Hey all! well I'm a cheerleader and yes that is a sport. Don't try to argue me on my own thread. So yeah cheer is like my life, and yes i do say like all the time, but I am not a valley girl and I like to diss high school cheerleaders, because no one else has ever done clean as hands on hips, smiles on lips...

good luck with our schools team. My high schools team sucks monkey parts.
Ex-cheerleader. Didn't make the team for this year, and despite cheering for 8 years I was never really good at it. Why? Can't tumble, weakling, and ADD. It was fun while it lasted, but now I've put that behind me to find my other strengths. 3nodding
It's kinda sad how the media continues to portray cheerleaders (with the exception of Bring it On) as desperate, insecure sluts... then young ones get the wrong idea and have no other way to picture cheerleaders out of ignorance, or get the wrong idea that they must act like the stereotypical cheerleader to make the team. Then this whole label-to-stereotype cycle goes on and on... makes my head hurt.... gonk
Overall, I still and always will respect cheerleading as a competitive sport. biggrin
