Ciel Avec Cafeine I don't think she spoke English. confused And the last Japanese candies I had were disgusting. My grandmother always had them in the house, I think they were partly prunes or something. Maybe they were just old-folks' candy, I don't know. You haven't had fruit gummies. They are really good, similar consistency to fruit snacks and loaded with vitamin C. I'd say they taste better too. Only thing is at the store I went to everything is kind of costly because most of the good are imports you won't see in other stores. They had fres seafood! Meaning they had seafood that was alive that you can go buy and kill and cook. The lobsters were cute as were the crabs.

@Ciel, I'll try any candy, though I won't necessarily like all of it
@Celestial O_o I am so glad I stopped eating public school cafeteria food a long time ago
@Supreme, its actually fun to play with the tentacle part, having part hanging out of your mouth and all that

Sanzo, I could name several other worse incidents involving school food, but I'd rather not make someone vomit...

They certainly have to be better than the things I tried. gonk My grandmother was my only connection to Japanese food, and her tastes were a bit...eccentric? As for the seafood, I grew up in a fishing town/village (I consider it a town; 1300 people isn't really a village), so I've had my fill of fresh seafood. xp Lobsters are nice, I wouldn't mind having one in my fishtank eventually.
