Fixed it! There was a typing error whilst setting a mode. The issue has been resolved.

This was my fault, guys. Sorry! I tried to +h people whilst on my phone, got the syntax wrong and managed to set the channel to +i amongst other modes.

I'll abstain from trying to +h people on my phone from now on. D:

Is okay, I've done things like that before, but on my computer, so it was easy for me to just reverse it.
It looks like what happened was that the mode was set to R (only people whose names were registered with nickserv could come in), i (invite-only) and c (no coloured text allowed).

The /hop command ought to work, Bass, and would prevent future accidental mode changes.

Am I the only one having trouble connecting to serenia? I thought it was just my ******** up connection or even pidgin but even mibbit won't connect but I can connect to other servers just fine.

I would agree but I still can't get in. I'm using the chat.serenia.net so shouldn't it let me in using one of the other servers?

It should, but sometimes it's a jerk like that. You could try aiming for a specific server and see if that works, like ocean.serenia.net
