No but it can be something other than a coin. For instance, if you have one of those cards that change picture if you rotate it up or down it works just like the coin.

Like "holographic" trading cards right?

I believe Descartes had the same problem you are having. His Evil deciever Theory. That someone out there is decieving him from all truths. He later decides that God is keeping the Evil Deciever and through some long thought process decides that God is also not a Deviever. Somewhere along the line he talks about the colors... or maybe we just discussed it.

I can't really remember the rest.... It's been awhile since Philosophy class....

Truth is. You'll never know for sure. Because the words to colors are just that. Words that people came up with to describe what they see. For all we know Green really is blue and vis versa and we would never know cause they've been they way they've been since the word was decided!

Oh, I've totally obsessed over stuff like that before. It kills me. But I think I've just kinda given up on thinking about that sorta thing.
