Mini RP - Kanto Badge Run (Reno)

Sparks felt the squeeze around his body again, along with the dragging feeling that was sending him towards the edge of the platform again. Praying this would work, he pointed a clawed hand at the Golduck, firing another Thunderbolt. Hopefully it would save him from a watery demise.

What happened next was a monstrous explosion of electricity from the Elekid as it fully submerged, the look of it resembling a toaster in the tub. A few of the sparks coalesced enough to form a Thundershock to fire in the Golduck's direction before the light show finally ended to reveal the floating body of Sparks. Calling him back, Reno awaited the results of this shot in the dark.

Reno juggled a trio of Pokeballs into the air, a smirk on his face. at least, until one of the balls smacked against the floor and opened itself, revealing Phemes in her floating metal glory. Floating over next to the Lapras, Phemes gave the Pokemon a look over before testing the waters, firing off a blast of Confusion to try and disorient the large sea beast.

Phemes took the blast of light square int eh eyes, backing up a few feet in surprise. Shaking her head and still seeing double, she decided to up the ante and fired off a Psychic attack, raising the platforms in the water and firing them at the Lapras.

Phemes looked to the advancing ice storm, looking at all her options before deciding that this was an attack to avoid. Using Agility to get away from the body of the attack, Phemes was smashed by the flying platforms, but avoided the heavier damage that the Sheer Cold would have caused, even with the advantage Phemes had. "Phemes, 'Ammer Arm!!" Reno shouted, pointing to the large Transport Pokemon they were fighting. Phemes charged forward, sacrificing the speed boost Agility had given her to empower the Hammer Arm. She swung at the Lapras, hoping this attack would do what it says in the name and hammer Lapras.

Phemes would slowly begin to lower into the swirling whirlpool, before being sent flying by the moving water. Rolling around in the water and feeling the pain of the water, Phemes aimed towards the Lapras with a shakily aimed Confusion blast and fired towards the Pokemon.

Phemes would feel the ice blast ravage her body, unable to prevent the damage. Finally feeling a reprieve from the devastating pain, she would float shakily above the water, one eye shut and one arm frozen solid. "What's next Misty? Is there anything ta fight 'ere?" Reno would exclaim, a smile on his face.

(Sorry for lack of writing here. Been kind of very distracted lately.)

"There is plenty to fight." Misty said as she recalled her Lapras, stowing the ball away in her bikini. "This next one will destroy you, this I promise." The gym leader said as she tossed the pokeball into the air. "Misty calls...Starmie!" She declared, the ball hitting the now frozen pool, releasing the star Pokemon, Starmie, rotating around in place on the ice. "Starmie, use Thunderbolt!" She cried out, the Pokemon responding by increasing its spinning rapidly until its body crackled with electricity, the Water type unleashing a quick bolt of electricity at Phemes.

Phemes would charge forward, intent on only one goal. She had been damaged to the point of almost being gone and now she was going to do some last damage before she went out. Feeling the Thunderbolt, she would begin to fall out of the air into unconsciousness. Before she would be consumed by the darkness, her body would ignite in a white light before the Explosion attack would blanket the area in smoke.
