"Honey." With a sigh, Lucy grabbed her friend by the front of her shirt and dragged her into a clothing store that knew her, grabbed a few shirts at random and then took Pumpkin into a dressing room and said, "I'm going to kiss you, okay? I want you to kiss me like you're going to be kissing one of your guys eventually. We need to practice, dear." Then Lucy kissed her friend.

"W-w-wait! I..uhm...please don't..." Pumpkin, to be honest, looked somewhat uncomfortable with the idea. "I'm sorry, but...I really don't feel comfortable with this. I want to save my first real kiss for someone I like in that way..." But before she could continue, she was kissed. Pumpkin panicked, and promptly pushed Lucy away. "I said no!"

Meanwhile, at the local art museum, Lucien was busy directing people around in an empty gallery as they carried various pieces of art and stands for the different pieces. A sneeze came on and he quickly pulled a handkerchief from his pocket, turning his head away from the artist he'd been talking to and whose exhibit he was assisting in getting set up. "Ah, forgive me...I can't imagine what brought that on. I know the janitors have been busy keeping the place spotless for you...Someone must be talking about me." he said tucking his handkerchief away before continuing his work.

"This isn't a real kiss," Lucy said firmly. "Okay? You're like my sister. This is, like, just a sister-kiss. Just practice, Pumpkin." She sighed and muttered, "But if you want to be such a prude, I guess we won't. I was just trying to help, Pumpkin."

The irony in that statement was baffeling. Pumpkin dared not voice such thoughts. Instead, she meekly replied, "I appreciate the help, I truly do. I just...would feel more comfortable with a less 'hands on' approach. Thank you for the effort." After a couple moments passed, she asked, "So..what time are we supposed to head to the magic show, again?" Perhaps, if she were lucky, she'd be able to eventually locate and stop by the museum afterwards. Assuming Lucien was still there, of course.

Sighing, Lucy checked her invisible watch and muttered, "We should probably start heading there now so you can get changed. I'm in my proper attire, but you aren't. So we're going to have to fix that." She grabbed her friend's hand and led her back out, and towards the party. Once there, she grabbed the assistant outfit and handed it to her friend. "Put that on," she ordered. It was a simple outfit, a green shirt and pink jeans, both very sparkly. Then she started setting up all the things she'd brought over the night before.

"....Alright....Yes, I can stay late to accept them once they get here....Good bye." Lucien hung up his phone with a sigh. It seemed the delivery truck with the assorted merchandise and prints with the new work had been delayed due to the bad weather. "This day has not been turning out as well as I'd hoped..." he said with a sigh as he slipped his phone back in his pocket.

Pumpkin quickly did as told, letting her thoughts wander for a little while. At first, she began thinking of the children they would be entertaining. She was a little excited to see the look of wonder shared on their faces as Lucy did her preformance. Already she had pushed the previously awkward situation from her mind.

Lucy murmured her instructions to Pumpkin as the little kids started filing in, looking bored. "Just hand me things when I tell you." She pointed and named all of the objects quickly, before turning to the kids. "Hello!" she said cheerfully. "My name is the Illustrious Lucy, and I am here to amaze you! For my first trick, I'll pull a rabbit out of my hat." She pulled her hat off her head and pulled out a rubber chicken. "That's not right," she said, feigning confusion. "Hold on a moment." She then pulled out a stuffed turkey, a peacock feather, a banana, and a really long scarf. "Something's fishy here," she said with a frown. "Hold on. You try." She held out the hat to a little girl, who reached in and, with a squeal, pulled out a bunny that settled into her arms. "Now, let me introduce my amazing assistant, Jackie O'Lantern! Please hold out your arms." She grabbed Lucy's hand and then rolled up her sleeves. Then she reached into Pumpkin's sleeve and pulled out a dove that she released, to the amazement of all the kids. * * * * * * The whole show went much like that. When she was getting her stuff into its cases, assuring a little girl that she could keep the bunny if her parents said it was okay, she grinned at Pumpkin and said, "That went well."

Pumpkin's lips were locked into an ever so wide grin, pleased that things were such a success. She always loved it when children showed that look of wonder, or even just when they held such pleasant little smiles. "It certainly did~" she agreed with Lucy, absolutely chipper for the moment being. "I might have to ask you to preform for my class sometime."

"Only if you're my assistant." Lucy grinned at Pumpkin. "You did really good, honey. Better than I thought you would, to be honest. Most of my assistants have the background in magic-assisting, you know. You're a natural. You should become my official assistant."

"A natural? Well, that I can't refute. Thank you~" Pumpkin replied with a giggle. Perhaps magic, even illusionist's parlour tricks such as this, came naturally to all witches? "I'll be glad to be your assistant. Just remember that I'm a teacher, though, so I can't really afford to participate in some of the...lewder showings."

"You know I don't like doing that sort of thing. If that was what you had in mind, you should know by now that there's no point in asking me." Pumpkin replied with a small frown, feigning hurt at the fact that Lucy had such ulterior motives.

"I know you don't have the guts for a night of debauchery," Lucy said, patting her friend's back. "I wouldn't ever ask you to do one of those shows, honey."
