybody has the resource to make ATG t-shirts, (Paint bleach on black shirts, for an example) I'm sure you'd get enough orders here to fund a contest or seven by purchasing donation items with the profits.
But I digress. I don't think the guild is in need of major 'repair', it's just losing momentum as a lot of old regs grow up and move on. And that's not a bad thing, necessarily, because more people will come. It's up to Gaia as a whole as to whether or not the majority of those people will add to the guild or take away from it.

There's a place down the street from me that makes custom T-shirts. We just need a decent design.

Thaliat Everwood There's a place down the street from me that makes custom T-shirts. We just need a decent design. I'd think Slim would be just the person for that sort of thing. The ATG logo she made for the guild wiki would function nicely. Or maybe one of the banners.
And, there's also lots of low-budget means to create custom T-shirts at home. The bleach on a black t-shirt is just one method. I know my art teacher just did a project like that with some of the kids last week, I could easily ask her about the materials she used.

ATG Spooky Story Contest was won by aretoo, ATG Ahh! Real Monsters! Contest was won by me, & ATG Bootiful Art Contest was won by Sarusama. I know I got my prize money, and I am 100% the others got their prize money as well.

We members can do that by posting more threads that actually have some degree of interest in real events or social concerns...I know the guild used to have a lot of socially relevant threads a while back.

I created a poll to have ATG member feedback on one of the issues that was brought up recently.
Please vote honestly.
You can only vote yes or no, actually I'll add a third option too.

I voted yes on the poll, and I'd just like to explain why I said that. biggrin
I'd much prefer it if IDD threads had their own sub-forum, because then it means that those people that like to debate everything everyone else says will have somewhere to go where that won't start huge arguments. Currently, It causes arguments, because some people, myself included, don't wish to have everything they say questioned and probed.

Interesting point... A place to let off a little debate steam. =3

Debate is fun...only so long as it isn't problematic by upsetting posters who were not prepared to be debated. I agree that IDD should have a subforum. Then those of us who enjoy a bit of debating don't have to worry about debating people who get upset by it....and we can all peacefully coexist. biggrin

Kals is questing again!I was considering voting against it, because I kind of like things the way they are, but I did consider how some people seem to enjoy treating every single casual discussion as a classical debate with sides and winners and losers and are very aggressive about it, and I get really aggravated when that happens. So yeah. Those people should have their own place for debates and leave the main forum for normal discussions. There is a difference. Check sig for details!
