Dreads? How do you wash them? Wouldn't they start to smell bad? Could you undo them? Would you just hafta cut the whole things off eventually?

My roommate's dreads didn't smell. ^^ He had 'em for years.

There's special shampoos that you get that don't leave any residue in your hair, and you have to be careful try let them dry really well. Otherwise....ewww, mildew. gonk

But yeah, you have to cut them off. =x

In my opinion, dreads are amazing and they are not only for hippies and blacks. stare
Everyone's a little bit racist... (Don't blame me, blame Avenue Q...)
I have a friend that used to have dreads and they looked pretty amazing, bad part was, he didn't take care of them well enough.
Long dreads, short dreads, thick dreads, thin dreads, they're all good!
It just matters of how well you keep your dreads well-maintained.

But if you want to practice to see how they would look, try dread falls. wink
