o ya the movie you are talking about shaz.. its called "the wizard" The Wizard was a movie that represented the dream of every kid during that time: to be publicly recognized as the greatest NES game player on earth. It also represents the pinnacle of Fred Savage's movie career. Sure, he starred in the brilliantly written opus "Little Monsters, but it just doesn't compare to "The Wizard". Be sure to keep an eye out for a young Christian Slater as "Nick" in the film too. The Wizard also proved just how strong of a grasp that Nintendo had on us. When they could make us buy tickets to a movie that was basically one giant advertisement for their products, it was pretty obvious they had us by the Goombas.
Fred and his little brother (the one who has the l33t g@me sk1llz) set out on a journey to the West Coast to compete against all the other video gamers. I think this movie is subliminally responsible for my strong desire to relocate out West. But that might be because I think there's a chance I'd meet "Lucas", the badass who wore his mighty Power Glove with pride. I'm still hoping for a director's cut DVD release of "The Wizard" in which Lucas goes absolutely haywire and bludgeons all the other puny competitors to death with his Power Glove. Hey, I can dream can't I?

lol man i love playing my nentendo still i have one of them Game Genie's! let's be honest here... as fun as it is to beat a game on your own, sometimes you just feel like ******** around in a game with all of the upgrades you can possibly get. That's pretty much what the Game Genie was for. Simply snap it on to any of your games and let it go to work. When you think about it, it's more or less a strap-on for your video games to ******** the NES with. Gotta love the sexual innuendo of this fine little device.
