The blonde jumped up and raced out of the school as soon as the bell rung to dismiss class for the day. She bounded down the steps and jumped on the ends of the side walls of the stairs to await Jethro.

"Hey." Maerie leaned over and lightly kissed Meg, then blushed. "Oh, um, sorry, that's just this thing that one of my friends did, when she wanted someone to pay attention, she'd just lean over and..." He took a breath. "Anyways. I just wanted to say, I really am sorry. And if I could have been here, I would have. And I want to be your friend again."

Jethro jumped when the bell rang, not realizing how much time had passed. He smiled, placed the notebook into his bookbag, and walked nonchalantly to the front of the school. He looked at Alexia and said, "Come on. I'm parked over here." He smiled at her and brandished his keys to his Delorian.

((Joke, Lucii, you should remember my obsession with Delorians, right?))

Meghan eyes widen, staring at Maerie for a moment before her face went blank, her eyes moving down to her book again for awhile. "Could you stop apologizing?" She asked after a moment, moving her eyes back to Maerie. But she didn't say anything about being friends again, cause she still didn't want to be friends again.

Maerie leaned forward. "You didn't say anything about friends. So I'll assume you wanna go back to being besties." He gave a small smile. He used to assume things all the time, and sometimes his assumptions weren't based entirely on reality. He shook those thoughts off. "What do you say, huh?"

Meghan let out a frustrated sigh, shutting her book with a loud thud as she turned her gaze back to Maerie. "I don't have friends anymore," she started saying, her voice oozing with a bit of annoyance that she tried to hold back. "I never really did have any. And I don't want any!" She tried to make that clear, glaring at the boy to the drive the point home.

"Fine," Maerie said with a pout. "I'll just go, then. I'll find Jethro and Alexia, who're nice to me. And then I won't ever talk to you again!" With that, he stalked away towards the school, managing to see them before they left. He called out, "Hey!" Then he ran over. "Hey, you two. What's up?"

Alexia Jayy jumped down and caught up to Jethro, matching his stride's speed. Then, she heard Maerie. Turning, the musician slightly waved and inched behind the taller guy to keep something between her and the newcomer. The blonde was still scared for what had happened between her and Maerie earlier. Who could blame her really? She was scared of sex because of her rapist.
