Holiday or something?
I won't have another day out till May 26th but since I do have homebond, I can miss school and have it not count against me but that's only if I have an anexity attack.

Uhm... how to explain.... everyone has the day of on first of may it's what we call a red day, and first of may has alway been the day for workers to go out on demonstration marches has been like that for about 100 years...

well we have it every year... and now days it's not only the workers, but still, the history of it is kinda interesting...
I think one of the first things back in the days was 10 hour workdays and stuf like that...

Goddess Ace Ooh, yeah - the US has something like that going on today. Big protest today with imigrant workers. Actually, it's not so much immigrant workers...if the issue were that easy it wouldn't be such a hot topic. The issue is that the people want rights for ILLEGAL immigrants. They want to be able to work and vote and get welfare. They want driver's licenses and social security cards and Medicare benefits. I'm all for immigration. I'm all for welcoming people into the US. LEGALLY. Deport the illegals unless they're willing to go back and return by LEGAL means. *gets off her soap box and kinda slinks away*

Since our population is about 70% Hispanic. Thousands of Students and Workers walked out of their jobs/classes in protest. I'm all for immigration but not when it steals jobs away from decent hardworking americans just beacuse they can pay an Illegal half as much.
