Finally! Some spare time! mrgreen
I wrote this when I had some spare time in english class. It doesn't really have a name... Oh well.
The raven calls as the shadows claim the land. I sit in the darkness. Waiting. Tears pool at my feet and my heart aches. I hug my knees. Waiting. I gaze at the landscape to find some hope, but it is bare. Waiting. I let out a sob and let my head drop. Alone in Shadow's jaw. Waiting. Suddenly the darkness flees as Light shows its face. It brushes a tear from my cheek. I wait no more.
There ya go! 3nodding

Forgotten Stories Look at me. What do you see? At first glance, what am I? An intellectual? A free spirit? One whose soul cannot be harmed? Take a closer look. Do you see the pain that grips my poor heart? Do you see the scars that others wrathfully made? Do you see the pain of rejection that still chokes my being? It just goes to show the old saying is true. "You can't judge a book by it's cover." You must page through the book to find its true meaning, but if the book is mishandled, rejected, abused, the pages are torn and ripped from its heart. One can read it no more, so it's set alone on a shelf. Never to be accepted again.

Balance
If you are the sun, I am the moon, as we dance across the clear skies.
If you are the sky, I am the earth, forever held together at the horizon.
If you are the sand, I am the waves, together creating rhythm and rest.
If you are the raindrops, I am the sunlight, creating new life on earth.
And if you fear rejection, I bear acceptance, and with love, I will give it to you.

My Brag Poem
or...
Enchanting Hands
My writings know no bounds. Pencils bow to my hand, Hoping they will be chosen. As the pencil loops, It marks its trail. Enchanted words are formed. Together they form stories and poems That would melt even the stoniest heart, Or maybe form tales of dangers and trials. I'll write out any person Who dares challenge my works. The magic of my mind will turn their souls into that of an old book, left on a high shelf And soon forgotten

Youth
The days of youth, simple, exciting, taken for granted. We as children don't value our childhood and we realize too late its true worth. As I enter the dark world that is adulthood, my youth lapses from my mind and turns into ash. Oh, what I would give to keep the flame of youth alive, strong, free, but the embers must fade, for it's an uncontrollable destiny that no mortal can escape. I now treasure my youth and add kindling to the flame, but is it too late?

Peace of Mind
The leaves gently sway in the gentle morning breeze. The seagulls give their cries acove the crested seas. The crabs scuttle 'cross the sand into their tidal nest. I sit quietly among them, my mind is safe at rest. The sun makes its ascention across the clear, blue sky. I give a glance at my watch. Oh, how the time goes by! Back to my little shanty I slowly make my way, and as I venture closer sound breaks the silent day. The children all rush forward, their eyes were filled with glee. Though they stumbled, in the end the came to embrace me. Even though there's peace of mind when one sits alone, it pales to the wonderful thought of love and care at home.
