![User Image](https://i.imgur.com/bDGwl7T.png) ╔═══════════════════ Leon felt proud to have Leo on his arm as they walked into the Grand Auditorium. He took care to give Captain Reynard a small nod as he passed, knowing that the male was working the event to ensure the safety of all the attendees. Once news had reached Leon of the loss of Reynard’s fiancé, he’d paid his respects to his friend. The loss of a loved one was a heavy burden and one that he’d hoped to help ease. Leo too had been devastated by the news of Otsanda’s death. Yes, the two females had loved the same male for a time, but that didn’t mean that Leo had hated the female. Reynard gave him a nod of acknowledgement and a small smile to Leonora as they passed.
Leading Leonora further inside, he smiled down at her. Her excitement was adorable. Leon had to admit, he was very proud of his future mate – she’d accomplished much since moving to Eoana. Feeling her tail linking with his, Leon blushed a little and smiled to himself. Dressed in one of Leonora’s creations, he puffed his chest out a bit more with pride.
As they headed to the staff seating area, he was caught off guard by Leonora’s words. Blushing deeply, he looked down at her with a bit of surprise. They’d recently become engaged and were planning their mating ceremony, but it seemed that Leo had cubs on her mind, their cubs
“W-Well…yes, I can see our cubs coming here to learn.” In all honesty he’d never thought he’d be mated, let alone having cubs of his own, so a part of him didn’t want to jinx it. But he was happy to know that Leo wanted to have that sort of a life with him.
Escorting her to her seat, he looked up at the stage as Gannon made his announcement and asked everyone to be seated. “Perfect timing…” Leon said with a smile as he looked to Leonora. Per Gannon’s instruction, everyone began to shuffle to their seats. The graduates were all seated up front while the faculty took the seats behind them for a few rows and then the friends and family who’d come to support the lucky graduates.
Curiously, there seemed to be one graduate who had a friend or sibling attached to his back, literally. Chuckling a little bit, Leon pointed toward the shifter male, so Leo could see as well.

╔═══════════════════ Reynard’s ears twitched lightly at the sound of heels clicking against the ground as someone approached him. If the sound hadn’t caught his attention, the scent would have – Diane always smelled like vanilla and toasted coconut. Her scent made him think of warm summer days…
Looking toward her, he’d been about to greet her when he caught sight of her attire. To say that he was rendered speechless was a bit of an understatement. Every man in Eoana, and likely Valor, knew how lovely Diane Lennox was. He wasn’t blind, and even if he were Rey would have known that Diane was beautiful. Not only was she lovely on the outside, but she was an amazing woman on the inside as well. She was friendly and genuine; her demeanor was professional, and she treated everyone with respect. Overall, Reynard had very high respect for Diane, both as a woman and as a commanding officer. Over the last two months, she’d been invaluable to him and his team.
Feeling his cheeks heat a bit at the sight of her outfit, his ears tipped back at her words and Rey found himself averting his gaze far to the side, lest he get caught staring at her. Nodding a bit, he cleared his throat subconsciously. “Yes…the safety of everyone attending is the priority. We don’t need anyone worrying about the loss of a loved one on a special day like this.” Yes, he was being formal and a bit rigid, but he couldn’t seem to help it.
Hearing Gannon’s announcement, Rey looked toward the stage and then, finally, back at Diane. “It looks like the ceremony will be starting soon.” It was an obvious statement, but regardless, it was true. Gesturing to the space along the wall next to him, he smiled a little, wondering if Diane would take the offered spot at his side. From his position he had a full vantage point of the auditorium. Cyrus wasn’t too far off either, standing guard and watching the crowd closely as well.
“With any luck, the ceremony will go as planned with no surprises…” Moving his hands behind his back, he clasped them at the small of his back and stood up straighter. The last thing any of them wanted was for things to go wrong…Looking around, Rey frowned a little – Yukira, their best hope at finding the old man and woman who’d killed Otsanda, was still absent from the assembly. He was getting very frustrated with his First Lieutenant….
Trying his best not to let his mood sour, he hazarded a glance at Diane again. She truly did look beautiful. But he didn’t know if it would be appropriate to compliment her or not. Figuring it was worth the chance, Rey kept his gaze forward, but leaned a bit to the side, closer to Diane to whisper his compliment to her. “You look lovely today, General. Your attire suites you.” Straightening back up, he hoped that his cheeks weren’t too red.

"Give service, Help the Innocent, Save the lives of friend and foe"
This is not a ceremony that Griselda planned on attending. She is not graduating, and neither is Catherine. Why is she there with the princess? It turns out that Valor's prince is graduating. Catherine, along with other members of her family, will be attending this ceremony to see the man graduate. That is a good enough reason for the royal family to go, so why a commoner who is not graduating should do the same? Well, if she were not in a relationship with the princess, she probably would have stayed in their dorm room. However, Catherine wanted Griselda to be there, and she is not one to refuse her, even though she fears that she will embarrass her. What did she have to wear? Well, the princess has helped Griselda increase her wardrobe over the past two months so she is not lacking options this time around. However, there is one thought lingering in the back of her mind that has kept the commoner depressed: Pepin. The young apprentice chef whom she treated like a little sister is gone. At this point, she is listed as missing, but Griselda feels that the worst has happened to her. Because of this, she has lost the passion to write and has not been at her best when it comes to training. It is only because of Catherine's support that the commoner has not fallen entirely. Still, it is plain to see that she is still hurting.
Here they are, standing side by side, neither of them not really sure what to do. Conversations are taking place here and there throughout the Grand Auditorium. Happiness is infecting the audience here, which is expected since this must be a proud day for students, teachers, and family. Griselda wishes that she feel some of this happiness right now, but the thought of Pepin and not being one of those graduating students did not help. She did not expect to graduate, so it is mostly Pepin that is keeping her spirits down. Griselda is trying her best to smile, but the more she try and force it, it only made her face look awkward. It is easier for her to not frown and keep a still face than try to fake happiness. Perhaps she will not admit it, but she hopes the ceremony is quick so she can retire to her dorm room and continue resting. At least when she is asleep, she does not have to think.

![User Image](https://i.imgur.com/gOxyXSR.png?1) ![User Image](https://i.imgur.com/mtRXiVO.png) Ven found the annual graduation ceremony to be quite bittersweet. He was always proud of the students who worked hard and managed to graduate, but at the same time, it meant that their time at the academy was over unless they decided to continue their studies, it was often the last time he'd see them again and despite anything he might say, it was a little sad—and it was worse this year.
The auditorium was lavishly decorated as usual and the seats were taken by students, friends and proud parents who've all come to attend the celebration, filling the air with their loud and happy chatters as he Gia and Gin entered the hall. Looking at the younger shifter and seeing him dressed up and ready for his graduation made Ven fiercely proud. After four years of studying, he'd come a long way and with him and despite what had happened with the visions and Sokea, he was still going strong and Ven couldn't be happier with his now-adopted son. When the young shifter turned to smile and thanked them for coming, Ven scoffed and nodded as Gia spoke. "She's right, there is nowhere else we'd rather be right now."
When Gia let him go after giving him a hug, Ven pulled Gin into a tight embrace before pulling back and giving him a smile that didn't quite show the depth of his feelings, but it came quite close. "Look at you. Who'd have thought that sullen, angry boy from four years ago would be standing here right now. After everything, you're here, you're succeeding and I can't be more proud... my son." To Ven's private horror, he could feel tears welling up in his eyes and he valiantly managed to blink them back, grasping Gin's shoulder firmly before letting him go. "We'll be waiting."
Ven curled an arm around Gia's waist as he watched their young man make his way towards the front row. The sight of him with a familiar-looking girl made his eyebrow raise and he resolved to ask them about it after the ceremony as it was about to start. "I never expected something like this could happen," he admitted after they've taken their seats where they could get a good view of the proceedings. "That we'd see our son graduating." It wasn't that he didn't think Gin could do it, the opposite actually. Ven had hoped to settle down and start a family, that was a wish that he'd privately expressed to Eli (and what he was sure started the spree of his best friend setting him up so often), but he never thought he'd manage to find one so soon and he couldn't foresee just how happy they'd make him.
Suddenly overcome with emotion, he tilted his head to give Gia a long searing kiss before pulling back to look at her with loving eyes. "You've both made me the happiest I've been in a long while and I can't thank you enough. I feel like I'm the luckiest man this side of Eoana." Any other time and Ven would probably splutter and stutter and make a mess of things and while he could feel his face burning hotly at his admission, he managed to keep his voice steady because this was something he needed to say.

╔═══════════════════ Gannon waited for most of the people in the auditorium to be seated. He knew that if he waited for everyone to sit down and cease talking that they’d be waiting all day. Thus, clearing his throat a little, he pushed aside the flutters of nervousness in his chest and began.
“Good Afternoon, Everyone. It is my honor and privilege to welcome you to the Academy’s Third Official Graduation Ceremony.” Because the Academy had only been established five years ago, they had had very few graduation ceremonies thus far. Regardless, Gannon was pleased to know that the Academy was prospering and serving as a shining example of how successful the Peace Treaty between Valor and Trendel really was. “As many of you know, Eoana is still a very new Academy. Founded only five years ago, I can say with great confidence and pride, that each year we receive more and more applications from hopeful students from around the world. Next year, we will have more students than ever before. To know that students from not only Valor and Trendel, but from all Kingdoms around the world, feel that they can come here to study and grow in peace gives each and every member of this Academy great pride.” Gannon knew that the faculty as a whole was proud to teach students from all over the world. And from what he could tell, each student who was accepted to study here was proud to be a part of the Academy.
“This year, I am pleased to announce that we have five graduates, at least two of which will continue their education here at Eoana Academy as members of the Academy’s Graduate program.” The graduate program had only recently been established – Lelyna and Gin would be the first graduate students to ever participate in the program. Looking down toward the five graduates, he gave them a sincere smile as he spoke directly to them. “While the five of you will be graduating today, and while some of you will leave the Academy and move on to other adventures and opportunities out in the world, I assure you, although your education at the Academy might be at an end, you will never stop learning and growing. The world as a whole, is one giant classroom. You will face challenges in your day to day lives every day. Some of those challenges you will overcome, and some you won’t. But with each experience, you will learn and grow more and more.” He knew that even at his age, with all that he had accomplished, that he was still learning and growing as well. Just because he wasn’t seated in a classroom everyday didn’t mean that his education had stopped.
“At this time, I would like all five of the graduates to come up in the order that they are called to stand the section of the stage to my right.” Gannon said with a gesture of his arm as he spoke. There were five separate chairs, each spaced about a meter apart from one another.
The first name called was Patrick Lockheart, next was Ivar Tyr, then Lelyna Thaniels, then Mikhail Warson and last but not least, Gin Kuroko Ackkerman. With the announcement of each student’s name, applause and cheers followed. Gannon watched as Mikhail helped lead Lelyna up onto the stage and then to her seat. He’d known that the Prince would do this, and thus had called Mikhail and Lelyna together to ensure that she was taken care of.
As Gin arose from his seat, Gannon was amused to see a young girl attached to his back. Gannon had fully expected Gin to set the girl down, but no, true to his nature as a rebel, Gin walked toward the stage with the girl clinging to his back like a koala. The ushers tried to stop him, but Gin only growled at them, causing them to shuffle backward. Shaking his head with an amused look in his eyes and smile on his face, Gannon gave the ushers a signal to let Gin do as he pleased. If Gin wanted to have the girl on his back while he graduated, then so be it.
Once all the graduates were seated, Gannon moved to the small table that held five nearly identical sealed scrolls. Each was elegantly calligraphed by Elijah Isaacs himself. The Ink Manipulator was a master at his craft and took great pride in his skill. Every graduation scroll ever given out at the Academy had been designed and made by Elijah personally. Each was unique in their own way, whether it be the elegant designs along the frame work, or the style of text used. The Head Librarian took great pride in this and spent many hours on each, perfecting them one by one. Grabbing the first scroll, Gannon unfurled it to reveal Patrick’s name, elegantly scripted. “Patrick Lockheart, please stand.” Smiling, he moved to the far end of the stage where Patrick had been seated and now moved to stand to receive his scroll. “Congratulations, Patrick. You are a very talented Diviner, and with your unique power, I know that you have a lot to offer the world. I hope that you continue your education, in one way or another.” Gannon said with a smile as he offered Patrick his hand in a friendly and congratulatory handshake. The scroll documented all of Patrick’s powers, his status as a graduate and his accomplishments at the academy as a student. Handing the scroll to Patrick, Gannon joined in the crowd as they clapped and cheered for him.
As the cheers died away, and Patrick sat back down, Gannon moved back to the table to retrieve the next scroll. Taking the second scroll in hand, Gannon gently unfurled it to reveal Ivar’s full name. The scroll dictated Ivar’s skill with his raiment, the type of power he possessed, and all his accomplishments achieved during his short time at the school. “Ivar Tyr, please stand.” With the scroll in hand he walked over to the student to stand just off to the side, so his friends and family could witness the interaction.
“Congratulations, Ivar. As an S-Class student, I’m proud to send you out into the world and on to your next grand adventure.” Gannon said as he offered Ivar his hand to shake. “This scroll dictates that you have graduated from the Academy officially and documents all of your accomplishments during your time here.” Handing the scroll over to Ivar, he gave the boy a warm smile before stepping back, allowing the audience to cheer and congratulate Ivar.
Once the crowd calmed and Ivar sat back down, Gannon went back to the table and took the third scroll in hand. Gannon already knew whose name would be revealed when he unfurled the parchment, but just to be sure, he double checked that the third scroll belonged to Mikhail Warsong. “Mikhail Warson, please stand.” Even before Gannon had started to walk over, the crowd was cheering for the Prince. Smiling to himself, he waited for the crowd to calm down before he spoke. “Mikhail…I know that you were apprehensive about attending the Academy when you first arrived, but I am happy to know that you have enjoyed your time here. You will not only leave here with your new skills and a mastery of your powers, but also with many lasting friendships.” Gannon couldn’t help but glance from Mikhail to Lelyna and back again, a knowing look in his eyes. Offering him his hand in a congratulatory handshake, Gannon smiled. “I sincerely hope that your time here at Eoana Academy will not be forgotten.” Mikhail was the academy’s first Royal Graduate and a shining example that the treaty between Valor and Trendel was succeeding. “Congratulations, Your Highness.” It was then, as Gannon handed Mikhail his scroll that the crowd went wild. Gannon noticed that more than one guard was cheering and clapping loudly – it seemed that a few representatives of Valor were very pleased with the Prince’s accomplishments. Stepping aside, Gannon let the crowd settle down as he walked back over to the table to retrieve the next graduation scroll. With the fourth scroll in hand, he knew whose name would be revealed. As he unfurled it, Gannon felt a warmth is his heart. Smiling, he called the fourth graduate’s name. “Lelyna Thaniel’s, please stand.”
As Gannon turned to approach Lelyna, he saw her lightly blushed cheeks and her happy smile. To his surprise her eyes were also open – a rare thing indeed. Moving to her side, Gannon gently touched her elbow to let her know where he stood. Lelyna turned her body slightly toward him and waited for him to speak. “Lelyna, as your mentor and professor, it was a pleasure and an honor to work with you directly. To see you blossom and grow into the talented Diviner that I knew you could become is one of the reasons why I enjoy my work so much. To know that you are moving on to the Graduate Program gives me great pride and I look forward to seeing how far you can go and what you can accomplish.” Gannon said with a warm smile as he took Lelyna’s hand and lifted it to kiss her knuckles, as befitted a lady.
With the crowd cheering, Gannon placed her scroll in her hands and whispered something only she could hear. “Elijah insists that you come to him for the memories of the scroll. He wants you to see how beautiful it turned out – he worked especially hard on yours.” Gannon said with a smile before stepping back to clap for Lelyna as well.
Again, the cheers subsided and there was only one scroll left to hand out. After checking to make sure that it was Gin’s, Gannon called for him to stand. “Gin Kuroko Ackkerman, please stand.” Gannon knew full well that Ven and Gia were in the audience, watching with tears in their eyes as Gin stood, the girl still clinging to his back. Approaching the pair, he gave Gin an amused look.
“Gin….and…?” He prompted, a few people in the audience chuckling lightly. Gin, to his credit, merely smirked and looked over his shoulder at the girl.
“My little sister, Rin.” Nodding in understanding, Gannon smile. “Gin, from the start you were a wild one…a lone wolf who wanted to be left alone. Some called you grumpy, maybe even mean…but like myself, others saw potential in you.” Gannon said as he turned to look out into the audience at Ven and Gia. “These past few years have been especially challenging for you, Gin. But I am glad to see that you were able to face those challenges and overcome them. You are far stronger than you were than you arrived. You have made friends, you have found family, and you have gained control.” They both knew that Gannon was referring to more than his shifting powers. “Congratulations, Gin.” Shaking the young wolf’s hand, he smiled and gave him an approving nod before stepping back to clap with the rest of the crowd.
As the cheers began to ebb, Gannon gestured to the five graduates. “I present to you, the third graduating class of Eoana Academy!” With that, he gestured for all of them to stand and to have their moment. Mikhail, true to his Princely nature, helped Lelyna to stand, as she wouldn’t have seen the gesture or heard Gannon over the cheers even if he’d shouted.
He watched the graduates receive their praise, pride filling his chest at the sight. This was why he worked so hard at the Academy. This was why each day, he moved forward – for the students and for their future. But even as he stood watching the smiles on each of their faces, he felt an ache in his chest…an ache that could only be eased by one person, who was very far away.

So two months, and the time has finally come. After everything that's been going on, he somewhat felt relieved and yet a bit of sadness at the same time. If anything, he never expected Ivar to be skipping three years and go straight to graduation. Yet what actually did worry him the most in the back of his mind, was the fact that he knows about Nanashi's past as a bandit, and the crimes he's done. It would be a matter of time until it leaks out that Eoana Academy was harboring a fugitive. Yet he didn't care. As he watched the ceremony go on from the back of the auditorium, the whole thing made him think about himself. Basically, the only reason he was alive was to take vengeance on the bandit group and kill the leader who took his arm and Asahi from him. Just the sheer thought of that made his prosthetic arm form a fist. It was soon later that all of those thoughts were to escape his mind when he heard Patrick's name. Nanashi knew he would miss Patrick, seeing as he basically helped Nanashi speak to Asahi one last time, before she would pass over. He even made the promise to live for her sake at this point. Was vengeance all he would be going for? Hmm? he noticed that Jesse was there in a seat with others as he would watch her and let up a bit of a smile. She did agree to go on a date with him, even if she never said it was one. Still, anytime he would think about that, he'd be blushing. that thought would soon go away after hearing Ganon give his speech as well as diplomas to the students. Nanashi left off a sigh as he clapped to them. He knew that he'd have to talk to Ivar and let him know what he'll be doing after graduation himself. Yeah... Head of the Kuzunoha Clan... He would say to himself, as he'd nod in Ivar's direction and wave to Jesse before leaving ((exits to next RP day))

Patrick Lockheart Jesse Randall ~ The Auditorium ~ ![User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.](https://graphics.gaiaonline.com/images/s.gif) Patrick had found it a little more difficult to keep himself calm this time - for a lad who was used to getting up infront of crowd and performing, this, - his Graduation - felt quite different. Still, as his name was called, he rose, steadying himself for a brief second before pulling on his trademark smile and advancing towards the stage. The Applause gave him a rush and as he reached the seats, he would join in the applause as the others joined him before sitting down. He had barely sat for but a moment when his name was called and he rose as the applause filled the Auditorium once again, Rick nodded quietly to himself before advancing towards the Court Mage to shake his hand, "Oh, for sure, Sir - and I can't wait," he bowed his head politely as he took the scroll - uncertain of exactly what it would entail but knowing that the Graduation Program certainly had a lot to offer him. As he moved to return to his seat, Rick's eyes would momentarily scan the crowd, taking in all the smiling faces before spying one in particular. Those observing would not know to whom he waved at, but the woman would nod and smile, waving back before clapping inaudibly as he sat back down. Once seated, his fingers would trace the expertly calligraphied lettering before rolling up the scroll as another moved to receive their commendation. In the crowd, Jesse's hands hadn't ceased in clapping, well, except for when the room was quiet. She had met Rick during the Solstice event when she had been out and about with her previous roommate, Taenya. It was still a shame that she had gone back home, but at least she was safe. The Diviner was looking really smart in his attire and it was clear he'd taken his time to ensure his presentation was at its best. She watched as he took his seat, continuing to clap as the others rose in turn. She had already cast a glance around the crowd when she had entered, but as the final student claimed their scroll and everyone rose in great applause for all the Graduates, the Fennec Child felt her eyes wandering... She wasn't very tall and that limited what she could see when everyone stood up, but she could still see many faces in the crowd and one that she recognised immediately. If he happened to catch her eye, Jesse would give Nanashi a wave and a sweet grin, if not, she would just smile, glad to have seen him and certain that if the chance arose, she'd be more than happy to accompany him out and about again if he was up for it. Eryli merely spectated as everything played out and her friend had left the group for the ceremony, following Kayn and Elenora to get seated.
Throughout Gannon's speech, along with the crowd Eryli would grin wide and clap for the graduates, refraining from jumping up from her seat whenever Mikhail or Lelyna were up, it would be rude to give extra when everybody up front clearly worked just as hard as one another to get where they are. Still, a joyful tear slipped through the mute girls defenses as the Court Mage praised her friends efforts... She could only imagine how proud everybody is on how far they've come.
Eryli's mind strayed back in time... To think, Lelyna went from discovering her unique abilities, to facing early consequences, and now to conquering them, refusing to let what happened stop her from going up in the world. She looked around the Auditorium with a curiousity in mind. I wonder... What kind of stories everybody else bears on their lives? With the new year, she'll have to make it a mission to learn this. Not yet though, this is a day for the graduates and she should remain focused on them.

╔═══════════════════ Hearing Patrick’s words, Lelyna smiled and nodded. ”Don’t worry, Patrick, we’re all in this together.” This was a happy occasion – yes, she was very nervous about going up on stage but it would only be for a short while and she’d have her friends with her. In no time, Mikhail took the seat next to her and shortly after that, they were all called up on stage. With Mikhail’s help Lelyna walked up the stage steps and took her seat.
As each of the other graduates were given their scrolls and words of praise, Lelyna smiled wide and clapped along with the crowd, congratulating each one. Lelyna clapped especially hard when Mikhail was given his scroll. She was so proud of him – he’d come so far over the years and all his effort had paid off.
But when it was her turn, Lelyna felt the butterflies in her stomach return. Arising from her seat, her eyes open, she braced herself for the coming interaction. Lelyna felt Gannon’s light touch on her elbow, nodding a bit, she turned slightly toward him. Gannon had been a mentor to her since she’d arrived, and she felt closer to him than any of the other Professors. To have him present her with her graduation scroll meant the world to her.
“Thank you, Gannon…I can’t wait to get started in the Graduate Program.” In all honesty, she wasn’t ready to leave the Academy just yet. Hearing Gannon’s whisper, Lelyna smiled wide and nodded – Elijah was such a sweetheart. She couldn’t wait to see what the scroll looked like, there was no doubt that it was beautiful.
Retaking her seat, Lelyna clapped for Gin and laughed lightly, realizing that Gin either had a sibling attached to his side or his back, considering how he was talking to Gannon. It made for an interesting image for sure. By the end of the graduation, the audience was cheering for them all, and Lelyna felt excitement and elation coursing through her instead of nerves. With Mikhail’s help, she left the stage and reunited with her mother, who embraced her lovingly.
“I’m so proud of you, Lelyna…” Hugging her mother tightly, Lelyna felt like the luckiest girl in the world. After a few days, she and her mother would head back to Valor for summer break and then she’d come back for the graduate program. Lelyna couldn’t wait to go home for a visit.

╔═══════════════════ Gin clapped and cheered for his fellow graduates, knowing they’d all worked hard to achieve their A-Classifications. With Rin still clinging to his back, he looked over his shoulder at her when she shifted and spoke. Shaking his head a little bit, he knew that the two of them had a lot to talk about. For one, he hadn’t left her behind by choice she’d been too young to come to the Academy. He’d wanted to tell her all of this before he’d left, but he couldn’t find her in time, thus he’d left her a letter telling her everything. Regardless, it seemed that the letter hadn’t been enough.
“Don’t worry Rin, I’m not going anywhere without you.” He was sure she’d be surprised to learn of his adoption and the fact that he’d disowned their clan. Gin had to wonder if Gia and Ven would want to take Rin in as well…
By the time his turn came around, Rin had wrapped her arms around his neck and clung to him like the koala she was impersonating at the moment. Arising from his seat, Gin gave Gannon a little smirk when he inquired as to whom was on his back. To his relief, Gannon didn’t seem to mind that his little sister had decided to tag along for the main event.
Like the others, Gannon gave a small speech about Gin’s time at the Academy. All of it was true – Gin was a lone wolf, someone that had wanted to be left alone, but Ven and Gia had had other plans…This last year had been especially eventful and he was glad for it. In the end, despite the challenges and the heartache, he’d come through stronger.
Shaking Gannon’s hand, he took his graduations scroll with a nod and a word of thanks. Looking out toward Ven and Gia, Gin grinned wide, knowing they were both likely very emotional. And as Gannon announced the third graduating class, Gin clapped for them all.
Looking out over the crowd, Gin's gaze moved over the smiling faces. He recognized so many people, teachers, students, faculty. But as his gaze moved over them all, it stopped on one smiling face. Much to his own surprise, his eyes locked on to the man. He looked familiar and yet, in that moment, Gin couldnt place him. It was only after several moments of contemplation that he realized that the man he was staring at, blatantly, was none other than Court Mage Lerato. With his hair cut so short, Gin hadnt recognized him. It didnt help that Gin had had very few interactions with the man, but still, after three years, he should have known who was staring at right away.
Shaking his head a little, he looked away, taking deliberate care to look over his fellow graduates to distract himself. But much to his own disbelief, his gaze moved back to Lerato. As a blush colored his cheeks, Gin felt his chest ache. Shaking his head a little, he slammed his eyes shut and pushed whatever the feeling in his chest was, aside.
Eventually, he too exited the stage and headed into the crowd. With Rin on his back, he moved through the people toward Ven and Gia who were likely eager to congratulate him and know who he had with him. As he approached his adopted parents, he grinned wide.
“Rin…I’d like you to meet two very special people…Ven and Gia…not only are they the best Professors in the Academy, but…well, they’re my parents now.” And maybe, in time, they’d be hers as well…Gin could only hope anyway. “Mom, Dad…this is my little sister, Catherine.” There was no doubt in his mind that Gia and Ven would love Rin and accept her in a heartbeat…
