...If I recall correctly, it stands for Random Access Memory. It's what controls (within reason) how quickly your computer can do day-to-day tasks. They make RAM chips up to 1 gigabyte for everyday use now; mine currently (with both the built-in and the one additional stick, which is going to be shortly changed out) has 256 megabytes.) ^_^

* For those of you watching at home without the aid of translation services, Eien the Wet, the merman pirate, has just announced his intent to sign off for a while, finding it preferable to his mangled accent, in order to stop the fox Sanzo's swearing. This is BBC.
EDIT: And now this update: in response, Sanzo the Fox has also declared that if Eien the Wet doesn't stop his heavily accented speech, she, too, shall leave for the time being. Stay tuned for further updates.
