It's sort of funny... When I first started out with thinking about what I was going to write about for my essay, I knew I wanted to cover some of the marriages that were often intrepreted as not being love-match marriages... and claim that love did exist. Originally I planned on covering three marriages - Collins and Charlotte, Lydia and Wickham, and Mr. & Mrs. Bennet.
Then as I started collecting information, I decided to drop Mr. and Mrs. Bennet since there wasn't enough evidence for their marriage to support the claim that there marriage was a love-matched one.
Then as I started writing the rough draft essay for just Collins and Charlotte and ended up with about 4 pages of text, I realized I wouldn't be able to cover Lydia and Wickham.
Yesterday during the workshop I decided to drop Lydia and Wickham and simply focus on Collins and Charlotte. Especially when I started looking over the quotes I had picked out for L&W and realized how hard it was going to convince that love existed in their marriage.

In the end, I'm content with the decision I made. 3nodding

*continues working on her essay*
Still need to get more quotes from some of the critical essay though. I'll find some after I'm done working with the text quotes.

Alright... finished revising the essay with just the text quotes. Now it's time to look for some quotes from the critical essays (and possibly from Jane Austen in Context, as well) to use in my essay.

Hopefully with the quotes from the critical essays and what not will help me reach the 6 page mark. Right now I only have 5 pages. whee

Hmm... it looks like I might have to put in some more thoughts into my essay... or try to explain things a bit more. I'll do that later. I think I've spent enough time working on my essay for today.

Aw... poor Crystal.
Ellen brought up the subject about Crystal and her boyfriend that she had. Apparently the morning (or was night? Whatever... you get the idea) before the finale, the boyfriend broke up with Crystal.
