Yeah, you said that right. But I'd recommend you stop typing in phonetic and type in the cyrillic alphabet. If you don't have the Russian font available to use, follow these steps: 1. Go to your computer's Control Panel. 2. Choose the icon; Date, Time, Language and Regional Options. 3. Select the option; Add Other Languages. 4. When you do this, a box pops up, and it says you are on the Languages tab. The tab has two sections; top and bottom. Read what the top portion says, and click Details. 5. When you click Details, it pulls up another box. This box prompts for input and installed languages. Ignore the input, and click the Add button. This pops up another box that asks for input and keyboard layout. Ignore the keyboard layout. Click the input list, and find Russian. Add it to your computer, and now, you will be able to type in cyrillic Russian!
Phonetic is hard to read, and you can't get spelling practice with it. So I'd suggest doing the above. (Unless you have a Mac. The above steps are for a Windows computer. )
