Patrick Lockheart ~ Diviner Classroom ~
Having his head shielded by his arms, Rick had barely heard Lelyna's steps as she made her way ever so carefully to her place at her desk. Upon hearing her voice, he would awake from his sleepless dozing and sit upright, stretching as Branwen shook out her feathers before hopping to the edge of the desk. From here, the White Raven would flutter across the classroom to where the girl had taken a seat, hopping closer before seeking out a hand to brush against. "Pretty Girl." she practically chirped,
"Ah, good morning, Lelyna," Rick shot her a grin and a wave, "Sorry about that, I'm quite well, but I seemed to have nodded off there a little, else I'd have accompanied you to your seat," he looked between where she now sat and the door, half expecting to see Kael taking his exit, but was more than surprised to see he had not, "Kael's getting quick, I didn't even see him,"
"All alone," Branwen had been snuggled between Rick's arms as she entered, but the Raven had kept herself alert, watching all that moved and noting that the female had entered all by herself,
"Alone?" Rick was confused, then looked towards Lelyna again as the only thing she could have done finally sunk into his mind, "Wait, you made it here all by yourself?" knowing her sight was an issue when it came to moving around he was happy for her, it must have felt like quite an achievement, "Well, good for you! You must be feeling quite fantastic! I know I would be!" although she wouldn't be able to see it, his grin was wide, knowing it was always great to applaud another's achievements - especially those who had quite stepped out of their perhaps comfort zone to carry it out.

╔═══════════════════ Lelyna heard Branwen flying toward her before she felt the raven land on her desk and cuddle close to her hand. Smiling down at the bird, she reached out to gently caress Branwen’s feathers with her fingertips. “And you are a pretty bird, Branwen.” Lelyna said with a smile. Hearing Patrick’s sleepy words, she smiled yet again. She hadn’t meant to disturb his dozing, then again, she hadn’t realized that he’d been dozing to begin with.
At Patrick’s comment, she shook her head a little bit. Patrick seemed to think that Mikhail had already come and gone. This was a safe assumption, since Mikhail usually escorted her to class, or Kayl, who usually sat beside her. But Branwen was quick to correct Patrick with a choice word.
Patrick’s confused tone made Lelyna chuckle a little bit. He soon figured out what his lovely raven meant and congratulated her on her achievement. She was glad to know that someone else realized the effort it took for her to get from place to place on her own. Lelyna didn't know if she would make a habit of coming to class on her own, but knowing she could do it certainly boosted her confidence and made her want to try.
“Thank you, Patrick…I’m pretty proud of myself.” Petting Branwen, she smiled happily, feeling very good about the morning so far. “I was surprised I arrived early as well…” Students would begin to arrive shortly, she was sure, but in the meantime, she was glad to just enjoy Patrick’s company. “If you like, the seat next to me is free.” Lelyna found that Patrick was someone that she got along with very well and wanted to be friends with. He was always very warm and friendly towards her to begin with, so she felt it might be nice to encourage that friendship with an invitation to sit next to her.

Patrick Lockheart ~ Diviner Classroom ~
"It's definitely an achievement," Rick beamed, realising after he'd said mentioned Kael escorting her, that it was actually Mikhail who usually accompanied Lelyna to her class - but she didn't seem to mind and smiled as she agreed that she was quite proud of herself.
When offered the opportunity to take the seat beside her, Rick was initially curious, tilting his head as though unsure if it was truly allowed - their classmates always seemed to be well scattered with a rare few actually sitting together, "Are you sure?" he would wait for her confirmation before nodding with a smile, "Sure, alright," It wouldn't take him long to pack up the few belongings he'd brought with him and carefully make his way over to the seat beside her, "I must admit, with Branwen over there, it was starting to get a little lonely in this corner," he joked, watching as the White Raven lifted her head - her attention seemingly drawn to another who had entered the room as he was making the change of seating.
Brushing her head against Lelyna's hand - perhaps as a way of letting her know she was leaving for the moment, Branwen hopped to the edge of the desk, watching as the new female hurried somewhat anxiously to her seat close to the door before taking wing.
Unlike Gannon's Owl Brageet, Branwen's flight wasn't as stealthily silent, in fact the fluttering of feathers might just have startled the female if she was unsuspecting the Raven to make her approach. Still, Branwen came to land on the edge of Fiona's desk, tilting her white head and regarding the female curiously, "Hello?" Her voice as always was somewhat croaky, but reasonably well understood as over the years she had spent growing up with Rick, she had learnt to mimic a variety of words and comments.

"Yes, yes, dear Fioana. The Diviner classroom is, in hopes, a lovely place to face your fears and expand your horizon." Elohari entered through the doors, feet moving swiftly down the steps, glancing over just who was present. She began to peel off her coat in the process, glancing over to the shy lady in the corner. "I believe we are an understanding bunch.... I see no quirls here." Elohari smiled sweetly at the classroom, sending a reassuring glance back toward Fiona.
Placing her cloak against a stand, just short of her podium, Elohari would turn to the classroom. They would all note her blood red, abounding dress. It was wildly different than typical. She typically was adorned with decorated gowns, of her home country. Most were a bit denuded, bare in some cases. But with winter much colder here than her home, her dresses were many layers of thin fabrics. Often long sleeved, or cuffed, tight all the way to her hips before flaring out. A tad different than a typical dress she wore here. The dress was decked with red ribbons along the front, capped at her elbow only to flair out. Elohari's hair was done her typical way, many braids linked together with greens and plantlike stuck between a few here and there. Elohari's hair was extremely long, meaning braiding seemed the only option to prevent her hair from dragging the floor. Perhaps she could cut it...
"Ahhh, so." Elohari clapped her hands together beautifully so, peaking around the classroom. "How has everyone days fared them? I spent all yesterday with a creature known as a fae. Surprising no? Do you believe I saw it, or was I insane?" Elohari smirked a bit, a light laugh fairing out her pinked lips. "And what of this gala? Will any be attending? Perhaps any... together?" Elohari inquired with an arched brow.

Patrick Lockheart ~ Diviner Classroom ~
"Branwen Talks." The White Raven bowed her head, allowing Fiona to touch, "Just Limited." this was true, where Gannon's Owl seemed to be able to formulate practically perfect sentences, unless it was mocking, Branwen's words were a mixture of phrases she had picked up, or short replies like the one she had used to answer the female now.
Before Rick had taken to his new seat, Elohari mentioned about spending the day with a Fae. The Diviner's eyes lit up at her words and he turned, looking somewhat shocked, but not disbelieving,"Oh! You're far from insane, they're certainly real!" he sounded quite excited and had spoken without considering what others may think of him in return, "I used to play with them as a child, so I wouldn't doubt your words for a sec--ond..." he paused, suddenly realising what he was saying before falling silent... It had been perhaps the excitement at being invited to another seat that had caused him to forget his need to keep his ability a secret and speak out of turn, but now it had been said, he couldn't help but regret and await for the accusations of being 'insane' like the tutor had jokingly questioned...
The fact he could see Fae was one thing, but it had also been something he'd kept a secret for a long, long time...so his sudden excited outburst at the thought another had the sight had sent his own eyes glancing nervously around the room as he sat down. Elohari was well respected and whether she had seen a Fae for real, or had just used the comment as an opening statement for the class, nobody would dare think to call her crazy.
As the tutor concluded with a question about the Gala, Rick kept his eyes averted slightly, afraid he'd made himself a fool by speaking aloud of things considered 'fantasy' to many... He had certainly received an envelope beneath his door and although it was exciting to have an opportunity to get together with fellow students and enjoy an event put on by the Academy, he sadly had nobody to go with... There was of course nothing saying he wouldn't go, but he knew he would be by himself as although he claimed to have the ability to naturally draw the ladies, he had vowed to wait until the 'right one' came along - and who knew when that would happen...
Profile Location: Diviner Classroom Appearance: Wearing this Patrick's keeping it simple today With: Branwen, Lelyna, Fiona, Elohari Feeling: Quite Embarrassed and somewhat regretful of his words OoC I think Rick got a little excited here - forgot to hold his tongue. ╔═══════════════════ Patrick’s surprise at her offer made her smile. “Yes, of course. I would enjoy your company.” She said with a nod only to smile again when he moved to grab his things and take the seat that was vacant beside her. She hoped that Kayl wouldn’t mind. He was late to class after all…
Lelyna was a bit sad when Branwen left, but she knew that the raven had other things to do and see. She was a curious creature and Lelyna didn’t blame her one bit for seeking out other company. Although she did hope that Branwen came back eventually, she found that she quiet enjoyed petting her smooth feathers.
“You’re welcome to sit next to me anytime you like, Patrick.” Lelyna said as she tilted her head towards him, her eyes still closed. Her friendship with Patrick was still very new and she had no idea how he would react to seeing her unfocused, grey gaze. Therefore, she elected to keep her eyes closed while they interacted.
While Branwen interacted with Fiona, one of their newer students, Elohari entered the classroom. Lelyna smiled at Elohari’s bold statement about the fae, knowing that few would think them real, having never interacted with them. But Lelyna knew that Elohari was far from insane. There was only one little fae that could have sought out the Diviner Professor and that was Silme. Smiling to herself, she kept silent only to hear Patrick’s excited words.
Surprised by his admission of having interacted with them as well, she soon sensed his regret at having spoken. Did he think that his peers would mock him? Call him a liar? While some might, Lelyna felt the need to set his anxieties as ease. Leaning in a bit closer, she whispered low as to not disrupt the class. “It’s alright, Patrick…I’ve been helping a lovely little fae as of late. I know them to be real too…”
Smiling to herself, she turned her attention back to Elohari and her question about the Gala. “Oh? Was there an announcement about the Gala? I’d heard rumors, but I didn’t know if they were true or not…” As one of the few blind students in the Academy, she was likely the only student that hadn’t realized they’d received an envelope under the door this morning. In any case, she was delighted to know that the Gala was going to happen. “May I ask when it is taking place, Professor?” She wanted to be ready for the event, especially with Mikhail going as her date…

Her brow arched in curiosity, eyes wandering around the classroom in hopes others would know of the Fae. It was known as a myth in Valor, Eoana, and all popular cities. But those that were born in other lands, seemed to believe these myths. Perhaps even know of what she spoke. Elohari was curious to know just who in the classroom had an encounter with the Fae, what others believed they a myth. It seemed Patrick was even more ecstatic that Elohari. Her head turned to the red-haired man, watching him light up with excitement. Elohari's smile spread wide as he expressed his emotions.
It was such a lovely thing to see someone so delighted. It seemed Patrick was even more ecstatic, near insane as he whipped around, blaring his own tails. Elohari listened delightfully so, a calm demeanor to her body, but an ever enticed by Patrick's reaction. He, however, seemed to hitch, halting his words. Elohari's eyes fluttered for a moment, brow twinged in confusion. Just why did he stop? Elohari watched the males demeanor, full of embarrassment. "Oh no.. No. Do not shame yourself, Sir Lockheart." Elohari spoke aloud as he averted his gaze from the classroom.
Lelyna backed up and supported Patrick quickly, bringing his spirits up hopefully. A smile crept back to her lips "See, you shan't shame thyself, you are not insane." Elohari spoke after Lelyna, giving the male a thumbs up in response "Never embarrass over one's emotion. Accept and move on, never dread it." She spoke swiftly before bringing back into the topic the Fae.
"It seemed everyone here is familiar with the myth, of the Faries." Elohari glanced to Fioana, then the rest "Myth to most, but here they are real. Diviners hold a special place in many things, including sight." Elohari swiftly spoke, hands flowing along with her words, aimlessly directing. "Even without our eyes, we see.... Within the topic of the Fae, they are indeed real, but rare. If you've befriended one, it is a true blessing." Elohari smiled sweetly at the class "Any myth to us, is a possibility, remember that." Elohari gave the classroom a small wink.
"Ah yes, the Gala. It is tomorrow eve." She spoke to Lelyna, adverting to the other two "It is not required to attend, but we do hope you join us. All the court mages shall attend along with most of our professors.... I being one." Elohari spoke a bit "They wished to give you all a little get together, ease your suffering from all the professors." Elohari jested lightly "It is formal, so we do expect you to dress as such. But I have hopes everyone will enjoy themselves there no matter." Elohari released a small sigh
"To be frank, I am unsure of what to talk about today.... is there anything in particular we should work on today?" Elohari inquired lightly, glancing about the classroom.

Kayl Ardrus De'Valaer
Probability || None Enters the from the courtyard, with Silme hidden in the cove of his cloak resting on his shoulder...
╔═══════════════════
As they walked through the halls of the academy, Kayl had reached the Diviner classroom much faster then he anticipated. Silme wouldn't have had a chance to answer him if he entered without revealing herself to the entire class. Noting this, Kayl looked over to his shoulder within the cove of his cloak, and smiled lightly. "I apologize Silme, I am already running late for class, but wish to continue this conversation, if you'd like, you are welcome to stay with me, I won't reveal your presence, and will leave it to you should you wish to speak with anyone within the classroom, and after class I'd be happy to continue our conversation so that I can help you with whatever way I can," After finishing his words, he nodded lightly, and then pulled open the door to the classroom. He caught some of the tail end of the conversation they were having, it seemed they were discussing the Fae in someway just before changing topics to the Gala event upcoming. He didn't catch the full conversation, and thus wasn't sure in what context they were discussing them, but he did catch a small snippet of them explaining what is real vs what is myth.
Kayl couldn't help but feel a little silly walking in just then, with that conversation being discussed when an actual Fae was currently sitting on his shoulder. He had to stifle a laugh as he closed the door behind him and bowed deeply to Elohari. "Forgive me Ms Mehra, I am late today, and do not have a proper excuse, other then I was a little distracted this morning..." Kayl said again holding back a small stifle of a chuckle. 'That was a terrible pun...' He thought to himself with a small shake of his head. Once Elohari acknowledged his apology, Kayl walked over and took a seat by Lelyna as usual, and nodded to Patrick who was sitting on other side of her. "Seems I missed a good portion of an interesting conversation," Kayl said lightly to Lelyna and Patrick as he sat down, and lifted his cloak off of his head, taken care to pull it back fully without knocking Silme over. She would still be able to sit within its folds comfortably, but the cove of cover was removed as they were inside now and it was warm. "Did I miss anything else?"

Patrick Lockheart ~ Diviner Classroom ~
"Clever Bird." Branwen would puff out her chest proudly as she mimicked Fiona's words, leaning into her touch a little before turning her head as Patrick stood up so excitedly in his seat. "Imaginary Friends." Having no 'sight' to see the Fae herself unless they made themselves visible, Branwen was otherwise disbelieving that the little creatures existed and often felt her friend was a little 'odd'. Sure, he could see spirits - so could she, but the Fae Folk themselves? They were a product of Rick's Imagination until she was proven otherwise.
"Can she dance?" Branwen looked back towards Fiona now, tilting her head as though asking the female a question,
Rick on the other hand felt inspired by what Lelyna and Elohari had said, he would nod, accepting that he shouldn't be ashamed for his gift and that if anything it was a blessing to have the sight - especially if you were able to befriend one. Patrick's mind would momentarily drift back to the one he'd met back at the Solstice Festival, he would have loved so much to have befriended it, but fate saw it was not to be... He would zone back in after Elohari had finished talking about the Gala, his eyes turning to Kael as he entered the room.
He hadn't noticed her at first... So neatly hidden within the shelter of Kael's cloak... but as it was lifted, Rick leant forward to acknowledge the male's greeting and his jaw dropped - only slightly, but he would wave, then sit back in his seat, wondering if his eyes had deceived him... All this talk of Faeries and he was suddenly seeing one - with Kael no doubt... What a lucky chap to have befriended such... Keeping quiet, he dared not chance another glance and instead gave a quick whistle, summoning Branwen back to them.
The White Raven would turn her head at the sound, then glance back at Fiona briefly before hopping to the edge of the desk. "Go dance, much fun." At that, she would take wing, leaving but a small white feather in her wake as she crossed the room back towards Rick.
The Diviner could do little more than roll his eyes as before reaching him, the bird swerved off to the side, landing instead infront of Lelyna and hopping closer to the female before nestling down ready to listen as Elohari asked if anyone had any certain focus they wanted to work on.

╔═══════════════════ Hearing the classroom door open, Lelyna tilted her head to the side slightly, the sound of footsteps sounding. Kayl’s polite words and tone reached her ears and she smiled. It seemed that as of late, Kayl was making it a habit of coming to class late – it wasn’t a very good habit to have in her opinion. But, then again, Elohari didn’t seem to mind too much. Lelyna was further amused by the way Kayl took the seat to her other side, effectively placing her in between himself and Patrick. Smiling slightly, she had to wonder if it looked odd, having all of them sitting in a row when there were so many other open seats to take.
At his inquiry, she shook her head a little. “Professor Mehra was just commenting on the fae…We haven’t begun the lesson yet.” Lelyna whispered with a small playful nudge, silently chiding him for being late. She made a mental note to tease him about it later. Hearing Elohari’s answer to her question in regards to the Gala, she raised her head slightly to listen intently to their Professors words. Unfortunately, the answer she was given wasn’t one that she’d expected.
Lelyna was surprised that the Gala was so close. She’d hoped that she’d have time to find the perfect dress to wear, or more specifically, ask her mother to make her one for the event. Her mother was the most talented seamstress she knew. Her dresses were very popular and always in high demand back home – high born families were always commissioning her, even some of the Royals wore her gowns. But with only one day to prepare, Lelyna knew that she was either going to have to wear one of her regular dresses, which weren’t formal, or ask to borrow a dress from someone. Lelyna knew she couldn’t afford a formal gown from one of the local dress shops.
Her originally happy and excited expression slowly morphed into a frown. Releasing a heavy sigh, she tilted her head down toward the desk, her hands lightly clenched together. Her hopes suddenly dashed, she wondered if maybe they should forgo going to the Gala altogether. The last thing she wanted to do was embarrass a Prince of Valor by showing up in the wrong attire for such a grand event.
