"Got a camera? I'll take pictures for when we come back. Assuming you want to see our magnificent works of snow art." Adrian said getting his coat while he waited for Calista to get ready.

"Sure, just a sec." Amaya said, disappearing for a moment. She came back a minute later, putting a camera in his hand. "Don't break it." She joked, kissing him before she walked off down the hall, waving over her shoulder to him. She wanted to take a shower and get clean before she had to work on her book.
Calista came scurrying out of her room after a few minutes, pulling on her winter clothes still as she walked into the living room. "I'm ready to go!" She announced, pulling her hat on last as she grinned up at Adrian.

"Alright, ready to ride Air Adrian?" Adrian asked with a grin as he slipped the camera in his pocket before kneeling down and spreading his wings slightly, giving Calista room to climb up on his back and sit on his shoulders.

"Don't break her either!" Amaya called from the bedroom, having heard Adrian and worrying slightly now.
"Bye bye mommy!" Calista called, crawling up onto Adrian's back a moment later, hanging onto him tightly.

"Who do you think you're talking to? You worry too much, I'm not gonna break her!" Adrian called back as he stepped out of the apartment. "Now hang on tight, okay? Things might get a little windy up there." he said turning his eyes up in an attempt to look up at Calista as he held on to her feet. "You are free to think of my horns as a steering mechanism if you so wish." he said with a smile as he stretched his wings fully, flapping them a few times as he prepared to take off.

Calista nodded, holding on to Adrian's horns, now a little nervous as they looked over the ledge.

"Don't worry, so long as you hold on tight, I promise you're not gonna fall." Adrian assured her before lifting off into the sky. Thankfully he could see the park once he got high enough.

The little girl nodded once again, practically clinging to him for dear life when they got in the air. "We're really high." She observed nervously, her grip on him tightening as she looked down.

"Yep. But I like to think of it as my own little world. Nothing but clouds above, birds beside me, and everyone that would give me the stink eye is stuck on the ground. Unless I'm bringing someone with me, like you or Amaya, or another mutate's flying around, I'm the only one that gets to enjoy the view. It's even better in the warmer seasons when I've had birds flying with me for a while." Adrian said with a smile as he flew towards the park, trying not to go too high freak her out.

"It sounds lonely to me." Calista said with a small frown. She liked being around people, but up in the air it was just you and whatever bird or object happened to pass you.

"Yeah, I guess you've got a point there...I guess it sounded better when I was alone. Much nicer being able to bring someone with me." Adrian said as they neared the park, soon touching down in an open, snow-covered area where he squatted down to let Calista off.

Calista hopped off and immediately fell to the ground, rolling in the snow for a moment before she began making a snow angel, giggling wildly.

"I bet I'll make a prettier snow angel than you!" Adrian said with a grin as he let himself fall into the snow, his head by hers, and stretching his wings as far as they'd go before making an imprint in the snow.

"No fair! You got wings!" Calista shouted as she jumped up and shook the snow off her.

"Alright! Alright! I'll make another, honest snow angel!" Adrian laughed as he got up and found another spot to lie down, trying to keep his wings out of the way this time.
