I had a theory that muffin was kind of like jesus.... neither of his 'parents' remembered a situation where he could have possibly been concieved, and hell Sanzo doesn't even remember him being born, but he's there.
Only in this case, God is like Slim and to a lesser degree, us. And he doesn't have jesus powers.
(I have to go eat dinner now, guys. I'll see you in a few minutes.)
