Did a lab in chemistry today with magnesium and water. We weren't supposed to look at the hot magnesium...annoyed our chemistry teacher asking how we were supposed to do the lab without looking at the magnesium.
Oooh...and we read The Lottery today. I am scarred for life, I swear.

I did that experiment, too. 3nodding I liked chemistry when we were doing labs. The rest was pretty boring, though. I'm more of an arts student.

I don't mind the labs. But our chem teacher is more of the learn-it-straight-from-the-book type. We do lots of practice problems and such. We have done maybe five experiments myself.
And I am more of an arts student as well. Music, mostly (I'm in band), followed by drama, and then writing. I would draw or paint, but I have no talent in those areas.

Actually, I am good at math. I'm an honors student. I just prefer all the creative classes.

I was an honours student, too. blaugh Sad, really. Math certainly took a huge chunk out of my average every year.
Then again, I passed art with a 52%, too. But it didn't count towards my average, since I already had a fine arts credit.

Like I said, I am in band. I don't think its actually possible to fail band. But I play three instruments, and rather well (ah, the vanity mrgreen ), so I do better than most.
