Aoife smiled sadly, for some reasonknew he was a little upset. "If you want to stop..." She offered.

He shook his head and smiled. "Nah, its alright." He floated on the water belly up, letting the sun shine on his stomach and chest.

She looked down at him and watched her hair clinging to the sides of her face and falling to float on the water. Her skin seeming almost as white as a china dolls. She tilted her head and smiled. "Okay." She sank in deeper until the water covered her chest and shoulders.

SilentShadowDreamer Katalina watched Joshua. She'd liked him before, but she thought even better of him after seeing how gently he handled the little creature. She crossed her fingers, hoping that the older, more cautious undines also thought well of him for this, and would accept him for who he was. Even though he was human, there were things they could learn, just like him. Nellie giggled and bounced up and down. "JoshuaJosh!" It was something like a two-year-old squealing at the top of its lungs. Katalina hoped wryly that not all the undine youngsters were as excitable as this one. "You visit us? Say hihi?" the nymph continued at approximately the speed of light. "Mamamamama! Say hihi!"Cautiously, a larger undine approached, examining Joshua through very dark blue eyes. She said nothing, only watched, as though expecting him to make the first move. Joshua couldn't keep the smile off his face. Nellie was just so enchanting. "Yes, yes. That's why I'm here. To visit and say hello." He answered her. He looked up at the older undine, then back to Nellie. "Is this your mother?" His gaze flickered to Katalina. Surely she would tell him if he did something wrong. Back to the older undine went his attention. Joshua smiled at her. "Hello. My name is Joshua." His mental voice was slightly unsure as to if he was doing this right. Nellie had started the connection to him, so it was understandable that he wasn't sure of the others.

Joey turned his head slightly and looked at Aoife. He smiled at her. In truth, he hadn't had this much fun in years. Ever since he lost his parents, in fact. It felt good to be able to smile again.

Aoife watched. He'd become really relaxed and was now moving rhythimically with the waves. She smiled. "You look better now then some of the people with squinty eyes and puffy cheeks." She mimicked the look which truely looked like she was about to hold her breath and closed her eyes. Much like an untrained swimmer would do. But it was a comical look none-the-less.

Joey snorted and burst out laughing. He rolled and was upright again, laughing his a** off. He eventually stopped and grinned at her. "Ah, now that was funny."

Joey smiled. "Really. Though, you may want to work on you speaking before becoming a comedian." He joked.

Joey paused and remembered where she came from. "A comedian is someone who makes people laugh for a living."

Joey looked her in the eyes. "You can, if you tried. My mother used to say 'You can do anything, as long as you try and it doesn't last forever'." He made sure to not let the mentioning of his mother bring him down this time. He smiled.

Joey laughed. "No, but if anyone could think of seeing one, it would be her." He kept the pain off of his face, though it showed in his eyes. He looked away and began to float on the water on his back again.
