Once they got to the restaurant, they were seated fairly quickly. Amaya sighed happily, taking her seat across from Adrian as she smiled. "So now we can celebrate what will hopefully be your future record deal." She told him, still smiling as she took a sip of her water.

"Yeah...about that..." Amaya muttered, now very nervous as she played with the bracelet on her wrist, shadows around the restaurant pulsating in response to her worrying, though Amaya was unaware of it.

"Nothing's wrong..." Amaya said softly, trying to keep Adrian from worrying, though it truth she was terrified. It wasn't like the last time she found out was great. Sure it ended up great after all these years but back then when it all happened, it was just another horrific thing that happened to her. Looking to Adrian now, she was scared. What if this wasn't what he wanted? Sure at this point he'd had practice but still. Taking a deep breath, Amaya finally forced herself to look Adrian in the eye. "There's really no easy way in saying this, so I'm just going to say it and hope you don't run screaming..." She muttered, taking another deep breath before she continued. "Adrian...I'm pregnant..."

Adrian's jaw dropped. "Really??" His mouth moved, attempting to form proper words, but he was kind of failing, not that his voice was working anyway. "...Wow...!" It was a start, for now, as he leaned back in his chair to take it all in, a smile starting to spread on his face. "That's...great! I mean, assuming you want to have another kid of course, not that I'm trying to turn you off the idea or anything..." Of course he was quick to grow flustered, not really knowing how Amaya felt about this either.

She breathed out a sigh of relief to see Adrian at least didn't run away. Still she wasn't sure how she felt. She loved Adrian dearly and she loved being a mom, she wasn't sure if this was something Adrian and Calista could handle. "I mean...I think I do...I'm just trying to think past what happened the last time. It's not like it's Calista's fault that's the way things happened and I can't imagine life without her now. I love her with all my heart...but...is this something you want? I don't want you to feel like you're trapped permanently or something..." She murmured, the shadows shuddering as she tried to calm down.

I could never feel trapped with you." Adrian assured her as he reached for her hand once more as his smile softened. "I may be here now, and Calista may be calling me daddy now, but to be honest, I didn't quite feel like part of the family yet." he admitted. "But having a kid with you...I'd love to. I just didn't think it'd happen so soon." he said with a small chuckle.

A smile came to Amaya's face as she held his hand softly. "Well, at least now we really will be a family..." She joked a little, squeezing his hand a bit. "Honestly though...you have no idea how relieved I am to hear you say that..." She muttered, resting a hand on her chest as she sighed once more. "I was afraid you would freak out."

"I honestly don't think there's much that could freak me out at this point." Adrian said with a chuckle. "And who knows? Maybe having a younger sibling will give Calista an actual playmate besides Hazama and Ken and anyone else she imagines up."

The waiter came with champagne, which of course Amaya passed up, though she smiled to Adrian, holding up her water glass instead. "Here's to what will hopefully be your future record deal, and our future family." She said with a smile.

She smiled and sipped her water once they toasted, just looking at him for a few moments. She never thought this was where her life would end up, eating dinner at a fancy restaurant with her boyfriend of four years and now with another kid on the way, she certainly didn't think it would end anything like this when she was caught and forced to fight for her life. Chuckling a little, Amaya set her water down and looked to the waiter, who walked up to take their order. She ordered something fairly simple, though still more of an 'adult' meal in Adrian's eyes, the woman sitting back in her chair now, still reflecting on how much some things had changed.

"So what do you think? Wings and horns or some other out-of-nowhere mutation like Calista?" Adrian said with a little smile once the waiter took their orders and left. He just got the news and was already excited, wondering what their child would be like.
