"At this point it would delight in you being
bored with me,but I am in no noitisop ot eugra.
My eman is Oba Fenyang."Oba nodded his head in
the way of his manners but did not take his eyes or her.
He was nervous enough to speak backwards like he liked
too without even realizing it. If it came to it he would
fight for his life but he would be much more to his liking to
just walk away. He really didn't pay attention to the insults.
Physical appearances were temporary in his eyes and while
it was true he didn't like the way he looked he didn't let that bother
him in the least. As far as insults on his intelligence well that didn't
bother him either. He wasn't a stallion out to prove himself, though
you would get a rant if you were to call him weird.
His life was about survival though he searched for more a meaning
to his life if you will.
Oba gritted his teeth behind the closed mouth ready
to strike at a moments notice.
"If you are to be my downfall be done with it or let me be."

She has struck a nerve, that was good. The mare was quiet for a very long time, the stillness of the air grew thick with the tension between the two opposing forces. At last she smiled and did something she doubted he would ever expect she do. The mare laughed. It was not a very plesant sound, less than a merry giggle and more like a dark giggle filled with malicious intent.

"My...arnt you the fersome one all of a sudden? Did I say I would be your downfall? No. I was merily pointing out that you where foolish enough to venture out here into the wilds with out your head on strait. Its clear something is bothering you, and that will be your demise. " Being even that sweet to him, and pretending to be pleasant to him made her stomach knot, but.. if this was going to work, she had better learn to act the part.

Oba was no fool laughter could be the moments distraction
he needed. It was clear she wasn't just going to let him walk
off not without something in return at least.
He over thought the moment and it was lost he cursed himself
and glared at the mare.

"I'm losing me patience, tell me what you want? You must want
something if you are keeping me here. There must be more of a
reason then wanting to know the inner thoughts of a useless strange stallion.
If you are a hunter do not play with your prey. If you are a master
do not tell riddles to your dim witted slave. If you are a
fighter do not wait for your enemy to make the first move."
Oba snapped at the mare at this point he felt the other options
were useless. All that was left in his mind was to survive.

Domnu watched him, and clenched her jaw. Other than that the mare remained stock still. She was still young and had much to learn, but the words from the stallions mouth where bringing her to her snapping point. Her tail lashed softly in the ground, the soft rustle and the stillness of her quiet breathing where the only noises in the night.

She was so close to him that she could see his dark fur move with every breath she took. She watched him, her eyes staring into his own, Still as a preditor stalking its prey.

She let the moment laps, the stillness extend. Finally with an explosive moment she ducked her head and angled it towards him, moving to head butt him. Yet, her sharp horn was angled towards his left eye. With the speed and force of her thrust if he was caught unaware she could very well blind him.

Oba gritted his teeth as the mare became silent.
He began to twitch slightly as he waited for something to happen.
He felt her breath upon him and Oba let out a low growl.
What was with this mare? What did she want?
Even her smell started to bothered him he was about to go insane.

Suddenly he saw her move jumping back he almost evaded her
completely, but he wasn't quite fast enough. Her sharp horn grazed his eye lid slitting it slightly.
Blood stung his eye so he tried to close it tight as he let out
a roar of frustration and pain. His head fell after her head passed.
He kicked himself forwards hoping to ram his hard head into her chest.
He was no polished fighter and normally brawled with all he had.
Oba thought as he moved, where could he run? Where could this thing not
follow? Was there a place it wouldn't go?

Domnu let out a laugh, a different laugh then the pittful one she had forced before. This laugh was full of menevolence and a dark sence of glee. She was playing a game even now, but this was a game she liked much better.

At the sight of his crimson blood dripping down his ebony coat, she smiled. "I claim first blood." she said, smirking all the while. The mare made no move to step out of the way as he lowered his head towards her. His strike was true and though it pushed the air from her lungs the mare stood still. "You'll have to do better than that." She sneered at him, crimson eyes gleeming in the silver light of the moon.

"You should have just answered my questions stallion, It would have been so much easier on you. I'm glad you didnt, putting you into submission will be so much sweeter this way." She sucked in a breath, ignoring the sharp pain in her lungs.

Oba did not reply his words with her were finished.
He used his long hair to his advantage and jerked his neck swiftly
to the left which made his hair move to the right in a black blur.
He hoped this would trick her into thinking he was
going to the right long enough for him to try and run
around her on the left.
If he made it around he would attempt to ram the side of
his head against her stomach. He wasn't worried about
drawing blood he wished to knock her off balance long enough
for him to try and escape.

Domnu hissed at him, an inward sucking of breath that rattled in her chest. She was unfooled by his pittiful attempt to dupe her. She too remained silent, the time for words was done.

The mare leaped back and flared out her wings. Her sharp hooves pawing at the air, the silver moonlight glinting off of her crimson fur. Her nostrils flared as she watched him. She could smell his sweat, his anger hung heavily in the air. Such a sweet smell, mixing with the crimson blood that was quickly matting into his ebony coat. Yes, she had marked him. He would always remember this night, so long as he lived.

But how long would she allow that? She smiled as her hooves touched the ground again, she hadnt decided if she would try to kill him, or just play with him a little and let him run back to the others screaming like a pittiful foal.

Oba saw the mare jump back and a sudden burst of energy burst through his body. He shot off in the direction he had originally been headed.
He didn't think himself a coward there was no such thing in his opinion.
There was the strong that survived and the weak that managed.
There was the stupid that fought with and about everything and
there was the smart that stood to the challenges needed and ran
if they needed too. He knew the way by now so he let his hooves
do the work. Oba turned his head he wouldn't let her sneak up behind him.

The mare didnt gave chase, she only laughed at his flight. She would let him spread the stories. Hopefully it would reskindle some of the tales of her kin. Many of them had grown soft in her eyes, and the fear and loathing of the other races was slowly ebbing away.

The mare smirked to herself and walked into the shadows from wence she had come.

Domnu meets the Red Pryamid 4/20

A snort of indignace broke the still silence of the night. The wind seemed to hold its breath in quiet antipation of another sound from the ruby beast whos crimson pelt gleamed like an errie star. Slowly the wind seemed to grow more confidant of itself and began to stir again causing a light rustle in the reeds around the clear lake.

Or at lest thats what she let herself believe, after all the wind was right to pause at her movements, her meer thought. Ah that was another story though, she was not yet worthy of that honor. Kalona she had learned, where not as their namesake anymore, and she was going to change that. To many had become soft, her nose curled at the very thought of some of her kin.

No Kin to her...

She watched the stars dance on the liquid crystal pool, her spaded tail slowly coiling around her cloven hooves. Hooves edged in shadow compaired to the distraught glimmer of the crimson. Her muzzle slowly pressed against the crystal, and for but a moment it seemed a tangable force. All to quickly she broke through the still serenty and drank deeply from the crisp water. A smile curling at the edge of her lips as she was lost in her own thoughts.

The Red Pyramid arrived in the clearing slowly, steadily, his head and helmet bowed together, the front-most corner barely grazing the grass. He felt the wind blow around him, bluster and shiver, its siren call screaming at his instincts, his wings.

But he was bound. To the ground, to the land, by his duty. His wings stretched and curled around him, the black and gold and fire feathers shifting harshly against themselves.

He smelt another presence, one dark and spicy and poisonous. Kalona, he gandered. Too light to be skinwalker and too dark to be anything else. He dunked his head into the water, the metal tip submerging as he drank.

The Red Pyramid would be patient. He was good at that, if anything at all.

Shariea
A sudden splash made the velvey ruby ears flick to the side. The Kalona mare raised her head her red eyes alert and peering into the darkness. It wasnt hard to see the new arrival, the silver glow of the moonlight danced off the pale whites and creams of his fur. Yet she smelled him before she spotted him, his oder on the wind was most... enticing.

The smell of rot and clotted blood.

She tilted her head to the side ever so lightly, her curiosity was peaked. Here was a lesser, a wind... yet.. so covered with gore was he that his fur was matted. While he apprased him she slowly approched, careful to keep her footfalls silent as the whisper of the wind. "Hail Stranger...." she said finally, her voice was brisk, cold and uninviting. Yet this was the most... pleasnt greeting she had offered to one other than her own kind.

He, was so strange to her... she had to know more. Solving the riddle of the naturally good wind stallion... So strong, so...beautiful... She wouldnt deny it, she found his very sight, wounded and covered in gore as he was, beautiful. He was the pinnical of her desire, not lust, desire. For all that was considered evil and tabboo.

If she could solve his riddle, why he was so.. beautifully red... then maybe she could figure out why those of her kin where so...distastefully good.

[ astra ]
He heard her before she moved. The wind swirling around them and the water lapping against cold stone, under that he heard her breathing, her heartbeat and his own reverberating inside his helmet. Her voice was cool, ice and brittleness and sharp like a blade, his blade.

"Hail, stranger" she had said to him, but he gave no answer in return. The water quenched his thirst, frigid liquid easing the pain of a parched throat. He lifted his head and turned it to face her, his strong neck arching as he turned the sloped helmet to face her, quiet.

This was a strange one, similar and yet different to the one who called herself Desdemona, and the same in comparison between both of them and himself. He stood without moving, almost without breathing, before speaking. Pyramid Head's voice was low and scratchy, rusty and broken.

"Hello, fellow one," he rasped, voice balancing in the air, thrumming. "And who might you be?" he asks, helmet tilting ever so slightly. His wings flicked again, tail flipping ever so slightly.

Patience. She would ask what would be needed to be asked. What was it? He was unsure. But he would know it, feel it, breathe it. She was like him. Similarity in duos, two kinds and two minds and two separate cultures. The Red Pyramid felt she would understand him, on some level.

Shariea
The wind seemed to rasp as it was pulled inside the strange device atop the stallions head, the sound reminding her of rust. Durty and unclean... how was it this beast could make even the air around him seem unpure?

She tilted her head again to the side, her gentle locks swaying against her neck as she watched him. He was quiet, calculated.. Mecanical. Lived for one thing and that think only, devoted to one purpose. A purpose that had eclipsed this soul and drawn him in, a purpose.. that had perhaps over taken him.

Crimson eyes watched, waited silently until his voice clear as mud and smooth as gravel rang out into the night from behind the sloped pyramid. "Fellow one" he had said, these words made her lips flick upwards into a smile for the span of a second before her face moved back to being as emotionless as stone.

"Domnu." she said matter of factly, after a lengthy pause. She drank in his voice, his aura.. his meaning. "And you?" the mare finally asked with a slowly arching brow.

Cold, calculating... hunter.

[ astra ]
Pyramid Head listened. It was all he could do, listen and gleam snippets of information about his company. She was a thinker, this one. Cruel to be sure, and focused. He felt her eyes on him, and he strode forward-- closer, closer.

He had a purpose. He was not free, not unbound, not with anything left to him but his burden and his ideals. His kind called them twisted but he thought them just, intentional, steady. There was no escaping his fate, so instead of lamenting he took it graciously. Freely. The only thing he could choose to do freely, the only thing that he could do to feel free.

He ended. He wrapped up loose ends, lost ties, forgotten memories that had to be tucked away. He took life and never gave it. Purpose made him, bound him, pushed and pulled him. It drove him and he had no doubt that it would end him.

He felt her smirk rather than seeing it, and a chilly amusement crept into his own voice-- "I am The Red Pyramid," he said simply. "No one of any great importance."

The large, bright red one was his Papa. That much he knew for certain. The black, smaller one was his Mama. That too was certain. With Papa and Mama in the world, all was well, and he was free to develop into the Kalona he would one day become. Safety, security and fierce love enveloped him from all sides. He followed the one he knew to be 'Papa', sheltering in his shadow, and learning what he could from the example of a stallion who held himself with such dignity and pride. A stallion who had somehow managed to make 'Mama' respect him. That was an accomplishment. Maybe? He was not certain. He had followed, and followed the big red one, until finally another flash of color caught his eye. Another red one. This one, though he did not know it, was his sister. Curiously, the bright eyed foal pranced forward, his movement hindered by his too long limbs and his hooves which were too large for his small frame. He was not graceful yet. Nothing near it. But he would learn.

Shariea
The mare stared heavily at him, her red orbs unblinking in the cold moonlight that lit the area around the lake shore. She imagined what he might look like under that device and what purpose it may hold.

The air seemed to become stale, raicid odors filled her nose as he took a step towards her. The mare remained, unwavering. His smell was peditory bliss. Her eye lids closed for but a moment as she savored the flavor of his scent. More the mask of his scent, for it was northing but dirt, grime, rust.. bloody.. Metalic.

Purpose.. that was what drove everyone right? Then what drove him, why was the purpose so great in this one. "Pleasure to meet you, I'm sure... no one special or not." She said at last, cold laugher surpressed behind her sharp tongue.

Her gaze narrowed as she turned with a set jaw and an expression of agitation. A young colt as wandered into the area, his clumsy footsteps upon the grass seemed as if the heavy foot falls of a stomping stallion, he displayed no tact. Her crimson gaze narrowed still, into that of small slits as she watched the dark one approch. Just who was this who dared disterb her?

[ astra ]
The Pyramid Head let his eyes slide closed under the helm, hearing the laughter in her voice. "I'm sure," he replied simply, a dark amusement lingering between each letter of his words.

He knew what drove him-- but what drove her? Even a natural species as Kalona, they must have had some form of self justification, some form of proof to themselves, delusional or no. It didn't matter, really. As long as they felt they knew, then what was the matter?

Conviction was key.

And conviction is what the tiny figure who had come upon the duo lacked. A kalona, yet it smelled of innocence, of curiosity and only a hint of harshness.

A foal, was it? From the waves coming off of Domnu, he knew they were related-- but how? Surely not her own child, was it?

Miss Cherie

Snorting, Bane pulled up short, rearing a little. She... she was not Papa! The little foal lashed his tail indignantly, quite disappointed to find that the red shape he'd followed was not his illustrious father. There was another red shape, but it had a funny face, and it was not a Kalona. That meant that it definitely was not his Papa. Finally, standing somewhat apart from the two, Bane took stock of the situation. Not Papa... but had the scent of 'family'. That was good! Yes. He could go to a family one. The other did not possess that scent. Curiosity once more aflame, the colt circled up to the mare. "You are not Papa," he stated, without a trace of fear in his tone. She couldn't be Papa, and she couldn't be Mama. What did that mean? Were there others in his family? He thought maybe there might be, but he couldn't be sure.

Shariea
The mare sniffed the wind as it shifted baring with it the sweet scent of baby fur, clean and pure. It was spicy with the scent of two familure with her, Her mother and father. As he approched the hald heart that was brazed on his chest spoke of it all. Had she really been away that long?

Inwardly she sighed and closed her eyes, head hanging softly she was sorry she'd missed the chance at seeing him when he was the in basket.. She always woundered if others where like her when she had first come out... She shooed her mind away from childish thoughts and turned to the more serious matter at hand. The red Pyramid.

She wasnt ready to depart from his company, for she had learned much from him but little in words... how much more could be learned with but a few more sylables exchanged? She was facinated by him, his purpose, his drive.

A sigh escaped her finally as she dropped her head to look down at the ebony colt. "No.. .I'm not pappa, If that mark from Mother means anything, it means you're my brother." she said with a gesture towards his chest and the half heart there.

Turning her gaze back to the Pyramid she inclined her head. "Another time then, Red Pyramid." She inclined her head in a small nod, a sign of respect she would scaresly give others, much less a wind stallion.

Her gaze once again on her younger sibling she tilted her head, had she been this... innocent once? this lacking in direction, this whimsical and free? Was that nessicarily bad? No.. but such things where for children.
