Only after Honey returned the affirmative that she was alright, Saekki turned to the jounin captain and given him the time of the day. He received a brief, to the point promotion in recognition of his feat of breaking through all of the new buildings. Following that, he was firmly but politely asked to never do that again. Saekki was smart enough to not smirk full frontal, but the only thing he did to hide his smirk was to bury his mouth into Honey's fur.
Noud was reasonable, though, and he told Saekki that, if he wanted to be violent, then he had a task for him. The offer earned Saekki's attention, a glimmer of excitement flashing through his eyes. Noud's offer was to fight as part of Konoha's aid in fighting off the Kogarashi forces attacking Arashi. Who this Kogarashi was, Saekki did not know. He had heard talk of this Arashi on his travels, but he also didn't care much about this village. However, he accepted. His arrival at the solution of breaking every building in his way to find Honey had been because he was simple-minded. However, even he had to admit, that he kept with it until every building was destroyed because a part of him did enjoy it.
With the mission and promotion given, Saekki was given a crash course on D-rank techniques by Noud. It mostly consisted of pelting him with scrolls and techniques alike to test his mettle. Saekki proved himself adaptable and quick-witted, understanding quickly what he was supposed to do with a technique. Then he was shuttled off to Arashi with the rest of the groupies. On the way back to the keep after training for a bit and sweating. It was so warm, she was tempted to try to find an area to bath. Hmm. There's an idea, doesn't people usually dislike bad body odor? When she had arrived, she saw a man, with silver hair, bellowing at the door. Hikari had to pause and listen to him. This was.... odd. This did not make sense at all. Was it not social customs to knock on the door? Even if his knuckles were fragile, he had other things. Could pick up a rock and use it to knock the door? Heck, even use the hilt of the sword. "I... I don't understand?" Hikari started, "Isn't it customs to always knock? Don't people usually find it rude if you shout at the door? Could always pick up a rock or something... Or even the hilt of your sword." Hikari crossed her arms in front of her as she waited. Maybe he was an angry man and just wanted to yell at something? Or perhaps not smart enough to think of the alternatives? "Since your knuckles are fragile, I could offer ideas to toughen them up."

__Klalda came zipping from the forest line right up to the big earthy dust dust building and coincidently, right beside a very tall white haired man. Of course everyone was tall compared to the little goblin. Her eyes flashed over his person lingering on anything that might be shiny or of value to her. Fance cloth, pointy human stab, pretty eye hmm. They were all there but the question presented to Klalda now was would she be able to close the deal? She should make friends yes? That seemed the best course of action when one wanted to get something from someone. "Nice building yes? Me see big rock make from ground. Lot humans. Me wait come inside with you." Wholly pleased with herself that the tiny goblin had successfully planted the seeds of trust, the tiny creature looked back to the gate. Now space. Let think not so interest.
In the span the followed the awkward silence between the two a third party joined the fray, one beautifully pink haired girl standing ontop the wall. Their conversation of knuckles and where to put them was lost on the goblin who de decided to interrupt them by jumping and waving at the girl who Klalda assumed to be in charge. "Pretty! Let in?" Tiny fingers quickly rummaged along her person as she pulled out all sorts of trinkets from her person, most of which being straight garbage. "Trade?" With a big toothy smile the goblin waited for her answer.

The stranger hollered back, something about that people find it rude when their door turned into ashes. Well. That wasn't a lie. Hikari racked this around in her brain for a moment. What makes people more upset? The shouting? Perhaps the fire? Hmm. Her eyes widen at seeing the little green goblin, "How curious!" Hikari exclaimed, having never seen one of those before. She had a lot to learn that was for sure! She wanted to meet them both and get to know them better. Hikari saw the wave and remembered that when one waves at you, you wave back. The pink haired young lady waved back rather awkwardly and was confused to why the man flicked the green one on the nose. Was that their way of greeting? She needed to be sure to flick this one on the nose too. The man stood up straight back up and mentioned to Hikari to let them in and that how to make his knuckles... gooder? Was that even a word? __When the stranger next to her squat down next to her Klalda's was front and center placed on him. Which is probably why it hurt so much more when the man flickered her snub little nose. "" Rolling backwards like the little goblin had just been punched her mouth was awash with a sea of every kind of curse there was in her oni language. "Big idea what! No trade you!" With a pouty cross of her arms Klalda turned making it clear that her precious wondrous wares now eternally shut off from him. At least not without the use of a LOT of begging and booze. As a matter of fact, a decidedly wicked idea come to existence within her mind at that very moment that made Klalda buzz in place with excitement. "Pretty! Hey pretty! You no let white in me trade even betterer!" It was a wonder how the goblin got any ideas through with her broken english but hopefully the pink haired girl would be able to pick on the Klalda's petty offer just to keep Kanzaki waiting on this side of the wall.

Drugs. Drugs were starting to sound like a really good alternative to dealing with these situations. At least then he wouldn't be sober. Why bother to get on to him about smoking? It seemed the goblin did not like him at all. Oh. Maybe that nose flick was not a proper greeting? They really wanted to go in. Goblin was shouting something about trades. The white man had finally introduced himself and it was a long name. She slowly blinked at him. She thought long names were not common and here he was, proof that she was wrong. He mentioned about registration number as she scratched her cheek. "Yeaaaa I don't have anything about that on me. Alright. Let me go find someone, a higher up. With that, she ran off to find the higher up, started by asking citizens if they had seen her and they pointed her to where they last seen her. Upon finding the blasted woman, "Um. Ma'am, there's people at the door and they are demanding to get in. One is green, about this high." Masato scaled the mountainous cliffside with ease as he neared the precipice of the lowest standing cliff bordering the falls. He looked behind him to see if the young man had followed. He wanted to test the boy but was more interested in digging into his mind. It was clear from the girl's concerns that he wasn't stable. Masato would feel as a kindered spirit to his aggressive nature as he himself was in those shoes...or lack there of only ten years ago. He would relax, awaiting the boy's quick arrival if he left after him directly.

The massive trees of Takijinsei Falls are truly a spectacle to behold. Once the forests of the original Hidden Leaf, the aftereffects of the UHV terraformed the land that led to the sudden growth of the forest to unimaginable levels. An underground water source feeds the grand waterfall that endlessly flows with mythical properties, which attracts all walks of life from the village. Kikan enjoys visiting the falls when he has the chance, and hunting down his new students provided the perfect opportunity.
Among the river that flows from the base of the falls, small islands for the waterway. It's here that Kikan spends the most time, meditating in peace, the natural most keeping anything that could annoy him at bay. Today however, Kikan simply intended to stroll through, keeping a weather eye out for the Genin he needs to meet. With any luck though, he won't find either of them here and can enjoy his walk unabated.
As he continued his leisurely stroll, Kikan gazed over at the mammoth falls. It always seemed to catch his eye when he came, but today it would seem to be extra meaningful. Suddenly, he noticed something. It was so quick he barely saw it at all. A dark shadow had kept from behind a tree on one of the small islets up the waterfall, and disappeared over the top.
At the drop of a coin, Kikan was off. Following the original path of the shadowy figure, Kikan swiftly lept to the same small islet, then up the face of the waterfall, and over the top. Standing not twenty paces from him, an unknown shinobi stood with his arms crossed. Kikan couldn't make out any headband or markings to indicate what village he was from.
"Who are you? What are you doing in my village?" Kikan asked with a hint of venom in his words.
The shinobi didn't respond. Either he had a deathwish, or he had a bad habit of pissing people off. He didn't move, not even an inch, but Kikan could tell he was prepared to act.
"Very well. I can only assume then that you're a rogue ninja. That, or you're from another village for reconaissance purposes. Either way, you're not leaving this village." Kikan warned, an edge to his tone.
Not wanting to give the unknown shinobi any time to get the jump on him, Kikan made the first move. His white eye, the one that housed his Byakugan activated, as well as his Sharingan. The veins on his temples began to visibly pulsating, surging chakra into his eye sockets. The hidden potential he can produce with his bloodlines would make sure that the enemy wouldn't escape his sight.
Lunging forward off his back foot, and swiftly pulling a kunai from his back pouch, Kikan struck forward to slash across the shinobi's abdomen. In the blink of an eye, he vanished, leaving Kikan to catch his footing and stop his attack. Flicking his eyes to the left, Kikan began to spin, planting his palm on the ground and pivoting as he scanned for the enemy. Capitalizing on his momentum, Kikan lashed his left leg out, preparing to roundhouse kick when he could sense the mystery shinobi would appear - behind him.
With an audible and sudden clap, his kick was caught - with one hand. Kikan's eyes widened in surprise at the shinobi's speed. Wrenching his leg free, Kikan backflipped away to a safer distance. Just who was this guy?
"Kikan... Hyuuga... Very interesting." The mysterious ninja growled.
"What?! He knew who he was? Whoever he is, this guy was no ordinary shinobi. Kikan needed to end this now and report to Lahlil, regardless of what this mystery man was planning. Before he could act, the shadowy figure disappeared once more.
Wherever the attack would come from, Kikan needed to be ready. Thanks to both his Byakugan and Sharingan, he could see all around himself, which gave him the perfect opportunity to test out his clan's techniques as well as his reflexes. Thankfully, since this guy already knew who he was, there's no need for him to hide his abilities. Spreading his arms and lowering his stance, Kikan prepared for the incoming assault.
Quieting his mind, Kikan focused on his surroundings, on watch for anything that entered his aura or line of sight. After a few seconds, the shadowy figure still hadn't appeared. I know you're still here, somewhere, I can feel it. . . THERE! Kikan felt it, he was coming in from his left.
"Eight Trigrams: Sixty-Four Palms!" Kikan roared from behind his mask.
Pouring chakra into his arms, he struck. As the shinobi appearing throwing a punch, Kikan quickly intercepted him with a jab with each hand, hitting two tenketsu points in the abdomen, his Sharingan darting around like lightning to prepare his next strike. Sliding his right foot forward, Kikan doubled up and struck him in the abdomen twice more, closing off two more tenketsu points. Following up immediately, Kikan connected with four consecutive strikes, then eight consecutive strikes, followed by sixteen strikes, and finally thirty two consecutive strikes that launched the shinobi backward into a crumpled heap on the ground.
As the dust settled, Kikan slowly walked toward the now paralyzed intruder making sure to watch him closely with both eyes so he didn't try anything sneaky. As he came upon him, Kikan noticed a scroll that must have fallen out of his pocket during Kikan's assault. Picking it up and quickly stowing it in his rear pouch, Kikan stood over the mystery shinobi laying defeated before him.
"I'll ask you once more, and only once more. If you don't answer me, I will kill you." Kikan threatened, the venom in his voice once more. "Now... Who are you, and what are you doing in my village?"
The defeated shinobi began to laugh as his limbs twitched in their attempt to move. Before he could make another move or say anything else, two shinobi kept from the treeline a few yards away wearing the same dark garb as the one Kikan just fought. Surprised that he hadn't noticed them, he froze for a fraction of a second, but it was enough. The two shinobi grabbed their fallen comrade by his arms, and vanished.
Kikan struggled to search for them with the combined effort of his Byakugan and Sharingan, but the trio had already escaped his range. Letting his eyes revert to their normal state, Kikan let out a sigh and looked toward the heavens. Though he managed to repel the mysterious invaders, they had escaped. Who knew if they had managed to steal something, or the amount of intel they managed to gather because of his failure?
Focusing his attention back to the situation at hand, Kikan looked at him surroundings. It appeared as if the group of shinobi had run away, so he felt no need to hang around the falls much longer. It was time to report to Lahlil what had just happened, and what this potential threat could mean for the village that was just revived. Tarrying no more, Kikan kept over the side of the falls, off a large voulder by the waters edge, and finally onto the path that led back to the village proper with haste.
Theodred would continue to follow the older man, having slightly more difficulty scaling the steep inclines due to his younger age and smaller stature. Looking around he would be surprised by the beauty of the wild space where the original Konoha village once stood. As he approached the man that had told him to follow, Theo would stare up into his eyes, โso whyโd you drag me out here?... and how do you know who I am?...โ the boy would ask in a mildly annoyed, but curious tone.

After catching up to him, Masato would greet him with an eager grin. Masato would stare down at the boy who now met his eyes with eagerness. Kurama would murmur something within Masato's mind about the boy's disposition once again, reading his emotions like a book. Masato would show no tells of his internal conversation as he silenced the fox's words with reassurance. " No point in sugar coating anything really." He began, shrugging his shoulders nonchalantly before continuing. " Word is you've got some heavy baggage holding you down." He scratched at the back of his head, trying to gather the words again. " Plenty of people do really. I've been there, really. Truth is I pulled you out here because I still feel responsible to Granny Hatake. I was just a genin then... she helped put me back on the right track once, never got to pay back the favor either." He loosed a heavy sigh. Feelings were never his strong suit but his sense of duty towards his former Kazekage was still enough to have him face such things openly. " We're gonna work out whatever it is ya got goin' on. Doesn't matter if you tell me or if we gotta clash until your feelings are clear." His delivery was probably somewhat off, but Masato wasn't one to let limitations like his ill equipped sense of empathy stop him. He'd understand fists better than words any day.
Theodred would listen to the older man talk about some debt he felt like he had to โGranny Hatakeโ and squint his eyes at him slightlyas he heard the rest of his speech. โ... Always trying to talk anyone with ties to Suna into โhelpingโ me, but they rarely ever wanna help me get stronger so I can avenge my dad and her mom... and our familiesโ village!โ The young Chuunin was talking through gritted teeth at this point, his hands clenched tightly into fists to the point that small trickles of blood might be seen collecting between his fingers. Part of his wanted to attack the man right there, but part of him had a feeling that it wouldnโt end well if he did.

" The girl? " he asked rehtorically, not remembering her name off hand, if he had gotten it? He shook his head in agreement. " Yeah, she asked me to meet with you....but don't get it twisted. You'll need that resolve." He smiled, seeming to slip away from the here and now for a moment as he remembered his blind anger as a youth, then the lessons his late brother had burned into his mind...twisted as they were, Masato deciphered them in his own way and would pass them on. " Resolve and passion is what you need, not wrath. He reflected to the moments he had shared with Sandayu to defeat the Goddess, Evergreen by allowing himself to die. His passion and resolve had given him the ability to trust in his brother, blindly as it was given. "Passion breeds focus." Masato paused to reflect upon his passionate pursuit of strength in order to protect the villagers that he failed to defend once before. His body beaten and mind broken, he continued over and over in his strides to obtain power. " Your focus, passion and resolve provide strength." He clearly recalled his battle against his brother, the accumulation of his hard work and effort, his focus, passion and resolve brought to a pinnacle to defeat him. "You got your current power through the bonds to people from the past. Imagine what bonds with those with you now could give you." He sighed, raising his hand as it formed a fist and raised it forward to the boy, presenting it before him. " If you want to get stronger, nobody here is holding you back. Better be ready to work hard."
Theo could hear the man giving his speech to him, but it was barely registering in his mind, at least on a conscious level, with how deep heโd dug himself in on the wrath and vengeance side of things. A small part of his subconscious began to slowly process the message though, the seed had been planted that may at some point grow and lift him out of the darkness heโd lived in since he was only 4. On the surface, however, he just kept growing angrier. โIโm the one that fought to join the academy at only 4 years old... Iโve done nothing but train and plan for 6 years now as I work towards surpassing my dadโs strength in order to avenge his death! He would half say, half growl through gritted teeth, โYou wanna see whatโs come of all my hard work!?โ With that Theo would burst forward, swinging at the man with a hard right cross to the stomach.

Only after Honey returned the affirmative that she was alright, Saekki turned to the jounin captain and given him the time of the day. He received a brief, to the point promotion in recognition of his feat of breaking through all of the new buildings. Following that, he was firmly but politely asked to never do that again. Saekki was smart enough to not smirk full frontal, but the only thing he did to hide his smirk was to bury his mouth into Honey's fur.
