i think its about ******** time that mainstream america knows about the military's evil little racket. to tell a soldier who's ALREADY SERVED HIS TIME that their contract is being extended REGARDLESS of how that soldier feels is about as close to slavery or at the very least indentured servitude that i've heard of in a long time.

angel was almost stop loss'ed. crying if he'd stuck around only two weeks more he would've been trapped...it happened to the whole rest of his platoon. sweatdrop

i think they just started showing previews for it.

its from mtvfilms and seems like it might actually be a decent movie. 3nodding they're even looking @ it from both perspectives, the main character is PISSED about being stop loss'ed and fights it, and the other guy is pissed @ the main character for "not wanting to serve his country" and blah blah blah.

i'm just glad SOMEONE made a movie about it because no one outside military circles has ever heard of it by and large. sweatdrop

But as soon as all my trades come through I'm changing my password to something I'll never remember so that I can't come back.

I wasn't going to tell any of you in the guild until after the fact, because I've been talked out of it before. Don't try to talk me out of it...it'll just make things harder for me.

This guild has been great fun, a sanctuary when real life has gotten me down. But real life calls now. I've tried to balance college and Gaia, but it hasn't worked. I need to work harder. I'll never forget any of you.
