Yesterday Mom and I put up the Christmas decorations around the house. I decorated the tree all by myself, like I've done the past few years. It's exciting to see the holiday season drawing nearer. There's already presents under the tree that Dad wrapped yesterday... and I know Mom has one that she'll be adding to the bunch. I haven't even started my Christmas shopping yet. I don't really know what to get anyone... *sighs*

Ever since I first saw watched the music video, I've been listening to "Scream and Shout" by will.i.am (feat. Britney Spears) over and over again. While the music video is a bit odd, the song itself is quite enjoyable.
I can actually see the Glee cast singing this song. I keep imagining Sue (Jane Lynch) singing the British portions of Britney Spears' parts. Not sure who would do will.i.am's parts or Britney's normal voice parts. It would be pretty cool if Glee did end up having Jane Lynch sing a song with the cast again. I don't remember the last time she sang. Maybe it was part of something during Coach Beast's storyline surrounding her husband's physical abuse towards her.

My life according to Murray Gold (Doctor Who & Torchwood OST)
Using only song names from ONE ARTIST, cleverly (!) answer these questions. Try not to repeat a song title. It’s a lot harder than you think!
Pick your artist I am going with Murray Gold, specifically his work on the soundtracks of Doctor Who and Torchwood
Describe yourself: "A Noble Girl About Town" (DW, Season 4)
How do you feel?: "Emotions Get the Better of Him Her" (DW, Season 5)
Describe where you currently live: "Down To Earth" (DW, Season 5)
If you could go anywhere, where would you go?: "Every Star Every Planet"
Your favourite form of transportation: "My TARDIS" (DW, Season 6)
Your best friend: "Pearl and The Ghostmaker" (TW, OST 1)
You and your best friend are: "Friends and Neighbours" (DW, Season 5)
What’s the weather like?: "A River Of Tears" (DW, Season 5)
Favourite time of day: "The Sun's Gone Wibbly" (DW, Season 5)
If your life was a TV show, what would it be called?: "I See You Silence" (DW, Season 6)
What is life to you?: "The End Is Where We Start From" (TW, OST 1)
Your relationship: "Everything Changes" (TW, OST 2)
Your fear: "The Course of my Life" (DW, A Christmas Carol)
What is the best advice you have to give?: "Everything Has to End Some Time" (DW, A Christmas Carol)
Thought for the day: "What's Occurring?" (TW, OST 2)
How would you like to die?: "The Dream of a Normal Death" (DW, Season 3)
My soul’s present condition: "Tell Me Who You Are" (DW, Season 6)
My motto: "Loving Isn't Knowing (The Almost People Suite)" (DW, Season 6)

This evening I'll be joining Alex and three of this friends to go to some restaurant. I've never heard of it before but Alex says that his friend has been there before and says the food is pretty good. *shrugs* Should be interesting...

I don't think I informed you folks about it but during the end of my last volunteer shift at the humane shelter I work at, one of the felines I started to socialize with decided to go into a biting frenzy. He bit up and down my right arm and a little bit on my right hand when I detached him from my watch (his claw got stuck on it momentarily). Although the occasion looked quite frightening while it was happening, my wounds are fairly tame and are healing nicely. I had to fill out paperwork reporting the incident... so now the cat has a bite incident report in its folder. *sighs* I have no idea why the cat decided to start biting. I hadn't even done anything and he didn't show any signs at the time that he was upset or anything. *shrugs* Hard to say...

Definitely glad I stayed calm and collected during the incident... otherwise my wounds may have been a bit worse. Though the shock did momentarily catch up with me while I waited a bit in the office after filling out the paperwork.
