It was days like these that Ezra was reminded why he had his current occupation. The large and honorable moment when hard work and dedication paid off in such an amazing way. To see students, arrive with a small grasp of what their capabilities are then to see them work to have a broader understanding. In the end, they end up seeing just what they are capable of doing and are eager to push their limits. Being able to witness a small seed bloom into something magnificent was always such a huge honor. Having the ability to guide these students and then watching as they take everything on themselves, being the true decider of their futures was something that Ezra held dear. He knew that every student graduating had promising futures ahead of them. The celebrar was curious to see what path they were to take and where that path would lead to.

This year’s graduation was special in its own way since he now had his love by his side. ”I think now would be a nice time to take our seats. Give ourselves a moment to settle down before the ceremony commences.” He squeezed Elijah’s hand as the two sat down in their seats. Though Ezra wasn’t fond of large crowds, for something like this, he’d make an exception. Leaning over, he kissed Elijah’s cheek just as Gannon stepped forward to begin talking. Everyone found their seats and quieted down as Gannon began to speak and give his extremely well-done introduction before inviting the graduating students to come up. The red head watched intently as the five students made their way to the stage. All were hard workers. Though some he didn’t have personally, he saw them often and heard nothing but good things. Especially of Gin. With his and Gianna’s relationship being much better, he was there when her and Ven fully took him in. That was their son, and he was proud of how well he had done. Mikhail was the prince of valor, and a skilled male he was. Ezra noticed how the prince had more friends and seemed more at ease than he did when he first entered. These were the kind of changes that made his job extremely fulfilling.

Her scarlet eyes were taking in the sight of Zelda's face, though the light within the commoner's face was not as vibrant as she would have hoped, and the princess could see why. Pepin was nowhere to be found these past few months, and although Catherine and the apprentice chef weren't that close compared to the relationship between the water elementor and Zelda as sisters, at least the food cooked by the young girl was appreciated. It was a shame that such memories would just remain mostly stagnant, no longer evolving into something new. Her hand didn't let go of Zelda's, a silent message to know that she would always be there for her.

Normally, she wouldn't like to hear the speech, but with the gravity of loss hanging over her like a dark cloud, Gannon's words served as a welcoming distraction from such thoughts. Her eyes were glancing at Mikhail, who was visited by his biological mother earlier before the court mage was voicing out the words. She was secretly proud of her half-sibling, though yet again, she still had to console her girlfriend. The problem was that Catherine wouldn't reassure Zelda that Pepper would be back. What if she ended up like the others who had become the victims of the threat, possibly escalating into something more...?

No, she shouldn't mull too much about what would go wrong and focus on the present moment. Gannon had adjourned his speech, the cue that the ceremony was over and it would be time for the coupons to be presented to the graduates, a special task sent to her by Kayne himself. But before that, she should make sure that Zelda would be okay, just enough to regain her bearings a bit more. "Hey, we should get going now. What do you want to do next? I'll accompany you."

And once she was done sending in the coupons to the graduates, she would leave the auditorium, having to remain by Zelda's side for the rest of the day.

Rick knew that his Grandmother couldn't stay long, but as he found his way back down to where students and relatives alike were meeting to express their joys at the accomplishment, Patrick slipped past the crowd to somewhere more quiet, casting a glance over his shoulder before turning back to smile as her familiar face came into view.

"Hey there Stranger," hugging was not an option, but he felt his skin prickle as she wrapped her arms around him, "It's been a while,"

"It certainly has," she drew back, "But I shall have a word with your Grandfa when I next see him," it was clear she was a little peeved that nobody had come to witness her grandson's graduation, "He knew what was happening and could easily have sent the others on ahead...but look at you!" Changing the subject she would extend her hands like any doting grandparent, attempting to straighten out his collar before running her hands down his sleeves, "So smart - and handsome!" She knew that comment would make him blush and drew a hand towards his face before he could turn it away, "I'm sure you need guards to keep the girls away?"

"Not exactly," Rick would smile again, before reaching to gently push her hand away - and watching it pass straight through... "I'm glad you came,"

"I wouldn't have missed it for the world." the old woman smiled, "I'm just glad to see my little troublemaker is growing up into a fine young man," she would watch as his eyes focused momentarily on a passing family before returning to hers, "You do me proud, Lad."

"I miss you..." he knew time was short and watched as Branwen lifted from her perch before gliding down towards them, "I just..."

"You know I'll be waiting for you when the time comes," he would feel a chill as she raised her hand to brush the hair from his eyes before turning to look towards the White Raven as Bran landed upon the male's shoulder before turning back to face her.

"Time Comes." Branwen cawed, merely repeating what was said, but perhaps also speaking the truth,

"Indeed it does," the old woman nodded, cupping Patrick's face before smiling. "Take care of yourself." She would turn her gaze towards the White Raven and Branwen would straighten up, flapping her wings as though preparing for flight before lifting from Rick's shoulder and seeking out the nearest window.

"You know the line..." Patrick would smile, having learnt the phrase from the woman herself before watching as his Grandmother raised a hand, her fingers brushing past the Raven's feet as Bran flew overhead before fading from his view.

"Hey!" Rick didn't have long to stand alone as a familiar Shifter skipped into view - Jesse had presumed Nanashi hadn't seen her and instead decided that seeing as though Patrick seemed not to have had anyone to congratulate him on his achievement, that she would do so instead. "Way to go on Graduating!" Beaming widely - having tracked his scent between the masses - the Fennec Child would advance, waving before coming to a stop just infront of him. He of course towered over her, but she was used to that,

"Hmm? Oh, hey! Thanks!" he had to rack his brains as to where he'd seen her before, but quickly filled in the blanks, "Oh! You were Tay's friend, right?"

"Yep!" Jesse's tail would wave merrily from side to side, "It's been a while," the smile didn't leave her face, but she could see the male was a little out of sorts, "Hey, do you wanna go get something to eat?" tilting her head, she wasn't exactly sure what to say to the male - her plan had been to congratulate him, but seeing as though he was all alone...

"I'm, actually alright, thanks, but I appreciate your offer, maybe later perhaps?" he wasn't entirely sure what he would be doing later, but it was nice of her to ask...

"Ah, not a problem then," somewhat grateful that he declined, Jesse would smile and take her leave, unable to resist a glance over her shoulder as she left the Auditorium.

Alone again, Rick watched her go before seeing himself back to his Dorm room.

Gianna was talking about how she was blessed and Ven felt his heart soar and his smile brightened more than it already did. The fact that she returned his kiss enthusiastically didn't help. They pulled back, and hearing her say that she loved him, his eyes widened and his face felt incredibly hot, matching the warmth growing in his chest. What could he say to that? "I love you too," slipped out of his mouth as he momentarily forgot they were in public and they continued kissing.

Gannon's voice brought Ven's awareness back to the present and he jumped back, mortified at the display they put out in front of everyone; he didn't want to know what their neighbours thought and he could hear some kids snickering in the background, which made him flush a dark red. "Let's, ah, hold off until we get home?" he stuttered out in a low voice, unable to meet Gianna's eyes before focusing on Gannon's speech. Despite being uncomfortable with large crowds, he could make an incredible speech and it showed with how many people were listening rapturously.

As he called the students up to the stage, Ven applauded with the rest of the audience, quirking an eyebrow up at the sight of the familiar girl remained attached to Gin’s back like a limpet even as he climbed onto the stage. The students were all called upon to receive their scrolls and hearing Gannon’s words really drove the point home. Gin looked towards them, looking so incredibly pleased that Ven had to return his grin with the proudest smile he could manage.

Soon, the ceremony came to an end and and they contributed to the applause and deafening cheers as the graduates enjoyed their moment before they left the stage and into the crowd. Sharing a proud look with Gianna, they made a beeline towards Gin, eager to celebrate his success. Unsurprisingly, after the display on stage, the girl remained glued to his back. Gin didn’t seem bothered, in fact, he seemed incredibly pleased and Ven felt a flush a pleasure as Gin introduced them to the girl, and felt his own smile widen and his eyes softened. Hearing the girl’s name, he immediately understood why Gin felt so giddy. The boy had confided to him about how he worried about his younger sister in the clutches of his blood relatives (because they did not act like a family) and seeing her here must’ve been a relief, especially on an already special day.

”Hello Catherine,” he introduced himself, giving her a welcoming smile. ”Your brother had talked about you.“ Up close, the similarities between the two really was obvious, and Ven knew that he and Gianna would take her in. In fact, he was sure Gianna was already prepared to adopt her because of that alone (not that he would’ve minded one bit). Squeezing her hand momentarily, he shared a look with Gia before gazing back at the two. ”Would you like to come home with us?“

Ivar enters the Auditorium

Ivar thought back to his first few days of starting here, back when he had no control over his raiment and was so unrefined. Now he arguably had one of the most powerful raiments in his year group and was now able to adapt in combat. He even managed to make some friends which made him even prouder of himself. Not many had the patience to put up with his constant flirting and pompous attitude, however it seemed there were a few in the academy who could. His attention was diverted to the main stage as the ceremony was finally beginning. A voice called for everyone to take their seats. Ivar felt he was ready enough to take on the next chapter in his life. He looked up to the head court mage Ganon as he started his speech. Ivar was not able to interact much with the man, the only conversation they did have was the one where Ivar found out that he would be graduating as a first year. That conversation really made Ivar feel terrible and uncertain for a very long time, however now things were looking up.

Ivar heard Ganon's instructions and waited patiently for his turn, clapping as Patrick made his way to the stage. Ivar had only seen the guy a few times, he couldn't help but blush a bit when he caught himself staring a little too long at the guy. He perked up when he heard his name being called, almost flying out of his seat with the biggest smile on his face. He happily strolled up to the stage and towards Mr Noble, making sure to take in the moment as he slowly made his way to the center of the stage. "Oh they wont know what hit em when I make my mark on this world!" he joked as he bowed to his superior. He took the scroll from the Head court mage's hands and noted the elegant decorations etched onto the paper. "Thank you sir," he said before bowing one final time. After the interaction had ended he made his way back to his seat, the audience clapping still which made him feel special.....One day he hoped he would be admired by a crowd citizens as he saved them from a bad guy. As he walked he noticed that Nanashi was sitting among the audience. He nodded in acknowledgement towards his rival before he continued onwards. Ivar and Nanashi's relationship had been complicated from the start, and now Ivar was still unsure on how he felt about the guy. He still needed time to process the information he had learnt, but now was not the time.

The ceremony was a beautiful, and Kayl sat quietly with Elenora and Eryli as Gannon continued on with his speech. Going from one student to the next, from one graduate to the next, Gannon continued to call open them and congratulate them each while giving them all some personal words of wisdom. Once the ceremony was over, Kayl stood up in applause with the rest of the crowd, and smiled happily for the graduates, Mikhail and Lelyna especially. Escorting Elenora and Eryli back towards an easy opening near the exit, they were met up by Lelyna once more, and Elenora immediately hugged her and congratulated her. "Congratulations Lelyna," Kayl said with a smile before they all started heading out of the Auditorium.

"So then, I suppose goodbyes are coming then?" Sylrenya said as she looked up at Kayl, a slightly sad look in her eye. She wasn't particularly sadden by people leaving, especially for those that she wasn't particularly close with. However the thought of having to say goodbye o someone she cherished the way that some of the students 'might' be saying goodbye choked her up a bit, the big softy that she was. "For some, yes, and others will still be around," Kayl said I response, simply answering Syl's question as he often did when she learned more of human cultures. "But you know, in the new year, there will be even more students coming in, more possibilities to make new connections, new friendships, and new rivals," As they spoke quietly, Kayl stepped out of the Auditorium as Sylrenya smiled lightly with the thought.

There was a sense of relief in the young Shifters mind at her brothers words, the only person who she would ever believe would not abandon her, but even then... There was a hint of distrust in the back of her head, seems the past lingered more than she would've thought. "Good..." She would utter bluntly with a faint quiver in her voice.

The ceremony had finally came to an end and they were soon walking down from the stage, well, Gin was. She would likely be stuck to him for the remainder of the day after how long it took to find him, whether or not he minded, not that that would be a problem. Her stare set upon two strangers that her brother appeared to be approaching... The sole fact they were just mysterious people to Rin resulted in her shifting further behind her brothers shoulder. It was only when Gin went to introduce them, that she would give them a long, cautious stare. Parents... She'd wonder, it was clear right away he was happy with them... A true opposite from back home.

Then the male spoke to her and she would focus on his face intensely... Curious, Rin would release her grip from her brother, dropping to the ground as her shoes made a brief echo which quickly sunk into the sounds of the people around them, she would not even blink as she approached steadily. In a moment, a flash of a familiar image in her head halted her movement. A males glaring eyes, face red with anger, followed by a hand raising upward threateningly.

"N-no..!" She snapped, although not directly at his question, but on instinct at sight of her memory. Rin jerked herself away and stepped back behind her brother, hugging his arm tightly as she hid herself from the couple with just her gaze visible as she stared with a hint of fear. Realising the miscommunication, she spoke slowly. "I mean... I-I'm staying with big bro..." She stared at the floor and went silent.

Whenever they were ready, Rin stayed attached to Gin as they would leave the Auditorium, as for her thoughts on the brothers new family... Well, adjusting sure as heck wont be easy.

Lerato's eyes remained glued to Gannon for most of the time that the speech was narrated to everyone in the auditorium. Back then, his ex was unsure, being a hesitant one to talk in public. Actually, Gannon still has some things to work on, but the progress was on a positive note. Education didn't have to end in the academy, as life would still give everyone the curveballs every now and then and some would be extremely major. In fact, he was so focused on the speech that he failed to notice that he was being watched, and it was of a different motive aside from respect. Could it be because of his new looks? It might be.

When the ceremony was finally adjourned, he gave the graduating students a look that meant that he was proud of them. The court mage actually had something else to do after this, like having to snatch his clarinet from home and play. But before that, he had to see what he could do with the paperwork in his office, having to assess to them and get them organized. He gave the scenery, and even Gannon, one last look before he left the auditorium. But as he was close to the exit, a flash of the student staring at him was within his line of sight. The last thing that Lerato heard was the soundless closing of the door before his office would be his next destination.

Gin was glad to see that Ven remembered Catherine. During some of their longer, more personal talks, Gin had mentioned his little sister and his worry for her. After he’d left home to come to the Academy, he hadn’t had any communication with her, something that had been the doing of his former clan. Gin had wondered if he’d ever see his sister again. To have her here with him now meant the world to him. It seemed that Ven and Gia were intrigued by Rin in the best ways. Always welcoming and loving, Gin had no doubt that his parents would treat Rin with the same care they showed him.

As his sister slipped from his back, he watched her come around to look up at Ven. For a moment, Gin thought she’d accept Ven’s offer. But then…Gin saw the flash of fear in her eyes and the way her body tensed. Ven hadn’t so much as moved but Rin reacted as if the male would strike her. Sure enough, Rin shouted her ‘NO’ and scrambled back behind him.

Frowning deeply, Gin looked down at his sister and then back at Ven. His father had done nothing wrong – he hadn’t even tried to touch Rin…Sighing a little he gave Ven an apologetic look before looking back down at Rin. She seemed to realize what she had done and quickly spoke of not leaving his side. “It’s alright, Rin…Ven and Gia are the best people I know.” He said reassuringly. “Don’t worry, I’m not letting you out of my sight.”

It didn’t take much coaxing to get Rin back onto his back so the four of them could head out of the auditorium and head home. Gin suspected that Rin had reacted in the way she had due to past trauma. He didn’t know what their clan had done to her in his absence, but he was going to find out and then he was going to make them all pay…In the meantime, Gin was content with introducing Rin to his new family and his new life. Hopefully, in time, she would realize that she was safe, welcome and loved…

"Give service, Help the Innocent, Save the lives of friend and foe"

Should the speech Gannon delivered regarding the graduates be considered inspiring? Of course. It was a fantastic speech, and if Griselda were in a better mood than she currently is, she definitely has a deeper appreciation for it. She heard every word he said, and she can probably remember most of it. It did not affect her emotionally as it most likely did to those graduating and everyone else in the audience. With her mind preoccupied with her personal troubles, it was difficult for her to get caught in the emotions of others. This may have affected Catherine as well, who was probably paying more attention to Griselda than the actual ceremony. It was a bad idea to attend this ceremony with her. The princess ought to be here, happy to be with her family and seeing her brother graduate. Then they would get together and go out celebrating. At least, that is what Griselda hopes for at this point. There is no need for her to stick around with someone who is in a depressed mood. Her head raised when Catherine told her that they ought to be going and that she will accompany her after asking her what she wanted to do next. The commoner has to try her best to free Catherine from the shackles that Griselda feels that Valor's princess may have tied to her by convincing her to go with her family.

"I...I just wanna go back to the dorm...you...you should go celebrate...I am sure your family wishes to spend time with you..."

Griselda's attempt to get Catherine to go to her family did not work. The princess was much too concerned about her to let her be on her own. She wants to be there for emotional support even if it meant not going to her family to congratulate her brother and celebrate. It made Griselda feel guilty, but nothing is going to change Catherine's mind. As soon as they were ready to leave, both girls departed from the theatre and went to their dorm. Griselda did not do much after changing out of her dress. If she was not forcing herself to eat, she was moping in bed and responding as much as could to Catherine.

[ - Begin New Interaction for New RP Day – First Day of New School Year - ]

Gannon let out a sigh as he scanned the auditorium. Over the last two months he’d been corresponding with the Lord Marshal of Valor as well as the New Royal Court Mage that was being assigned to the Academy for the new year. In light of all of the events both good, but mostly bad, that were occurring in Eoana and the Academy, the King of Valor felt that if his children were going to continue to attend the Academy, that a new Court Mage, one that held the Kings favor, authority and trust, would be best suited to oversee the Academy. This was a subtle way of telling Gannon that in the King’s eyes, he wasn’t doing his job well enough and he would soon be replaced if, he wasn’t already.

The Academy had always been run by three Court Mages, one from Valor, one from Trendel and a third from either Kingdom or a smaller Kingdom if they were qualified for the position. But now, with the arrival of this Royal Court Mage, for the first time since the Academy’s founding, all three Court Mages were from Valor. This was yet another sign that someone would be removed from their position and all signs pointed at Gannon himself.

While Gannon understood that it might be time for him to step down, he felt that given all that was happening in the city – the disappearances, the attack on the fae village - he felt that the students would need him now more than ever. But as a Court Mage of Valor his orders came from the King and it seemed that soon the monarch would remove him from the Academy. There was a chance that Gannon was over thinking things or that he was paranoid, but his gut was telling him he was right and over the years he’d learned to trust his instincts…

Thus, it was with a bit of sadness that he watched the students slowly trickle into the auditorium. Some were brand new students, nervous about their first year but excited too, while the majority of the students stepping in were returning for their second or third year. Truth be told, Gannon cared for each and every one of them, even if he didn’t know some as well as others. If he had to leave them, it would be with a very, heavy heart.

This was it! Today was the first day of the rest of their lives. Twitch and Riku made their way upto the main entrance of the building, awe struck by the grandeur of the Academy. "Wow this place looks nicer than the Trendel palace eh buddy?" Twitch said in shock. The white dog barked in agreement as the two made their way inside. Everyone seemed to be dressed in their best clothes for the occasion, Twitch just had some clothes he stole from another kid two years ago. He probably looked very scruffy especially compared to the pure white cloud of a dog prodding behind him. The Duo got some weird looks from the other students, but in all honesty Twitch didn't care about them or what they thought of him. He knew what the big bad world was already like, they had no idea so already he would be at an advantage, in his mind he was better than them.

The two finally arrived at the orientation, twitch seemed a little confused as to where he should sit. They weren't given a specific seat so he just decided to sit near the back with his feat resting up on the headrest of the chair in front. Riku hoped up onto the chair next to him, panting quite loudly. Another boy approached Twitch, dressed quite fancy like with a very outrageous hair style. "I'm sorry but I am pretty sure beasts aren't allowed in here," he spoke in a very eloquent tone. He then gestured to the dog, "The dog will have to leave too," he sneered. Twitch looked up to the snob and rose an eyebrow, "Better take that back or you will regret it," he threatened as he casually reached into his pocket, grabbing onto a pebble he had stored in his pocket. The other boy laughed with his right hand raised upto his mouth in a very pompous fashion. "You try to fight me and you'll be kicked out, quite a feat for the very first day. I am not sure how a simple beast like you got in but i'd rather not engage with you as I don't want to sully myself," he taunted while smirking. Annoyingly the rich kid was right, but that didn't mean Twitch could get his own back later. With that the kid walked away to talk to some other students. "Maybe coming here was not such a good idea after all," Twitch sighed as he sunk lower into his seat.

Jace walked confidently towards the doors to enter the auditorium, an air of cool and calm to him as he did so. It was a trick he was taught to master in life to use for his future. 'Mask your emotions so no one can take advantage of you.' He thought to himself, repeating the words of his father in his head. It would act as his shield when interacting with others, complete strangers as they were, so that he would not be left defenseless. Internally, he was fretting over his attire and grooming that he had done before coming here. Wondering if any part of it had been done incorrectly, or been messed up somehow despite his careful steps, despite spending over an hour in front of his room mirror to ensure he was as presentable as he could possibly be. First impressions were everything in social gatherings with the people he was accustomed to dealing with, and though this was a school, he would treat it relatively the same. As such, he had to at least pretend as if everything were in his control and he was unfazed, even if it was entirely the opposite. He would pause before the doors to the auditorium, before slowing entering so as not to show any nervousness.

He was pleasantly surprised to see the auditorium interior was lavish and elaborate in terms of decor, temporarily admiring it. The no wealth spared look to it reminded him of his own home. Realizing he had inadvertently stopped moving from surprise at seeing how nice the academies auditorium was, he resisted the urge to quickly move away and instead calmly proceeded forward, taking a seat at random among the many available as more students began to enter. He would fold his hands in his lap and carefully have his vision towards the stage itself, but not really focusing on it. Instead, he was more so thinking how fast everything had gone so far. The summer had passed uneventfully, and now the actual trial of learning to master his powers would begin. 'And yet I still know no one.' He thought to himself, having mostly been isolated if by his own accord during the time. He had thought of actively seeking others to interact but he felt so out of place with most people that he shirked away from it. Now though, as the school year would begin, he would have to interact with other. "For better or worse." He quietly said to himself, quickly raising a hand as he felt a sight coming to hide his forked tongue. He had no doubts it would be revealed when he attended classes for being a shifter, but he still preferred as little people knew about it as possible. Closing his mouth and hiding his snake tongue, he would casually have his gaze travel across the auditorium while not really focusing on anyone, half lost in thought and finding something to hold his interest.

[ - Begin New Interaction for RP day - ]

The summer vacation flew by for Gin. It was time that he’d needed to spend with his family, with Ven, Gianna and Rin. Being surrounded by the people who he loved and loved him helped him heal even more. While his heart wasn't completely healed, he felt more like his old self than he had months before...

Losing Sokea had been a heavy blow to him emotionally and mentally. Sokea was his first love, someone that he had imagined spending the rest of his life with. Sokea had been someone who had truly cared for him and had helped him open up and seek help for his issues. In many ways Sokea had saved his life. But still, their love hadn’t been meant to last and it had taken time for Gin to come to terms with that. He knew full well that he would never forget Sokea and all that he’d done that was why people said that it was the first love that cut the deepest. After all that had happened, he hoped that wherever Sokea was that he was happy...

Walking upon the Academy grounds with his little sister at his side filled Gin with a sense of pride. Last year, he had dreamed of this moment. He’d hoped to see Rin come to the Academy to be a student. However, after she hadn’t show up, he’d written the clan to inquire about her health and whereabouts – it had been then that he’d discovered that she’d run away. After that, Gin had very little hope of seeing his sister again, yet here they were, one year later nearly to the day. Rin was at his side and she was starting her first year as a student. He had every confidence in her as well – she’d succeed with flying colors, he had no doubt.

Leading her into the Auditorium, he pointed out the various seating sections for each knit class. Their section was by far the easiest to spot given that shifters had some outward appearance that gave their knit class away. Leading her over, he took a seat off to the right but close enough to the front that they’d be able to see everything. Inwardly, Gin knew that these were the same seats they’d occupied in his vision…

“Ready for your first official day?” Gin asked with a small smirk. Today would consist of the orientation and any other sign-ups that Rin needed to complete. For example, if she wished to have a dorm room, she would need to sign up for one, but somehow, he doubted Rin would want to live on campus when he wouldn’t be. Tomorrow, Rin would attend her first knit class, of which he was the TA. It didn’t seem very fair that he was assisting in a class that his sister was in, but his graduate studies had already been decided before Rin became enrolled in the Academy, so there was no helping it.

Sokea's weary and longing heart wasn't ready to come back. One note came to him during his time at Eoana that made him drop everything, including the person he loved most in the world, Gin. That boy never left Sokea's thoughts after he left, and they still haunt him to this day. Sokea couldn't forgive himself for leaving, but... he had to. There was no way in that moment, Sokea wouldn't have left. He just wished he didn't do it so suddenly, cutting his tie with Gin.

What caused Sokea to leave in the first place was a note he received from his grandparents, claiming they may know that Sokea's little sister, Keira, might still be alive somewhere. Keira meant the world to Sokea, but after the cult incident with his family, Sokea was taken away from them by his grandparents while they could still save him. An opportunity to save Keira however, never arose. Sokea didn't want Gin to know or be involved in Sokea's past, his family is dangerous as much as they were delusional. Sokea did his best for Gin not to know, but now, he might be forced to tell him.

Alas, the search for Keira was in vain, and her whereabouts are still unknown. His grandparents decided it'd be best for Sokea to stay in Eoana, where he was safe from his family. They promised to send updates on their mission to find out what's going on with Keira. Now, Sokea is in the auditorium, borrowing the vision of some person he passed by to find a seat. Scanning the crowd, as luck would have it, he spots him.

Gin was sitting next to a girl with similar features as him. His sister, maybe? I thought he severed his contact with his family, maybe this one has done the same... Sokea held his hand to his chest, and felt his heart race. He desperately wanted to go and sit with Gin, but he didn't know if he was ready to face him; he knew Gin was hurt by his sudden disappearance, so suddenly appearing back here like nothing happened would only be a disregard to his feelings even more. Sokea decided to find a seat a few rows behind Gin, where he could still see those adorable ears. Now, Sokea had to find a way to approach Gin properly so he can talk about what happened. After the ceremony might be the best, after everyone has left. Sokea still knows of all of his hiding places, so if Gin escapes to one, he'll know where to find him. Sokea still loves Gin, with all of his heart; so he'll do whatever he can to win love back. The things Sokea would kill just to see him smile again..
