TheBlueWarrior Awiergan Retribution ._. I want summer to be over so I can go back to school. Work fails. Have you tried getting a job in your field of study? Like maybe an internship? I'll do that another year. Only a month of summer left. Besides, it's not the study I care about going back for, it's the people. I don't know anyone or anything to do around here. Plus I constantly have to tolerate Mum and Dad monitoring me.

But I want my life back.
I also want to randomly run up to someone on the street and slit their throat with a boxcutter, but that might have negative repercussions.
So I'll settle on demanding my life back, at least for now. It's been too long since I've seen any of my friends.
I also miss urban exploring; it's not something you want to do by yourself.
I especially miss the anime club, even if they were even weirder than myself.
I've actually got a ton of vidya games to play that I haven't even started on. I just get bored if that's all I do. Sometimes you have to balance yourself.

bluegrass cat Iconised Ghost bluegrass cat Iconised Ghost lol xd i was kinda the same in my undergrad, but this year for postgrad its quite competitive so i thought i should actually put a bit of effort into it mrgreen thanks egga heart omg i hated all that competition! idk why all that s**t has to be so exclusive...its kind of like an evil bait and switch, ya know? its like they say "yes, come and educate yourself! try as hard as you can! work yourself into the ground to get this degree to score that job of your dreams!" and then, you just need that LAST LITTLE BIT and its all "oh, too bad! there are five hyper-geniuses and they've taken all the space in the program! boo-hoo! you just wasted four years of your life! congrats!" sweatdrop actually, that sort of thing JUST HAPPENED to a friend of mine's little sister. crying lol i know what you mean! i dont think they worry about making the results a nice spread at post grad anymore, but there are limited places for the internship at the end of the year, which makes it more competitive. i chose health psych instead of clinical psych because i thought it would be less competitive, but it seems to be just the same. Every one sucking up and kissing a**...i hate people who do that evil just because they cant let their work speak for itself oh i know! and the worst part is, usually you CAN'T just let your work speak for itself! idk what happened, but somewhere along the line professors got a little TOO happy about people kissing up to them. confused i understand that most of them have incredibly over-inflated egos to begin with and are megalomaniacs, but jesus. its just getting completely out of hand! yup it definately is getting out of hand. Im just glad that i know of a few in my area that are a lot more grounded, and kinda see straight through that sort of behaviour. Its ridiculous though, it got to the point this semester that i didnt want to do ym course work at uni in case someone started to look at it or ask me questions about my sources to try and freak me out crying made me wanna cry. Im not a competitive person sad
