Gracie sat down gently beside Rufus, being careful about her injuries, the old... and the new. She glanced towards the bird and rolled her eyes. "She means no harm. Don't worry." She looked gently over his shoulder at what he was doing. "What are you drawing?" She asked with genuine interest. Alpha was watching the cat with amusement. She gently stuck out her talon and patted the Archi on the head, wanting to see his reaction.

ℜufus Rufus flushed abit “I um... I want to make a wizards chess club and I'm drawing idea's for a logo.” Rufus was sure she'd think it was dumb. A pretty girl like that would never like something like chess. Archi jump back away from the talon then sniffed it and licked at the claw.

Gracie nodded her head. "That's a great idea for club." She said quietly. She paused chewing her lip in thought. "I've never played wizards chess before... but my dad taught me how to play chess when I was four. I got pretty good at it!" She paused suddenly and looked away from him, blinking her eyes rapidly to make stop herself from crying. "I haven't played... in awhile... Last time he asked to play, I was to busy to give him the time..." She mumbled, pulling her knees to her chest and looking back at his drawing. Alpha hooted gently and stepped closer to the cat once again looking him in the eyes and hooting again.

Gracie blinked in surprise when he asked her to come with. She smiled just slightly. It was cute how nervous he seemed. She jumped to her feet, wincing just slightly when she stretched her back the wrong way. She really needed to learn to be more careful until she was totally healed. With another small smile she held out a hand to Rufus. "Come on. Lets go do it." She said, blue eyes bright once again.

ℜufus smiled and got his wand out “Reducio” He tapped the paper and it grew smaller. He got up and smiled. “Archi is mostly alright outside on his own but is Alpha, should we make a stop to bring the animals in?”

Gracie walked next to him. As they walked back towards the castle she looked around the outside world and smiled. Actually smiled. It was beautiful. She didn't know why, but Rufus always got her to see the good things in life, no matter what kind of mood she was in.

Cameron followed Elli to the stone circle. He could definitely feel the Baleful Brew potion kicking in. The more he thought about asking Elli out, the more fearless he got about the idea. Anyone could watch for all he cared. He just wanted to ask her out, and not the slightest worry about her turning him down was in his mind. Thank you, Alchemy, he thought contentedly. It was a good thing he took the course.

Elli smiled up at Cameron, running her fingers through her hair and brushing red strands behind her ear. She moved a step closer to him silently. He seemed a lot less nervous now, and she put it down to the fact that there wasn't anyone around to stare at them now.

Cameron took Elli's free hand with his free hand, holding them both now. His supported hers as they were underneath, and his thumbs lay on the back of her hands. Slightly squeezing her soft skin, Cameron stared into her green eyes. "Elli," he began. Fearless, no paranoia or worries, and definitely no sorrow, the Gryffindor continued. "I really like you. A lot." He waited for her to say something before asking her out, just to make sure he wasn't coming off too strongly.

Elli looked at him quietly when he grabbed her free hand. He looked really serious and she was starting to wonder why. When he spoke, a smile formed on her lips. "I really like you too Cam."She said softly, a smile still present on her lips. How could she not smile when he'd just told her he liked her? It was pretty obvious she liked him and hearing him say he liked her to, pretty much made her day, even after losing the game.

Cameron let out a small chuckle when his lips from a smile. "Do you want to go out with me?" he asked, almost certain Elli would agree. Maybe it was the ego the potion created that made him assume she'd say yes, or maybe he really did feel like she would have said yes. Regardless, he still had to wait for her to answer his question.

The words were slow to register in Elli's head. It was just to good to be true. She was shocked into silence, a smile growing on her lips as she realized just what he'd said. As the words sunk in, she realized that keeping him waiting on an answer probably wasn't the best idea. She blushed and nodded her head vigorously. She wasn't really sure if she was capable of words but she tried anyways. "Cam... yes.. of course...."She whispered, not really able to form a coherent sentence. She was just to damn happy.
