SubonicXP Cera would immediately spot Darts at the far end of the dark and dusty former casino known as the Game Corner, his cheers more than enough to signal his location but also the blinking Starmie floating in front and slightly above him was another flag to his location. The Starmie would become aware of Cera’s arrival and would let out an otherworldly cry characteristic of its species, its core gem giving off a few quick blinks before it spun around on its axis and then began to rapidly rotate and fly off towards the nearby wall, Cera able to see it disappear into] the wall somehow. It was dark though. At that same moment Darts saw something much different. The high roller was about to be coming down hard as he had started to hit a really bad streak of luck that just didn’t seem to be letting up. Out of all his winnings and some he would certainly but irate by now and to make matters worse the house sicc’d one of their goons on him, no doubt to give him the business and pull him away from his machine. He was a hulking giant of a man with a mustache that would make anyone envious. Except not really. Who Darts saw as a meathead casino bouncer whose height dwarfed his own was actually the much smaller and way less physically intimidating Cera. The only thing that gave away the illusion was the bouncer’s pink hair. Darts leaps to his feet to put himself chest to chest with what he saw as an intimidating casino bouncer with a moustache and a bowler hat... as well as pink hair. Not put off by the iridescent 'do, the gambler puts himself nose to nose with the person seemingly intent on tossing him from this establishment. "Hey!" He says gruffly, sticking a golden finger in the 'bouncer's' chest, in reality just jabbing the Mew right in the middle of her own. "Keep your hands off me if you know what's good for you - I have every right to stay in this casino that I want. I'm good for the coin, just ask the Dragon Clan I can pay on credit..."
The hybrid was working himself up into a froth, wilder and wilder claims coming from him as he towered over the floating Cera. Her own senses would no doubt kick in at some point as azure blue outrage started flowing from beneath his jacket and into his muscles, sapphire fire indicating his use of Outrage as he continued to get worked up. No doubt about it he was spoiling for a fight and fast.

SubonicXP The collector scowled at the question, meeting Tristen’s gaze with a glare. His initial response was to continue to be confrontational and belligerent but not only was Tristen known to be a member of Team Snagem, which carried something of a reputation to back up his demands, but he was also a hybrid familiar to the Hoenn native so he didn’t have to guess what the teen was capable of. Getting shocked wasn’t fun. “Why do you care? Gonna put a stop to them? Ha!” The collector laughed, sarcastically. “I’ll tell you, but it won’t do you any good, Meowth’s out of the bag. You already know that though, don’t you?” He smiled at Tristen. “A game of whack-a-Diglett. Oh well, go ahead and waste your time and energy. Any who, the answer you want is Trainer Hill, that’s where I got it.” The man then proceeded to wring his shirt out, finding it the damp cold to be uncomfortable. “And that’s all I know so don’t bother with questions. I’m just a collector, I don’t care where they get the goods from or how, just as long as they end up with me I’m happy.”
Trainer Hill; Tristen can't say he's been there at any time. A battling facility on Route 111, he heard a mention or two about it in the past but generally was under the assumption that this place wasn't...really worth the time going to, especially when a hop-skip-jump away was the Battle Institute that does probably anything what it does, but better, and one cruise trip at worst more would bring one to the Hoenn Battle Frontier. Is that place still even running? It seems like it's a distribution center or a confined super spreader area to get Pokemon infected with the shadow virus.
The worst part to this whole thing is that this collector found the whole thing inconsequential. "...its a false happiness." Tristen said. "A collector? More like a fraud, especially when you are finding Shadow Pokemon a an okay thing. Trainers like you make me sick." To put a punctuation to this conversation, especially after that the collector wasn't going to answer any more questions, Tristen would Thunder Wave the collector, leaving him to be scooped up by law enforcement later. If nothing else, he'd have to answer for instigating chaos in the food court as he did with that Ralts.
With the deed done, he'd notice Sub showed up in here. If this was a major distribution center, he'd need more than just himself to go there. Tristen made his way back over to Sub. "I found out where at least some of these Pokemon are coming from."

“A Shadow Grimer? In the toilets of battle facilities? That doesn’t sound like it could be a coincidence, especially if this Crazy Dave was able to predict it.” Sub responded to Monique, pondering what all that meant. Something stunk, and it wasn’t the aforementioned Grimer. “You did? Where?” Sub asked Tristen as the boy approached and informed him that he had information on where the Shadow Pokemon were coming from. The boy would have time to explain to Sub where he found out, and Sub would take a moment to ponder it. Trainer Hill? That place shut down a long time ago. Before much else could be questioned and discussed a bright flash of light would go off and everyone would find the food court much brighter, and hotter, than it was before. Along with this renewed light and heat a few screams rung out and the smell of something burning wafts through the food court.
Snapping to attention, Sub begins to look around, noticing those few civilians left fleeing, and quickly discovers the source of the renewed panic in the form of a Shadow Castform in sunny form, lurling Fire type Weather Balls around the food court in anger, one of them flying straight at William. The Castform wasn’t the only Shadow Pokemon as he noted an Officer Jenny, who had arrived not long ago to help clean up and was in the process of taking the ‘Master Collector’ away, staving off a Shadow Zangoose with her Manectric, the canine trying its best to keep the creature at bay with long range moves.
“What is going on!?” Sub shouted. A Shadow Seviper would then spring up from behind some of the knocked over tables and try to make a go at him with Crunch, Sub managing to swing his backpack around in time to jam it in its mouth and wrestle the thing to the ground. Anteros would prepare to launch an attack to help its trainer but Sub would call out to it. “No! Get back!” He shouted at the Mimikyu as he continued to wrestle the Shadow Seviper, he had a feeling something was wrong and he didn’t want to risk his Pokemon, even though he himself as in a lot of danger, there was no way he, a human, was going to be able to hold off this snake for long without help. Where did these three Shadow Pokemon come from all the sudden?

The Ember would barely affect the Shadow Lunatone, the Rock type acting as if nothing happened. What did get a response out of it was the Mirror Coat which amplified and redirected some of its Shadow Wave back at it, the retaliatory attack sending it flipping backwards in midair a ways. The hit was followed up by another powerful blow in the form of a Shadow Ball, the blast sending the Shadow Lunatone further back as it slammed into a wall and fell through the counter, shattering the glass.
The store associate wasn't having that good of a time either as she was easily grappled and brought down to the ground by the much more physically capable Reno, though she wasn't exactly a bodybuilder herself, a fairly average urban woman selling ribbons wasn't much of a match for a half cyborg mountain dwelling man. However she would try to thrash around and sneer at Reno, even if it didn't do much.
"Wouldn't you like to know." She hissed at Reno. In the midst of the struggle she managed to snatch up an ebonite ribbon and wrapped it just enough around Reno's arm. It was then that Reno personally discovered it was no normal ribbon, that it possessed some type of technology as a surge of Dark energy began to flow into the Psychic Channeler. Clearly this was how they were blocking out Psychic intrusions to their minds but for Reno it would have a much more painful effect.
If and when Reno's gripped was loosen the wryly woman would rolling out from under him and scramble to her feet and attempt to make it to a door on the back wall to escape, calling out to her Pokemon to distract them as she fumbled with a keypad on the wall. "Shadow Panic!" She cried out.
The Shadow Lunatone would let out a pained cry as it rose back up into the air and unleashed an aura of shadow energy which rapidly flowed out from its body in all directions like a quick moving fog which passed through all things, including the protective energy screens. The Snagems, and any Pokemon, would then be subjected to feelings of crippling fear as the Shadow energy tried to worm its way into their minds and instill panic in them.
All the while the woman's reinforcements were coming, just a few more minutes and the Snagems will be boxed in. In fact, the three men that were on their way were coming down the hallway just outside the store, soon they would be here.

Brian looked at Monique as she and the others appeared, the female hybrid holding up a Pokeball. Ah, so she'd managed to capture one, as well. That was good, that meant two less Shadow Pokemon to deal with. Overhearing Tristen's words about where the Shadow Pokemon were coming from, he frowned. "Trainer Hill's always had a shady rep, even when they were up and running," he said. "I'm honestly not surprised they're coming from there, if that's the source."
Before he could say anything else, he saw three Shadow Pokemon, two of which looked like the Zangoose and the Seviper from earlier, appear from seemingly nowhere and start attacking. He barely dodged a Weather Ball from a Shadow Castform, looking around to see where he could help the most. Tristen was quick to go after the Seviper, which had pinned Sub, and it looked like Monique was after the Castform, and even Kazu was trying to help, going after the Zangoose. Realizing that Firebrand was still out of his ball, he turned to the Magmortar, who looked as determined as he felt.
"Firebrand, go help Espurr with that Zangoose!" he said. "Use Flamethrower on it, try to keep it away from Officer Jenny and Manectric!" The Magmortar nodded and moved until he was standing next to Kazu's Espurr and firing off a Flamethrower, attempting to fire it in between the Zangoose and its target and hopefully get it to back off so that Officer Jenny could get away.

Seeing that the attack did nothing, and hearing someone coming, Deo thought quick. He knew that this was an indoor structure that had flammable clothing, he then saw the sprinklers. "Rex! Light the sprinklers!" As Rex heard that, he then used ember on the sprinkler above the shadow Pokémon. While this was happening, Deo used his X-Ray vision to see how many people and if they were friendlies or hostiles. Then the panic hit, Rex hit the floor in a heart beat. Deo hit the ground hard, remembering how it felt. Memories washed in on how he was tortured, the torture.... how it came back, the shock of the energy and the waves of pain that enveloped him. He felt the hair replacing his skin, the bones and muscle structure growing in absolute pain.. how his face deform and become a hybrid. How his voice deepened and the strength flowed through him and the attempts to probe his mind to make him a warrior, a super soldier. Then it stopped, he was in a fetal position on the ground and his Charmander was right beside him.

Reno had just enough time to utter a quick "Oh hell" before the ribbon took effect on him. And while the sudden surge of Dark energy directly into his system was painful and would've been enough for the store associate to squirm off, this had a slightly more catastrophic effect on Reno. As the ribbon wrapped around his right arm, his right leg and left arm would immediately stiffen straight and become unresponsive, the weights dragging Reno even further off. Struggling with the two useless limbs in an effort to try and get to his feet to pursue, the result would end up more newborn Girafirig than anything else. But he would continue to try, limbs moving more and more erratically as panic began to set in over the pair of useless weights he was now trapped by, He had to, needed to get out of this at any cost possible. And in his mind, there was only one way to get this to work. Scrambling over the arm, Reno would punch the emergency release on the mechanical apparatus, grab the thing by the shoulder, and hurl the thing forward away from himself in an effort to get some ability to at least get his chest off the ground. Said hurling would send the metal limb careening towards where the store associate was attempting to escape from, although not precisely aimed as much as she happened to be in the way of a very panicked side arm toss.
Retrieving herself from the cabinet she had crashed into from the recoil on that Shadow Wave, Harleen would attempt to spring into action to aid Reno when she suddenly just....lost him. She could still see him but he was just simply gone. And with how he was beginning to thrash around to deal with whatever had severed their connection, she didn't see any way to help out there. And there was still a Shadow Lunatone up and active, and only one other person that seemed cognizant enough at the moment to do anything. Dashing over to Crystal, the Wynaut would begin to tug at the hybrid's Snag Machine for a few moments before turning towards the Lunatone and charging forward to try and tackle into the Pokemon's giant eye as a distraction. And as she turned into a small missile, a thought would cross Harleen's mind. 'Why didn't I use telepathy? Or do anything smarter than this? WHAT DID THIS MIST DO TO ME!?!' This was the last thought before Harleen would impact the Lunatone with all the weight of a small teddy bear thrown by a toddler.

Cera didn't have to search long to find where Darts was, and certainly didn't need to hunt for him mentally anymore. She also didn't have to search long to sort out why his mental presence had felt duller than usual, noticing the Starmie and scrambling to either get a ball to let a Pokemon out for help or get an empty one to toss at them and stem what she could only assume was a hypnotic trance. By the time she was ready to try and do something, though, the Starmie had phased into the wall and away from her reach. That would quickly prove to be the least of her worries when Darts suddenly stood up and practically had his chest against hers, jabbed by his finger shortly after.
"Wait, I don't know what you're seeing right now, but I've got no reason to fight... you..." Her voice trailed when the increasingly outlandish claims made it clear she wasn't going to get through to him easily. Even transformed, the energy building up alongside Darts' wrath was easily felt and the sapphire lighting provided from the flames illuminated a look of fear on her face. Or maybe a scowl with whatever he was seeing.
"Uh oh."
Up close was the last place she wanted to be, knowing she had no hope of winning any sort of exchange whether she reverted back or not. So she ran, not wanting an Outrage-powered punch to be suddenly added to her agenda for the day.
She took to the nearby counter and jumped toget behind it, seeing all manner of coins and prizes that had been given the destiny of collecting dust. Briefly popping up over the counter with a fistful of coins in one hand and an orange TM disc in the other- she couldn't be bothered to discern which it was with the dim lighting, probably some Fire move or something- she'd hurl one after the other at Darts and start levitating a few more of both for easy reach. "I don't suppose we can talk this out over some free coins and not punching me in the face?"

Where did these three Shadow Pokemon come from all the sudden?
Lykas felt the Shadow energy's sudden return before he saw the Pokemon but, unfortunately, it seemed to have been such a short gap between the onset of the Shadow Virus' effects on him and the attack that he momentarily though he was just annoyed that this wasn't over already.
When he attacks suddenly came out of nowhere, he'd reach for his Master Ball first before remembering that Delmare wasn't immune to the virus like Cera was. The last thing he wanted was to have a Shadowfied legendary Pokemon without enough of his own Pokemon immune to the virus to help reign him back in. So he opted for one of the three he'd brought along that were already either immune or actively working toward recovery.
So he's toss out Chinami's ball once more. "Take care of that Zangoose with Razor Shell!" He'd direct the Shadow Dewott before splitting his Ponytail apart and winding them around the attacking Seviper and utilizing Wring Out, white energy engulfing his tentacles as they tightened around the serpent's body. "Let's see how this ugly ~/~ likes being squeezed..." He quipped to Sub, wondering quietly how he'd managed to not only avoid all the attacks flying around and also not lose his footing simply from the sudden outbreak of complete chaos.
Chinami dashed toward the Zangoose that Officer Jenny was struggling with, drawing one of her scalchops and fanning out the water energy needed to form her battle fans, slashing at the cat ferret Pokemon as soon as it was in range.

Magmar would begin to pull the Seviper off of Sub and while it was only a matter of time before the Fire type snatched it completely off him it was giving more of a struggle than expected as the Shadow Pokemon was suffering from tunnel vision and wanted nothing more than to take a bite out of Sub. While Magmar bought Sub precious seconds if Seviper was allowed a few more moments it would get its wish. That was when an Energy Ball came flying and blasted it in the head. While it wasn’t enough to really hurt it and for a second it looked like it would turn around to attack Magmar but then Lykas came in with the assist and helped Magmar pull the creature off and take it into his own tentacles, squeezing it tight.. Now free Sub would pull his tatter backpack to his chest and fumble around in it, looking for a scent.
“Not much I assume. Now- Anteros!” Sub shouted as his Mimikyu flung itself off the ground and towards the ensnared Seviper, a Shadow Claw ready to rack the Shadow Pokemon as it flailed around in Lykas’s grip. Anteros was fueled completely in revenge for this creature hurting his beloved trainer and no longer could he sit back and do nothing, but the problem was Anteros was not purified and getting this close was trouble. Sub had just plugged a Vivid Scent into his Snag Machine when Anteros made his move but did not have enough time to turn it on and make sure Anteros was in the range of the Immunizer so he did the next best thing and activated the function and threw it towards Lykas, the protective bubble of energy following the Snag Machine in the air, arriving just soon enough to cover Anteros as he slashed the Shadow Seviper with Shadow Claw.
Seviper would finally free itself from Lykas’s grip and smack Anteros away with its Poison Tail before turning its attention on Lykas, springing off the ground and ramming into his chest with a powerful Shadow Rush.
The Shadow Castform would get smacked by the rotating bone once, glare at Marowak for a split second, and get smacked with it a second time, the Super Effective move doing a nasty chunk of damage to it. With a chilling cry it would conjure up a Hurricane, not only bombarding Marowak with fierce winds but also sending some of the still burning tables and chairs in the general direction of the Snagems, mainly in the direction of Tristen and William.
With officer Jenny things looked bleak for her before a concurrent wave of Psychic energy hit the Shadow Zangoose causing to reel and stumble back in pain. Before it had an opportunity to counter attack a Flamethrower engulfed it causing the Shadow Pokemon letting out a pained cry. The Shadow Pokemon however would prove incredibly tenacious as it came charging out of the fire with a Quick Attack, slashing at Espurr along the way and making a u-shape turn before throwing itself into a Shadow Blitz to ram into Firebrand. “Watch out!” Officer Jenny cried out as he Manetric fired off a Thunderbolt but was unsure it would make it in time.
