"Perhaps ignoring the words of others is an easy thing to do, but I prefer to keep my ears open. The world runs on gossip, and you can learn the most interesting things if you pay attention." Lyria said. "Like I said, maybe you need a vacation and get reaquainted with the city." she suggested.

Laughing a bit Andis rubbed the side of his head. "Sadly you may be right." Looking around the city Andis shook his head a bit. "Well for now maybe I can just clear my head a bit while I'm off" he told her putting his hands in his pockets.

"Well, if you ever want company on your vacation, I'm not going anywhere for a few days." Lyria offered with a wink. "Although you may want to brush up on your conversation skills between now and then if you have to ask."

"Are they really that bad? Well I guess it can be kind of expected" he chuckled looking to where they had walked to. The mead effects had worn off by now and he stopped. "I guess I will take it into consideration but then I could simply start speaking in elf. Maybe then it would be a bit less dry tho I doubt it" he muttered with a bit of a sigh. (Anything ever gonna happen with anime???)

((Idk, but we're working on a 1x1, so I'll ask her about things.))
"Well not many people have to ask 'what do you want to talk about' when striking up a conversation. Bringing up the weather is a better ice breaker than that." Lyria said with a smile. "Although Elfish wouldn't help much, seeing as how I don't speak a word of it." she said with a rather sheepish smile. "Changing up the language you speak would only make things worse, I'm sure. Unless you're speaking with another elf, of course."

{Sorry for slinking out of the rythm of things. sweatdrop
As for the Blooming Rose being the best place in game, that's...a matter of oppinion. I liked lurking around in the Amell estate often, tbh.}
Dahlia burst right into the cheapest tavern she could find, looking for a drink that didn't cost more than a few coppers. She was quick to lose interest in the city and it's turmoil, at least for as long as she was bored and thirsty. Perhaps this place, the Hanged Man, had some interesting gossip to go around while she drank the undoubtedly foul-tasting swill that they called ale?
{The Hanged Man is the tavern in DA2, btw.}

((Blooming Rose. As soon as I start playing DA2 again I'm going to use it to get my rivalry with Merrill up so I can try a rivalry romance, which is apparently a thing.))
The Lady was soon stumbling her way back downstairs, giggling as she pinched Norah's bum before seeing the newcomer. She slipped up close to Dahlia and asked in a loud whisper, "Are you a mage? Because you just mage-icked my breath away!" Then she giggled again and asked the bartender for another drink, and pouted when she was refused.
((I'm sorry. I just couldn't resist.))

"Guess your right" he muttered with a bit of a sigh. "Sorry long conversations really aren't one of my strong points." Looking around the city he thought about asking for some time off wondering how well that would go. "If I am boring you that much tho I can easily take my leave I wouldn't want to inconvenience you for to long" he told her his hands behind his back while he stared down the street. It was for the most part quiet the streets still lined with people but all was going the same as usual in the city.

"If you were boring me I would have left by now." Lyria said with a smile as she walked a few steps ahead of him and spun around to face him as she walked backwards for a bit. "Besides, I'm alone on the road enough as it is. I prefer to make a friend or two in each town I stop in, or the whole visit is entirely unmemorable."

"Uhh yea I suppose" he laughed a bit rubbing the side of his head. He wasn't going to lie he was starting to get bored with just there little chat. Even if he did think she was cute that was only going so far before his attention would shift. "Well then would you like head to anything in particular" he asked watching her as she walked backwards.

"Probably the inn. It's starting to get dark out, and I need my beauty sleep." Lyria half joked as she turned back around. That was a lie, of course. Once the city fell into slumber she'd take off for the rich quarter and get some real looting done.

"Well would you like me to walk you there so that none of the brutes apprehend you when they see you alone" he chuckled his hands in his pockets as a smile came over his face. "Or should I leave you of your own and see how you fair" he continued poking a bit of fun at the girl.
