I had my boyfriend up yesterday to hang out, since we haven't done anything together since he took me out for an early Valentine's dinner. That was because there was wedding events I went to and we were both sick.
Anyway, originally I had planned on us going for a walk on one of the local trails. However, the weather decided to be pouring rain and cancelled those plans. Talk about a rain check. *laughs* So, instead, he just came up to my place and we played some games, watched an episode of Supernatural, and I took up out for dinner to my town's local burger joint. I showed him all but one of the schools I went to and where my school bus route was, before coming back home and watched two movies with my parents. Overall, it was quite an enjoyable evening.

We played a couple of games of Checkers. I thought I did pretty well... until I played with my boyfriend. Bloody hell! I don't even have a chance with him. Each time I thought I had him trapped in various directions but then he come up with some ninja move and I'm dead within minutes. Not very fun to play when you realize within a few moves that you don't have a chance.
Thankfully my mood improved from being defeated so badly at Checkers when we played a game of Scrabble. While he did win the game, I wasn't too far behind him point wise.
