  Location: Quidditch Pitch (Try-outs) Alice skipped onto the field knowing Jasper was following behind her. With a bright smile the fifth year went over and grabbed a form. Filling it out like she always did Alice couldn't wait to get on the field. She knew that come next year she'd be the seeker for the team. That was something she worried about but at least she had experience being the seeker who helped Jess at try-outs. Not that she needed any help, after all she was really good.  Location: Location: Quidditch Pitch (Try-outs) Jasper following behind Alice wondered how try-outs would turn out. He wasn't sure if he'd get a spot on the team or not but he hoped so. It was the only place that made the most sense. Not that he'd be doing it for the rest of his life but he wanted to enjoy himself. Come next year he'd want on the team just to protect Alice. Being Seeker made her a target for Beaters which Jasper of course understood. Walking over and grabbing a form he filled it out the same way he usually did, beater first anything else second. Maybe this year they'd win the Quidditch cup and get out of their lull. Elsie had been making it a priority to be on time to tryouts, practices, and games since she was appointed vice captain. Still, she wasn't quite as early as she'd have liked. Corabell was present of course, along the Lancasters and a first year with an eye patch. Next year she'd be in charge of the whole team, so she needed to be visible as someone they could count on. She smiled at everyone as she took a form, then set about filling it out.

Jess supposed it was starting to sink in that this was her final year on the team. After she was gone, she supposed Alice would take over as Seeker. At least that left the position in capable hands. Still, she wasn't planning on going into quidditch competitively, so this would it. She was really going to miss the sport, even if she'd cried over it before. That thrill when she was this close to the snitch... there wasn't much like it. She grabbed a form to fill out, humming to herself.

 Lives: {❤} {❤} {❤} Modifiers: SAME AS ABOVE : Chaser Currently: XXXXXX Posts to Goal: XXXX/3 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cathy skipped onto the field happily ready for another year of quidditch. She loved flying and being a chaser especially. In no way did she think she was the strongest player they had, or not yet, but she still knew she could do her part to help her team. And flying was one of those things that was addicting and so freeing. It was one of the best parts of being a witch and magic. She picked up a paper from the Captain and flashed a smile at her other teammates and the new first year and quickly wrote down her information. Maybe this year they could actually even win the quidditch cup! It would be great if they did, especially since their seeker was graduating this year. Iris walked down to the field, hair pulled back into a no-nonsense french braid, broom over her shoulder. Her eyes flitted over familiar faces, pausing as she saw one new student. Her expression flattened a bit as she also noticed that Jasper was the only beater on the field. Her eyes flicked back to the new boy, and her gut clenched. Oh no. She set her jaw, and glanced at the try out form. Then she looked over at Elsie and Cathy. Sucking a deep breath through her nose, she screwed up her courage, wrote in her position choices, and turned the paper in before she could second guess herself.

Along with Jess and Corabell. That meant that the others would need to try really hard to keep up the good work. And in all his years here on this pitch... Well he couldn't wait now could he. He looked around as he came up on the pitch. Noticing one newbie and Jasper, Jasper was a good kid, and so were the rest of them. But with only one newbie? Didn't look too promising.... "ALright guys. Let's make this year as spectacular as all the others." He said with encouragement as his goal. He took a form and filled it out before handing it back to Corabell.

It seemed that various people had already made their way to this location. Many looked older than her and some seemed to be her age.....at least that is what she could see for the moment. Keeper and Quidditch Captain~Half-Blood Corabell gathered the forms and flipped through them. A smile touched her lips at the last one. "Okay, looks like we have a few new hopefuls joining us this year. Let's break up into teams, and see what you've got." Shuffling the papers, she nodded, then tucked them in the ball box. "Yellow team: Alice as Seeker, Cathy and Nicole as Chasers, Jasper as Beater, I'll be Keeper.
"Black team: Layton as Seeker, Elsie and Iris as Chasers, Raphael as Beater, Emily as Keeper.
"Jess, we've got an odd number this time around, so lucky you, you get targeted by BOTH beaters as you look for the snitch." Corabell checked to make sure all the players seemed to know their teams, and prepared to start the try-outs. "On your brooms! Ready? Go!" She tossed the quaffle high, released the snitch and one of the bludgers, and headed for her goal, watching to see how the players did.  XXXXXXXX Harper walked out toward the Quidditch pitch, smile firm on her face. She was feeling confident and more than a little excited. She knew that her chance weren't huge, after all she was a first year, but she figured it couldn't hurt to come out and give it a try. She loved the idea of flying, she just wasn't sure how good she really would be. It was certainly worth a shot and she really wanted to be on the team, just like all her siblings had been, she was a legacy child. She held her hands tightly together, pushing away any nervousness she might have. She could do this, she was sure of it. She smiled brightly looking at all those who had gathered making sure they knew she was friendly. She didn't want to give anyone the wrong idea because you couldn't make friends if people didn't like you, it was as simple as that.
