Now, who says we don't have some sort of fairy tale beginning? I mean after all, love at first sight is rare. And I've told you countless times, it'd have to be one really special girl to make me do something insane, like drive 578 miles.
And every day, I don't regret it. When I first saw you, and that first hug we had, I was already yours. After having you in my arms for those fleeting hours, as I was driving away all I could think about was how hard it was to not turn back, and lose myself.
Out of all the people I know, you get me the best. My friends know me as one person, my co-workers another, and my family knows me as still another person. With you, I feel like I don't need to hide certain aspects of myself...you know me as a whole, not as the person that does this, or the person who's good at that. It's simple, I'm yours.
It's always a bit corny sounding in my head, but I figure I'll type it out anyway; You make me smile, seeing that morning text on my phone at 4am, waiting for me to get home from work at night before you head to bed, letting me know how you're doing at various parts of the day. I'm glad I'm able to have those moments with you.
It's odd how this has begun to affect me at work too...my boss commented on my cutting earlier, saying it's improved a lot ( I'm still an apprentice after all ), and the one thing that draws people towards certain pieces of meat, aside from being hungry, is how it's cut, and the pride the butcher puts in his cutting. I never really understood that part, but now I'm counting down the days until I get to hold you again, and for some reason it all makes sense now.
But, I think that's enough mushyness from me for one night, it's not very becoming of me...
But if/when you see this in the morning, I love you Ashley.

I blame being tired; you had me tearing up and I almost had salt water in my cereal. whee I, myself, can't wait to see you again. I want to hold you for a while before you have to come into the house; I want to hear you tell me how much you love and rub my back.

Slim95 I can't talk about him much to other people.... ._. Not till now...... The only person who I really spoke about him to was Omo, and sometimes I worry I've driven her flippin' mad with all the fawning I do over him to her. ...Just to be clear: Never!
