spaceEcho didn't notice Kaitlyn for a long while, since he as focused on watching the Seekers. Once he did, he cursed under his breath, annoyed that he'd missed her arrival. The seventh year made his way down to her, shaking his head apologetically. "Kaitlyn, hey! Sorry I didn't see you get here." He took the younger girl's form, looked it over briefly, and once again whistled loudly to get the attention of Timothy and his group. Once they'd stopped in their practice, he took a second to think on his options. After a moment, he'd made a decision. He got the attention of the Seekers then as well, waiting until the whole team was with him. "Okay, uh, since we've got another new arrival, and enough players, I'm going to split us into teams and play a proper game. Everyone'll be playing now, including me. Uh. So." Quickly, he assigned the teams in his head, trying to work out what would make the most sense. "Okay. Blue team'll be myself and Dylan for chaser, Eugene for keeper, Eli for beater, and Indie for Seeker. Bronze'll be Benjamin and Kaitlyn, Timothy, Lola, and Lexine."
spaceHe handed out healing potions to everyone who needed them from the beater's hits, then waited until everyone was in position. He figured he'd do he toss-up himself and let Dylan try to get the Quaffle first. Once the ball was in the air, he was on his broom, watching. He really wasn't worried about getting overly involved, was mostly just there for support. Dylan was a decent player, but he was still up against two. Of course, he was the only one who'd regularly been a first-string player; from an outside perspective, it might look like he'd sort of weighted the teams to his own advantage, but the truth was, he was still going to be mostly watching. Besides, he'd placed himself and Dylan against Timothy's keeping abilities. Not to mention that Lexine was chaser for the bronze team.

Another night at the Copper Coin Right before Benjamin threw the ball, Echo called them down once more. He let his Firebolt down gently--the one Xavier had given him last year--and hopped off. He stretched his arms out, listening to Echo as they went about a team change. He nodded as he informed them all of it, knowing that he'd have a bit of better luck with Echo on his team. After they were all stretched up, Dylan pushed up and off into the air, going for the quaffle quickly.OOC: Position: Chaser

⊗⊗⊗⊗⊗ Benjamin was in the middle of a shot when the whistle blew. So, when he heard, he kind of pulled up a little bit and the shot went haywire to nowhere. Laughing as it happened, he watched the ball fly practically straight down because the fact that he held onto it because he knew when the whistle blew the play was over. Instantly looking down at where it landed, he floated over to it and picked it up, bringing it to where Echo had calling them and dropped it onto the ground next to the group.
Benjamin, who listened to Echo's instructions carefully, and upon hearing Eli was switching teams, he gave the smallest of deep breaths. Eli was a much better beater than the other girl, but that just meant he would have to be a little more on his toes. He felt like he was up to the task at least.
