Angie moo Awiergan Retribution I just watched Metropolis (the 2001 anime movie), and I must say. That was the most mediocre and bland thing I've seen in quite a while. For something with such beautiful art, there really managed to dullify absolutely everything. It was like the animatrix with less plot. Wow I thought Metropolis was a very sad movie though the plot did confuse me a little in the middle I thought iit did great. *nods* If you have the time you should check out "Paprika" its like if paranoid agent, and fooly cooly had a b*****d child. I've already seen all of Satoshi Kon's movies (and own DVD's of several). Paprika was good, but not as good as Perfect Blue.

The original Metropolis was more of a trip than the anime, I think. Not as much as Excel Saga, but a silent movie can only do so much.

Haven't seen the original, mostly because I'm not big on silence. Which is kind of sad, considering I've seen most influential cyberpunk films... and a great deal of not-so-original cyberpunk films. . . And then a great deal of them that were just plain s**t.
Excel Saga was a bit too A.D.D. for me; I couldn't sit through the whole thing.

And gore.. gore/violence is always good..

A pop star and actress who gets so obsessed with how people who perceive her that she loses her own identity, eventually believing that she's living the life of the serial killer that she plays in a drama, eventually driving her insane. I've got over 50 series on my computer alone.

There aren't nearly enough girl/girl shows out there. It's a travesty of justice, I say. A travesty!
I like the word "travesty." It reminds me of the hunt! (Is it any wonder I enjoyed the ADD that is Excel Saga?)
