Another update on how the picture's coming along.
Because I can.
It's not going to be this small when it's finished, this is just a little thumbnail preview to give you guys and idea how far I've gotten. After I finished the face, which was the hardest part so far, I got a lot of the easier stuff done. I'm having some problesm with the colors for the tentacles, though- they look a bit too pink. But I can fix that later.
And the floating blobs of pinkish color aren't going to be there in the final picture. They're just there for the sake of having the colors easily at hand.
And yes it's still too dark, making the skin-tone look hella different than it does on my computer and making his paw nearly invisible, but it only looks that way because of tinypic. I'll take care of that and the other problems I'm having later when I post the completed image.
And guys.... should I leave the neck-thing he's wearing white, or color it? ...Does it matter? Which color?

Anyway I'll probably end up with some sort of weird beigy color that resembles the color I used in his ears (that you probably can't see, by the way...)

This will be finished soon, most likely. That sounds like a much better idea then mine, forgive the non-artistic one. I can't wait to see the finished product ^_^

Yay Muffin! ^.^ I say the colar thing should be like... gold or something... no, maybe silver... in the completely uncolored one I immagined it as a goldy type color like those little statues of Bastet or whatever, you know, the Egyptian gold jewelry type thing... but silver might work too... I don't know... I like silver too much! >.<

You didn't need to bump, undakai, it's alright. I think a lot of ATGers are mad that this thread exists anyway. The way I see it, why fan the flames?
This post is to let you guys know that, for me, school and volleyball is in full swing. Meaning I haven't been here often as of late and probably will not in the future, atleast for a while, so me being leader for this little pass-time project of ours might not be such a good idea anymore.
Then again I expect the activity here to slow down drastically, as now all the organization has been made and all we'll be using this for is posting up finished works of script, art, links, ect. This will be good news to those of you who are sick of this thread 'hogging attention'
Last of all, no, the picture is not colored, but it's getting very close. I better finish it this week-end, or I'll never have time to do it.

Well, I suppose I can fill in as coordinator and final-word while Komo is on-an-off. I'll try to be more objective with thigs to to simulate the Komodo experience.

I finished the arts. I honestly like how it turned out. Except for maybe the paw. The background is black just incase you guys wanted to use it on the site.
I can also get started on the page layouts we've decided are passable. I think you guys wanted to do some editing to page one? Anyway if it's alright with you guys I'd like to start working on rough drafts page two through six.

That looks great, K0m0d0! I'll try to jiffy it up onto the site design as soon as I can. 3nodding
And if you wouldn't mind, I'd like to take a minute and redo the page layouts. Nothing major, since people seem to think the progression of panels are fine, but maybe make it more congruent, and contract it to five pages rather than six. If I don't get an answer within the next day or so, I'll probably have made them anyway; no skin off my nose if you don't like 'em. 3nodding
