Yes! Alice had found the snitch and was off to the races. She needed to check up to Layton. He was already getting close to the snitch. Pushing forward Alice felt confident that her house would be good long after she was gone. They'd probably be even better, granted she didn't want to think like that.

Emma missed by a long shot. She needed to be better if she wanted to get on the team. Although she hadn't really played a game of Quidditch before she needed to prove she could do something... anything. At least she wasn't taking any bludger hits yet. Going after Iris again she tried for a steal.

Finally showing her stuff Emma grabbed the quaffle from Iris and raced to the Black teams goal. She wanted to be able to get there and maybe even take a shot. Although knowing she would be that luck she passed the ball off to Rider hoping that maybe she'd have better luck holding onto it.
Layton flew closer and closer until he felt he could reach an arm out, attempting to grab it.

Pushing as fast as she could Alice wanted to get to the snitch before it was to late. Watching Layton miss she took a breath and pushed on. She had her eyes locked on that snitch and she wasn't going to give up yet.

Rider caught the quaffle when Emma tossed it to her after a great steal. Rider could score if she wanted to, but she already had a spot on the team. She wasn't the one trying out now. The girl tossed the ball back to Emma. "Emma! Take the shot! I have faith in you!" Rider smiled at the girl and nodded towards Lionel.

After passing the ball to Rider Emma followed along. She needed to be there in case the quaffle was taken again. When they got closer to the goals, Rider tossed the ball back to her. Being told to take the shot, Emma smiled. "Right." she said brightly before getting close and giving the ball a toss towards the goal. Hopefully she'd be able to make the shot against Lionel.

Hannah watched as Emma managed to get the Quaffle from Iris, and after a bit take a shot at the goals. Not sure she could do much else, Hannah flew toward her side of the pitch and positioned herself to possibly take Quaffle from Lionel after the scoring attempt.

The keeper watched intently on the game, that is, until his team called on his number to get another save. Looking at the girl Emma, he tried to read the shot coming off of her hands. When she shot, he jumped the path in attempts to cut off the angle and promptly save the shot.
He judged the shot to absolute perfection and caught the ball before it was in a threatening position and just inside his zone. He took the ball and threw it to Siobahn again because she was in the most ready position.

Seeing her complete and utter fail, Emma mentally beat herself. How could she screw that up so badly. Watching Lionel toss the quaffle to Hannah she needed to get it back. There was only one thing that would make her feel better and that was for her to try again. Of course she needed the ball back first.

Aiming carefully, Iris zipped quickly past Emma, crowding the girl without actually coming close to an actual collision in an attempt to drive the girl away from Hannah. Afterwards, Iris kept her eyes peeled and did her best to stay within easy passing distance of Hannah.
