It's been years since I've had any. No one in my immediate family hunts anymore. And, well, I don't really eat meat anymore.

I grew up surrounded by blueberry fields and cattle farms. sweatdrop Seeing the meat isn't too bad; constantly seeing what it used to be is kinda ...eww.

My parents and sister all grew up around cows.

heh, it's not so bad...I mean, at least the pay is great
but the blood...at least we don't do what the stores used to do way back when, when they had the whole cow just sitting in the back, and then cutting off what they need
Mollie Stone's still does that with their lamb...
and to think no one has called the SPCA on them yet...

I hate eating lamb, I am a vegetarian only in that I won't eat baby things. Veal and lamb are out, yuck XP

By "cutting off what you need" I'm referring to the different cuts of meat, like the loin, for New Yorks, or the tenderloin for Fillet Mignon, etc etc
and yus, the Lamb is alive when they first bring it in...after that, no more lamb...
Edit: why do you think they call us "butchers"? ^_^
