As they returned from the cold black between Killakeeth spotted more falling ahead of them. The pair dove and Vosin flamed it to ash.

Kleoth pivoted sharply towards a particularly large clump of Thread, and Phryana was able to sear it to a crisp. That was very satisfying indeed, especially since before... No, no time to dwell upon it. They would do their best, no matter what.

Another bit of Thread slipped through the fighting wings, and Kleoth angled herself closer so Phryana could burn it down. Phryana had heard of the horrors of flamethrowers jamming before, so she was extremely grateful that hers seemed to be functioning without the slightest hitch.
90-92 A sudden gust of wind kicks up, threatening to push your dragon out of formation. Thankfully, this gust doesn't have anything on your dragon! You easily fight through it, and find your dragon isn't really winded at all. All that exercise and training seems to be paying off. +1 General Stamina
The wind came at them hard, and Kleoth gave a slight grunt as she compensated for the unexpected gust. Phryana was pleased that it didn't even seem to tire the gold. All of their training was paying off.
29-35. As you're looking for the rogue Thread, you notice one of your wingmates in danger. You and your dragon call out warning and are lucky to see the pair respond. Quote a Wingmate and have all damage removed from their most recent roll!
Both dragon and rider kept a sharp lookout for any bits of Thread that might have slipped through from above, having personally experienced being taken unaware... Kleoth's sharp eyes spotted trouble. Even with a flamethrower blast, that clump of Thread looked a little too big to be handled all at once! Riamsoth, beware! With luck, the young queen and rider would be able to squeak out of harm's way thanks to the warning.

There! A flash of silver. Phryana took aim and flamed it down. There was a savage sort of satisfaction in finally being able to fight. Kleoth thrummed in agreement, pleased at seeing the Ancient Enemy reduced to nothing but ash.

Riamsoth was feeling the new hour already. The wind began to push them out of formation. Riamsoth angled her wings in an attempt to stay where they were meant to be but it was to no avail. As they were pushed out of formation, Riamsoth huffed in annoyance and struggled to return. Finally she managed but she could feel the strain in her left wing.

As the wind wasn't dying down, Riamsoth fought even harder to stay in formation. They almost were pushed out but she was successful in staying. Riamsoth allowed her a moment to be proud of her small victory.
