The pretty little filly stamped out from behind her mother, a snort of laughter echoing through the room. She wasn't entirely sure what that thing was that had made that sound, but she knew it scared her brother, when it was harmless.
She sauntered forward slightly, pushing her nose up against his, slightly turning her head to the side as she stared deep into the eyes of her brother. Then a rather amused, soft giggle broke out of her lips and she pushed at his nose, walking past.
She didn't know the brown stallion well, but she knew he was around and had.. some sort of importance. What it was, she wasn't sure, but all of a sudden - he looked really sad! She sat down slowly at his side, tucking her legs under her, so close she could feel his heart beating against her tiny body. Then she lay her head on his shoulder, eyes slightly lulling. When did she get so sleepy?

Rikka watched the twins beginning to slow in their actions. Perhaps they had worked themselves to much today? After all, this was the first day they were using their legs, and coming out of the basket. She watched Intrepid lower himself to the ground, and then Shai followed soon afterwards. Like father, like daughter?
A small smile crept up to her maw as she watched the pair, turning her head towards Mayka, who had just sneeze. "Bless you," Rikka grinned, bobbing her head towards her son as he seemed bewildered by the sneeze.
Her wings stretched as she yawned. Now SHE was tired. Mimicking the actions of the father of her kids, she lowered herself to the ground, tucking the blue stocking legs underneath her, keeping a cyan gaze out for anything, as well as an ear alert.

Intrepid blinked, looking down to Shai as she settled herself against him. He smiled faintly and nuzzled his nose into her small body, eyes flicking over to Rikka. Looked like family nap time, eh? "I'm not tired, so if you'd like to sleep.. I can watch." He murmered to her, glancing back to the sky. That was supposed to be why he was here anyways, right?
Makya's head swung left, then right. He was looking at the others around him. His nostrils twitched and he went toward his mother, neighing softly. He wanted a warm spot too! He situated himself at her side, lightly biting at her wing, tugging it a little. Not to damage it, he thought it would give extra warmth!

Roses are Red
Rikka & IntrepidKasaiLoki Rikka had left that morning early before anyone else had even awaken from there slumber. Both Shai and Makya were curled up near Intrepid, which made the mare happy. At least he was staying for a while...right? She really needed to stop thinking about if he would leave.
But this morning, she had took off for a flight, finally being able to carry herself comfortable in the sky. She soared high in the air, the wind shifting through her blue feathers as she glided through the blue above. What a magnificent feeling, the wind in your hair and on your skin. Ah, pure bliss.
Landing, Rikka decided to roam the land by ground a bit. She wasn't to far from Trep and the kids, but enough away for them not to pick up her scent. She spotted something in the distnace. Oh! A rose bush! Such a pretty flower...and so fragranty... She whinnied, her head throwing up quickly as she trotted towards the beautiful flowers.
Would INtrepid like one...? Hmm She could suprise him maybe? To go get him first! And then she'll bring him back here, and give it then! She snorted happily, jumping in the air and taking wing, heading back home. Lethrossen Intrepid shifted a little, snorting as he wiggled about. He tried not to move too much, both the children were asleep near to him and he didn't want to wake them, not at all. Besides, he'd found babies were a strange creature, very strange.
He was very bored right now, Rikka had gone off for a nice flying trip and left him to babysit, which was only to be expected, really. He sighed, tail flicking a bit to make a pest fly go away. "And here I am, stuck to something." He snorted. Because he would probe Rikka wrong, even though he didn't know she actually did believe he'd leave. He'd stay as long as she needed him. Well. Unless a prettier mare came along? The strange thing was, he thought Rikka was becoming more and more stunning each day. How could another mare compare? His ears twitched and he huffed, blowing out air through his nostrils. Enough of those wishy-washy thoughts. KasaiLoki With a soft thump, the snowbird landed gracefully on the ground, walking up to the clearing where the sleeping babies, and fearless stallion laid. She smiled softly at them, whickering to Intrepid. "If you move slowly from underneath them, they'll never know you moved at all," She told him.
She waited for him to get up, turning towards where the rosebush was located. "Come with me for a moment," She asked him. "I want to give you something." The flowers were in ear's length of the foals, so if a predator would come near them, she could hear them and get back there quickly. Lethrossen Wanted to give him something? Ooh, Intrepid liked recieving gifts. He slowly stood, like she told him and moved away carefully. "Alright." He murmered, quietly. He followed after her easily, ears flicking as he glanced back to the sleeping babes. Was it really okay to leave them like that?At the loss of warmth from Intrepid leaving Makya shifted a little, whinnying very slightly. He squirmed and pushed up next to his sister, getting comfortable once more. KasaiLoki They would only be gone for a matter of...5 minutes at most? That is, if Intrepid would hurry himself up. Her ears remained back, not in anger but listening to the sounds behind her. No growls, or any scents of predators were in the area, so all was good for now.
Her cyan gaze met what she had intended to give Intrepid. "Close your eyes," She told him as she trotted over to the rose bush, carefully picking the most flowered blossom, and avoiding the thorns. Once the rose was off the bush, she pranced back over to him, "kay, ou can wopen em ow." Her words were slurred as she offered the rose to him. She thought it was pretty, so maybe he would too? Lethrossen Intrepid shut his eyes when she told him to, ears flicking foward. He stopped a hoof excitedly, wondering what it was. When she said he could open them he only saw her for a moment, then he spotted the red rose in her mouth. His eyes widened and he chuckled slightly, but it wasn't because he didn't like it. On the contrary. It was beautiful, just like the mare offering it to him. "I love it, Rikka." He murmered to her, moving his nose forward to take it from her, grinning in a horse-like manner. KasaiLoki Yay! He liked it! Rikka giggled as he took the rose from her, the blue flowing tail swishing behind her. "I'm glad. You don't see these around the mainlands a lot, and rarely anywhere too. Thought it would be a...well, just a gift." She was about to say a thank you gift for not leaving and stay, but she decided against it. Her wording was fine just the way it was.
"Besides, Red makes you handsome," She laughed, nipping at the braided mane as she wandered back to her foals. Lethrossen He chuckled more, wondering at her wording a moment but decided not to ask her about it. "A lvvv~ly gfff~t." He murmered, still holding onto it.
He blinked, looking a bit surprised. But he was already handsome! But if red made him more handsome... He strutted after her, certainly looking more proud and more like the Trep he used to be. (XD) |

The shadows shifting through trees and the sounds of whinnies caught the attention of two natives lurking in the forest. Each one bore similiarities of the other, forever marking them as twins even though they were of different genders.
The male, also the tallest of the two, grabbed his sister's arm, pointing towards the small colt weaving through trees just in the distance. "Let's follow it," Mikasi said, quietly trotting aways behind, his sister in tow. They both had seen the mystical soquili before when they were in their village, but one with wings were a rare sight to see. And this one bore the wings!
Rikka could be found in the clearing on the edge of the borders, grazing on grass. Hearing the small whinny from Makya, she returned the call with a neigh, telling her son she was over here.
