i think, that if you offer to take someone out to dinner, then you are implying that you are paying. But if its just a general kinda joint thing, then it shouldnt really matter who pays, my bf and i dont keep tabs and it generally works out about even. If he pays for something like lunch when we go out with friends, then i'll buy us both dessert later or whatever. both people should be independent and dependable, not just the guy.

not really i actually like paying...and he doesnt have a job most of the time but when he does i almost never make him pay unless for some reason he really wants to...but...i kinda wear the pants in the relationship anyways
