Joey glanced at her. She was relaxed compared to his habitual tension. He looked back at the sky and closed his eyes. His head tilted back just a bit as a slight wind picked up, ruffling his clothes and hair. His whole body seemed to relax, as if the wind had blown away all his worries. His mind soared.

Aoife turned. "What is life like on land?" She said turning around and staring at the land as if it was an amazing wonder.

Joey opened his eyes and glanced at the beach. "It is...well, it depends on where you are and how you live your life. Sometimes, life on land just sucks. Sometimes, you just don't want to be where you are. Sometimes, it is great." He shrugged.

Joey thought for a second, trying to explain so she could understand. He had, after all, a relatively bad life on land.

Joey nodded. He knew the feeling. "Well, my life on land has basically been the same: boring and repetitive. Most of my interesting experiences have been in the ocean."

Joey gave her a curious look. "Oh? Like what?" For him, anything that had to do with land wasn't very interesting.

She blushed. "Well... I've met you." Then as if an after thought, "And I've seen so many wonderful human things."

Joey blushed as well. He had never in his whole life considered himself interesting. He looked away. "Some things are indeed wonderful." He looked at her again, most of his blush gone.
