"And that is a nope again." Jemi replied, unable to puzzle it out what Rosannah was holding. "This is harder then I thought it would be," She said. 'You are okay Shandath.'

'I'm not this is not ending up anyway like it should.' She said, eyes tinting a bit orange in frustration. Why was this so hard.

She'd managed to pull all the tricky things, hadn't she? "It's a comb," Rosannah said. Not the brush that others had pulled. And why would a dragon know how to share that?

Jemi focused, letting the image take shape. Red, round, and ahh. "Red Fruit." She said confidently. Man, now she was starting to get a bit hungry. "Now I could use a snack."

'We didn't do nearly as good as we should have.' The correct answer had not made up for missing so many of them and Shandath was rather upset with how she did.

'We'll get better. It just been a few days and we are learning. It takes a while to get things right.' Jemi soothed.

It was their turn now, and A'ide was ready. Elpisath had had plenty of reason to croon his praises at Metisoth when her and Kinyegele had been doing so well, and now, the little Blue could only hope that they'd be able to imitate that performance. As A'ide pulled their blindfold into place, they reached out with their free hand, giving the dragon at their side a soft pat on the head before they prepared to get started.
Good to go, Elpisath?
Absolutely! Let me just--see what we've got, here. Squinting at the object in Kinye's hand, he did his best to focus as much as possible; his concentration seemed to pay off when A'ide sat up a bit straighter.

"A belt! Too small for a riding strap, I think." Soon enough, they'd have to make their own and find out for sure. "What's next?"

This time, however, Elpisath found himself at a loss for words. He sat there, every gear in his head turning as he tried to describe the object in Kinye's hand to A'ide--he didn't want to give up, but it was clear that something just wasn't connecting somewhere.
I'm sorry--we'll have to look at that one later. You probably know what it is, though...?
Don't worry about it. There's a lot of stuff you haven't seen yet, but we'll get there! A'ide made sure to send Elpisath a fresh wave of encouragement through their bond, and they smiled when their dragonet's soft chirp of delight met their ears. We've got plenty of time to get this down, anyway.

Oh, oh--this, um! This one's the fruit, right? Elpisath had anticipated this one being a problem when he'd spotted the flashes of red in the bucket, and was glad he'd taken the time to remember these objects separately. And that's the ball. Not the other way around.
Got it in one! See? You're doing fine.

Well. Elpisath had perhaps been a little too focused on getting the fruit and ball right--whatever Kinye had picked up was proving to be utterly baffling, and A'ide was having a time trying to decipher the image they'd been sent.
That's--one we're putting aside too.
No problem. We're gonna learn that one so good when we get to it, though--just you watch.

Oh! Oh, hold on, this is--what, um. Hm. What is that. Elpisath's tail flicked as he leaned forward, craning his neck to try and get a better look at this object. It was--soft, and that was important-- that meant it wasn't a box, and it was too big to be just cloth alone...but what did that mean? Should I get closer, or do you need some more description?
Uhh--maybe a description, but I can work with whatever you give me. Take your time, love. You've got this.

His head began to tilt, eyes whirling in thought as he worked on relaying every bit of sensory information he could parse--it only took a few more moments before it finally clicked, and Elpisath stood up abruptly, giving a short bugle of joy at the revelation. He knew what it was!
A pillow! It's, a small one but it's one of those things!
"Is it--?" Seeing as they were on their last one, A'ide didn't see the issue with pulling up their blindfold to check--when it became clear that Elpisath had, in fact, identified the object correctly, they turned to their dragon with a grin, heart swelling with pride. "Look at you, getting the hard stuff. You're doing so good!"

Kinye had dutifully set the two trouble items to the side as they cropped up, Metisoth peering down at them curiously as she did. It was very likely the green was working to figure them out herself just in case the pair decided to do another round of it.

"You two did great!" Kinye praised liberally with a smile as she set the last of the known items back into the bucket, before holding up the unknown ones for A'ide to see. "I don't blame Elpisath for not recognizing these - I don't think many of the babies have seen them!"

The bubble of giddiness since impression hadn't quite worn off, and working with Ra'msi had been an easy enough decision. Blindfold in place, he waited for Kuyizeth's first image.

And he could.. tell it was red, certainly.
I would love to have you try this. The brown huffed, squinting at the red, round object in Ra'msi's hand.

That's the same one. Now that was a cruel trick! Kuyizeth's tail flicked, irritated, as Is'k's hand moved down, finding the brown's shoulders after a moment of searching for him.

'Accusing isn't nice. Maybe it was something similar in the bucket.'

"Alright -- a red ball this time?" It seemed like split odds.
