By the time Nasath reappeared from between, there was only ash where the threatening clump of thread had been. For a moment he was more jealous than relieved--he'd wanted to be the hero!--but a nudge from A'iel made him snort and rumble a thank you to Loteth.
Seeing his distraction made Cyndreth bite his tongue as he was being fed some Firestone "Sorry Cyndreth, but you know, if any dragon can still be awesome.. it's YOU!" he encouraged, flooding the bronze with happy thoughts!

The pair jumped between to avoid some Thread... only to find their destination immediately threatened by another windblown cluster. Silviu took a deep breath and ducked low against Aramath's neck, giving him a tight hug and a silent promise that everything was going to be all right. Something seemed to click between them in that moment; a trust and understanding that had always been always there, but was suddenly bolstered beyond their typical scale.
Aramath's bellow was cut off by the silence of between as they jumped again, reappeared, and then blinked out a third time. The blue popped in right beside the blown Thread they'd narrowly avoided, flaming with red-eyed vengeance before jumping away to safety again. He'd only gotten half of it, but his chest swelled with pride and a sense of justice that he expressed with an extra-loud roar before settling back into formation again. Silviu was so surprised and pleased that he couldn't even say anything. He just patted that thick blue neck until his skinny forearm started to hurt.

The wind is getting pretty bad. You struggle through, but wind up having to be extra alert for the windblown Thread! This is not a good situation to be in! [Geens, and blues wind up easily avoiding the blown Thread, their smaller sizes a great advantage. [+3 Agility!] [Browns and bronzes aren't quite as lucky. They maneuver as they can, but still wind up scored. Minor Damage -2 HP
They were just not having a good day. The wind pushed and shoved--but Cyndreth remained resolute with ease, due to his size and stamina. He kept an eye out for thread blown towards him, but couldn't maneuver out of the way entirely. A stray thread grazed his tail, but then it was gone, as the pair popped between. No lasting damage, just soreness to add to the growing pile of complaints.
Loteth saw his wingmate in trouble at the same moment Nasath did, the Bronze betweening first, Loteth betweened too, emerging just a short way from the clump, He had a split second to react, he flamed short and fast, searing the clump to dust right as it seemed Nasath was going to get horribly scored as he emerged in the midst of the ashes, quickly Loteth closed his mouth, halting the flame so he wouldn't burn the bronze. "PHEW"he gasped very loudly, his hearts beating fast, that could have been BAD.... "you ok Nasath?" he asked as he moved back to formation.

You're so focused on flaming Thread that you miss a clump of thread blows up on the wind -- beneath you! If a greeen, or blue, you manage to jump Between ahead of it. Thankfully, your smaller size means you're able to avoid getting harmed! [+1 Between Accuracy] If a brown or bronze, your heavier size does cause your tail to get caught! [+1 Between Accuracy & Minor Damage - 2 HP!]
It took a lot of focus to fly thread, and it seemed that this threadfall would not be their best performance. Ideally, it wouldn't result in major damage. Thread came up beneath them, ferried by a gust of wind, but the bronze betweened ahead of it--but not enough, for his tail got caught in the thread, resulting in some minor damage. What an annoyance.
The wind is fierce and fighting you. Greens, and blues will struggle against it, trying valiantly to keep in formation! [+1 Stamina] Browns and Bronzes can feel the strain, but it's nothing they can't seem to handle. [+3 Stamina]
The wind battered the pair, but to no avail. Cyndreth was determined to remain in formation, to stay strong, to prove himself. He kept on in a straight line, refusing to bend to the wind.

Aramath seemed to be on fire now, in a good way! Silviu barely had to form the image in his mind before the blue jumped a short distance away to burn Thread before it could drop onto a wingmate.

Roll: 5 - Wheeling, flaming, catching thermals, fighting wind.... Threadfall is nothing if not exhausting. Browns and bronzes aren't having quite as bad a time, their stamina having always been programmed to be a bit more hearty. [+3 Stamina] HP: 30/40 Status Effect: None. Wind? Psh! You couldn't even SEE wind. There was no way Nasath was going to let a little breeze slow him down--he was too bulky to be blown about anyway!

This sudden high was perhaps the most intensely good feeling Silviu had ever experienced during a Fall. With another roar, Aramath avoided a sudden attack of windblown strands by jumping elsewhere.
