Star gave a shrug as she pretended to be unaware,"So, Salem...have you decided yet?" She says, switching subjects on purpose. She gave a long yawn before speaking, however, as it would seem her cat form was easily tired after such a great fall. She licked at her leg, out of instinct, as she awaited Salem's reply. Being a small cat, she didn't concern herself to how Salem was carrying her; she thought it wouldn't matter seeing she was very light to begin with.

There Was A crash downstairs in Camille's home as the front door and the fame around it were smashed inward. Through the gaping hole A young man walked, "You Owe Me a free Dinner you Pathetic disobediant dog!! You're Proper place is at my beckon and call, You stupid ungrateful miserable excuse for a Vampire. You Branch family scum!" Sparked Roared up at Ren as he started for the stairs.

Hunger. It ravaged Ren's body like he was on fire, spreading through his veins and throughout his being. But with what Camille's gentle touch, the places where her fingers grazed his skin left a cool feeling, tingling still on his skin. He nuzzled into her neck, finding simple pleasure in being near her. But no, he wouldn't dare bite Camille. Though enticing was the idea, Camille was very...close to him and someone whom he didn't want to get into the habit of drinking. He cherished her deeply, enough to where he didn't want to taint her lovely body for feeding purposes. No, Camille, to him, was too precious for that. She patted his head, coming her fingers through his hair as she cradled him. She knew very well that he'd have to leave, possibly to feed. She knew that he disliked the idea of biting her despite how painful it was to keep himself starved. Oh, how many times she begged him to just bite her and drink so that he wouldn't have to suffer. Oh, how many times he refused. It troubled Camille to think even now he was forcing himself to restrain.
The sound of the wood splitting of the door, the hinges being torn off the door frame, and the sound of a voice downstairs made Ren hop out of bed. That voice! It was yelling now, about something, and seemed to be climbing already up the stairs. "Ren!" Camille too was startled, not knowing what was happening. "Who is that?" She asked, nervously and worriedly. Ren tore his gaze from hers, pained to see her like that. Just who did this guy think he was?!
Ren dressed himself, as much as he could, and sprinted down the hall to meet a man at the end of the stairs. He was a stranger but the voice sounded familiar. From that beast. Ren was clearly confused but see as how this guy broke in and came in roaring, Ren quickly reacted by darting down the stairs and rushing the guy into the wall. "Who the f*** do you think you are?! How did you get in here?!" Ren's anger flared. His temper came before reason.

"How Dare you Touch me without my Permission to insolent scum!!!" Sparks Shouted, "I'm Your lord and Master, The one who decided to spare your life when all others in the main house wished your death. Show some proper respect you filthy sorry little piece of trash!!!" And then Sparks' eyes began to glow. "I Knew I should have killed you the instant you were born you human blood mongrel." Then Sparks grabbed Ren's arms and forced them away with relatively little effort. "Kneel before your lord you worthless filth."

[ haha, I don't know why fighting with Sparks is so funny to me. ]
Ren grit his teeth, his dark blue eyes brimming with hatred, anger, and above all, murder. Ren was hungry, ready to spill blood and the audacity of this guy to come in here was beyond his head. But the button clicked.
It suprised Ren at first, who momentarilly stood frozen as he was pushed aside. He would've never thought he would see any of his relatives in his life time for their numbers had run down over the years. The branch that this guy had mentioned, Ren's own part of the family, had already died out, leaving Ren the last of his brethren. Ren himself didn't know too much about the main family. All he knew was that their ability to transform into the ancient beast was existant, which explained the familiar voice and the beast that night, and that they disliked the idea of mixing with humans. This guy was of the main house, much more pure blooded and much more rare than Ren, who's own family decided to try to assimilate into human society and muddy their blood. Ren knew it was the truth, that because of his family branch and because they decided to mix with humans, he was always treated like the lower animal. But to hear this guy say it out of his mouth, to bequeath him and insult him like this, here of all places, raged Ren. "Try speaking to me without such arrogance! You speak with your nose up to high, you pompous fool," he snarled and then lunged for Sparks, throwing him across the room. "You dare speak to me like that? Just because you're from the main family doesn't mean you can speak to me with your head in your a**!" He entered the living room, where he had just thrown this guy. He then bared his teeth, his eyes now glowing and the hunger ravaging his body.
"Ren!" Camille, finally, came downstairs, a look of horror and worry for the commotion, hearing the yelling and the hitting. She was dressed messily in pajamas, peeking behind the wall to see what was wrong only to wince at Ren's rising voice. There was definately anger in the room, that she could feel, but a sort of heavy miasma. Camille looked to the dark figure, that of a man with glowing eyes. Frightened, Camille reclined. The aura from that man...It was powerful, different than Ren's. She couldn't understand what the two were arguing about but one thing was clear, that man was definately not human. She hesitated but stepped forward, thinking it'd be best to calm down the situation until Ren again lunged for Sparks. Camille screamed Ren's name but he couldn't hear it over the sound of blind rage beating through his heart.

"Show Some respect or you are on the Menu!" And then sparks pinned Ren to a wall and said, "Learn your place and not only will you live, but so will this entire city. I kill 2 or three people a every 5 months, starving myself to keep the food supply from revolting. If you continue to be so insolent, You will draw the attention of my father, and he will come in and wipe out the town in a single night, draining everyone dry." "I have every right to insult you, your behavior is nothing less than uncivilized. Iv you had merely obeyed I could have vouched for you again if my father decides to destroy this town anyway. Get it through your head Ren, the more you fight back, the more lives you put at risk!"

Ren bit back the bitter insults, feeling beat, and didn't dare to look into Sparks' face. He knew what Sparks said was the utter truth. The main family was not to be messed with. And if Ren wanted to protect this town, especially Camille, he was right to know his place. But simply, Ren couldn't hold back his words. "Who's the dog now? Coward, running behind your father. If you don't like how I talk, why don't you just kill me and not hundreds of innocent people? Are you really that murderous? And if you don't like how I talk, why come barging in here? You have no right to come here, talking to me about my place and rights and such. Fix that tongue of yours and I'll fix mine," he stated, firm in his position. Sure, he was sort of scared, partly for himself and for Camille, who stood in the hall way, and was sort of intimidated but who was Ren if he wasn't stubborn? Ren pushed Sparks off him and took a couple steps away, running a hand through his hair before turning to look back at Sparks. The two didn't look related in the least. He held a frown, a feeling of disgust. His throat burned. He needed a drink. Camille held a hand to her chest, worried, and was about to start crying if it weren't for the fact that Ren stopped yelling and it seemed the fight was momentarilly stalled. She gave a soft whimper, looking at the mess of the loft. The walls were cracked and papers that were on the table were scattered all over the floor. The door itself was sad looking. She looked at it and all its gaping hole glory. "You broke my door..." She murmured, almost whispered. She didn't dare creep forward, for fear that the two would get into another physical fight.

"Hiding behind? No. Hiding from. Hell yes. My father is over 3000 years old and his ancestral form is five times the size of mine. Imagine standing in that shadow as it's owner looks at you like a hungry wolf stares at a deer. You'll have some idea of what it's like to be the 89th son of the head of the Livingston family clan. my father looks at his younger children as meals waiting to be prepared. If he comes here, I die too." Then Sparks sighed and pulled out an envelope and handed it to Ren. "You should read this, You're parents would have wanted you to do so."
The envelope contained The will left behind by ren's parents, and in it listed everything that was to be left to ren, as well as a full page letter telling him to seek out A Man named Sparks Livingston, His godfather.
"By the way, My Name is Sparks Livingston. And I have a feeling you and I will be seeing one another alot more often."

Ren snatched the envelope from the man, prepared to rip the thing if he didn't recognize his father's handwriting. Ren ripped open the envelope and took out the sheet of paper, scanning the sheet. Ren gaped. Still, however, Ren felt utter denial. "This...can't be..." He read further. Everything his parent's left him. He could remember the day he left his home when his parent's died. he took all the money that was in the house and left, not minding to take anything else with him. And here was a secret fortune and anything they left behind that might've been of some value. And there was a name of a man as well. Ren looked up, shocked to see that very man standing before him. Ren stared at Sparks for a long time before shaking his head. "That's...a lie. My father married a human. Why would he include someone from the main family, who hates half-bloods and any vampire that mixes with humans, in his will?" He crumpled the paper but did rip it or throw it away but simply kept it in his fist. His temper was fading but he was still angry...and confused. And even if you were included, I've never heard of you. Who are you?" Ren was cautious, prepared to fend against Sparks if he should pounce on him.
Camille didn't know what to do but simply stand there and watch. She hid behind the wall, peeking out to make sure the two didn't fight again. She was scared, scared of this dangerous man and scared of what might happen to Ren. Clearly this man was related to Ren. Someone very important, it seemed. Ren didn't trust him. But why would the man lie then? What motives would he have had? Camille watched silently, ever waiting until it was safest to come out.

"Your father was a reclusive writer. I at the time Owned a small publishing company and I made sure his works were seen by the eyes of those that would be interested, I made him a lot of money. I played chess with him every third tuesday and I occasionally sent freshly and properly prepared blood based meals to his wife and son that could be consumed without upsetting the stomach. I sent you new clothes around the holidays, and I also helped build their home. After you parents were killed you left without searching for the will. A will that I have now delivered without ever reading. I know most of it's contents because I helped write it. I talked with your mother as she wrote the part that tell you to seek me out. I was already legally your godfather at the time of the writing of the will, but I dared not interfere with your life. You'll be happy to know I saved many of your parent's belongings after you left."

"Tch." Ren ran a hand through his messy bluish hair, filled with disbelief, suprise, and irritance. He sat down on the couch, leaning his head back, his hand still clenching the crumpled will. His father, yes, was a writer and had a hard time on his works. He could faintly remember how his father was always out and about, never one to really stay at home. Times spend alone with his mother were common but his father always made sure he sent money home. Ren never thought of it then, of how he made the money he did but what Sparks said made so much sense. It fit together so perfectly.
He opened his eyes, tilting his head to glance at Sparks, who looked, well, not as old as he looked. His first impression of him was intimidation and fear, when he first met the beast, but then a sort of dislike. And meeting him in person, both confusion and anger and other such tiresome feelings were felt towards him. "Godfather, huh..." He gave a sigh, trying not to look so suprised. Why was he never mentioned when his parents were alive? "Well, if you didn't want to interfere in my life, why do so now?" He emphasized the now, being that he was with Camille currently.
Camille, who hid behind the corner finally revealed herself, hesitant in moving forward but came into the living room. She looked at Sparks. So this man was not an enemy...That idea soothed Camille if only a little. She silently went to the kitchen, putting on a pot of water to make tea with for her unexpected guest. She shivered, covering her arms, since the door was broken now, and was but a gaping hole that let the night air creep in. She quickly made some tea. She would've liked to make some nicer tea but she had ran out of it earlier and so made some black tea and a sprinkle of sugar. She placed two mugs on the coffee table, for either to drink before making her own, putting much more sugar and a touch of milk in hers before sipping.

"The Reason Is simple Young Ren. You Interfered with mine. If you hadn't interrupted my hunt The chances are I would never have bothered you, and you wouldn't have met me until the date I had panned. Your 200th birthday is when I had originally planned on introducing myself, but as we both know, you interrupted my dinner three times tonight. Know that if you don't supply me with a free blood dinner to allow me to keep my metabolism at bay, I will return to the habits I had before you were born. I'll hunt and feed nightly, not once every five months. There are more than enough homeless in this city to feed my metabolism for a year or so. And Before your girlfriend even thinks about offering her neck, she should know one very important fact. The main branch of the livingston clan, we don't have the venom that makes humans into vampires. We make more of our line through marriages to lesser vampire clans. And even then, only the children who have the ability to take on the ancestral form are allowed into the main house. If we bit a human while in our human form, it is because we intend to eat them. We don't just drink the blood of humans, we eat them. It is why we despise those who have human blood in their heritage. Can you imagine the shame we feel at the very notion of someone like you existing? We do not hate you and those like you personally, but your very existence brings us shame that only the ancient samurai of Japan could even fathom. You see, to us, humans are just cattle waiting for the slaughter, and so to breed with humans is a thought that disgusts us."
"Just as we purebloods disgust you with our behavior towards you, you disgust us by existing."
Then Sparks looked at the tea and picked up a mug to slowly sip quietly. He looked at the massive hole he'd put in the front of the building and said, "I'm sorry for that. I can pay for the damages, but it'll take months to fix that...I run a boarding house in the oldest part of town. You're both welcome to come and stay, but I warn you, the rent isn't cheap. Fifty Five dollars a month room and board, but you are required to pay out of your own pockets for any and all damages you cause. You are also expected to treat things the way you should, and rooms will be inspected for cleanliness daily. If you want a specific meal, you have to prepare enough of it for everyone in the boarding house."
Then he set down the now empty mug of tea and said "Thankyou for the tea." He turned to Ren and said, "By the way, You might just want to take me up on this offer. I have a room furnished with your parents belongings, including some books your father wrote. I'll be expecting an answer from you tomorrow." Then he headed toward the gaping whole in the front of the building and turned back to say, "And Ren, Try not to forget, bring me a Blood meal, and I'll stick to my once every five months routine. A gallon's worth of deer blood mixed with a pound of shredded bacon should be enough. It would have a high enough fat and protien content to keep my metabolism in check. But anything you think you can get away with is fine. I'll be waiting..." then he stepped out the hole and in the street transformed into the ancestral form and took flight before heading back to the boarding house.

( Was stalling for Spectrum to post *pokes*)
Star saw her displeasure in the change of subject, and to which felt a bit guilty. She meowed at Salem sweetly, trying to use her form as an advantage. " I can change back to human, ya know...we still have time for another game. " She said to her, trying to make up for it. " Let's not go home just yet, we are, after all, beings of the night. The moon is full, surely you feel up to bursting with energy." She adds, jumping out of Salem's arms and was floating in front of her. "To go home when so many other creatures of the night are out is really a waste..." She purred, increasing her movements to match that of a cute kitten, floating bedside Salem's head as she nuzzled into her hair. Star acting like a little spoiled girl, when she and the witch both knew her age surpassed the mere term girl.
