----------------

A pleased sigh escaped Lan's throat as he tripped down the short hill and onto the grassy clearing in the forest. The day had been going by quite slowly, and the two bored boys had decided that it would be nice to get out. Actually, it really had just been Lan, who was tired of hearing Krinn complain about how hot it was. He understood some of the boys irritability. After all, the last rainy day had been a over a week - perhaps two? - ago, and Lan knew the difficulty involving being in the middle of a heat stroke for awhile - especially if you were made of an essence of rain. The young adult had been giving Krinn cold bathes every day, trying to make the dust child a bit more comfortable and had felt really bad a few days ago when it had gotten to the point where he had just forced the poor kid to stay in bed all day. Its like a bad fever because of the weather. Lan had thought, rolling his eyes. They had been lounging for a week, and Krinn had been getting easily fed up with the way Lan had been moping around the house to the point that he had screamed at him one day. It was actually quite humorous afterwards, but the two had found that by just being miserable they were getting nowhere.

The young adult sighed as he traipsed even further down into the grass, his eyes decorated with emotions as he mulled over the past weeks events. He had been working less at the cafe and more recovering from the letter he had received from an old friend, and in between that, he had even come to the cafe to help paint and then had suddenly decided to take the day off with Younka and hang around up at the stables cleaning tack. Krinn had been lazing about as well, because the weather had truly taken a toll on his demeanor. At least it seemed like he was getting better because of it. Lan had honestly been starting to worry. The guardian glanced up, catching sight of the other with another muted sigh. What a way to go.

Feeling his bare foot catch on a rock, Lan let out a little squeak and found that he was nearing the ground at a break neck pace. Without thinking, the young adult instinctively put his hands out and caught himself in a crouched over hand stand, legs flailing a bit in the air. Then he pushed himself forward and maneuvered his way down the hill in a series of acrobatic flips and turns. Krinn sat a few meters away in shorts and a tank top, his shoes having been removed so he could stick them into the water of a small stream running through.
"You dont have to show off all the time, you know." Krinn said jokingly, even though he had a slight tinge of red to his cheeks and looked a bit more exhausted then usual. The two of them had stopped half way in their hike to rest, Lan being exhausted and lazy, and Krinn just feeling like he was going to die in the heat. The problem was that it wasn't even that warm out that day. The air was beginning to become pregnant with chill, so it was quite odd that the dust child was still feeling a bit tired out. "Who said I was showing off?" Lan retorted, settling down beside him and leaning against the other for the obnoxious notion of ticking Krinn off.

"Pfft."
Krinn blew a strand of hair from his face and glanced up at the cloudless sky, his eyes searching. "I want it to rain." He said moodily, pouting a bit. Lan looked over, and shook his head, glancing up as well. "Yeah, me too." He said loftily and then looked over with a cheeky grin towards Krinn. "After all, if it would make you stop complaining, I'd do pretty much anything." The dust child looked over in bewilderment and started to stutter suddenly. "I am - You are - that was - rude!" and crossed his arms, turning away with an angry humph. Lan couldn't help but chuckle. Even when the other felt down and out, he still had enough bite left in him to be sarcastic and teasing as usual. Reaching out while the other kid looked away with a pout on his face, Lan whistled before reaching over and pushing the other into the water, resounding in a loud splash and laughing out when Krinn surfaced with a sputter, instantly narrowing his eyes and reaching out, yanking the other in after him. "Jerk!" He cried out and started to splash Lan in retaliation. Lan opted for just laughing at the expression on Krinn's face and getting another mouthful of water.

After all, it wasn't like there were other people about to come and watch their show of childish play, right?

It was an odd feeling, needing to get back to nature. Really odd. It had never been something that Adrien had thought that he would have ever needed or indeed wanted to do.
Yet here he was once more, his hands in his pockets, walking aimlessly through tranquil wilderness surrounding the town.
He did, admittedly, have a little bit of an inkling as to the cause of his sudden wish to be out and about.. And that cause was tucked away safely in his pocket for the time being, resting against his palm and fingers, the ethereal feathers and sparkles it produced gently tickling across his skin, it hardly felt of anything at all, more of a disturbance of the air.
But none the less, the bottle in his pocket, he was sure, was the cause of his walks. Since he had found the small thing in his room, shimmering fantastically and spewing bright wispy feathers at him..
He was going to blame the bottle. It was the only thing that had changed and had caused his behaviour to change in turn.

He didn't mind the walks, in fairness. It was quiet, peaceful and it gave him plenty of time to muse over the conversation he had, had with Dr. Virile a long while ago.. About the changes he was to expect from the little bottle, the things he should look for.
He was starting to get a bit of an idea as to the elements that the bottle seemed to be aligning with, with all these feathers it was producing..

He was torn away from his rambling thoughts at the sound of talking.. Indignant talking then a very indignant noise and a loud splash.. His eyebrows arched, wondering what precisely it was that was going on as he continued along the worn path. Kids playing, he imagined, it wasn't usual for people to come this far out.. But he had seen much stranger things.. Like the thing in his pocket..

He rounded a corner, emerging from the trees as the stream and the shallow pond came in to view.. And his eyebrow arched even more, an amused look on his face at the game that was unfolding in-front of him. Little realising that he must have looked a little foolish himself in his usual attire of all black-with a leather jacket..

The bottle seemed to have realised that there was something different about one of the people as it hummed all the louder, seemingly delighted and pumped out a fair few more feathers than it normally would have, startling Adrien to the side of the path with a bit of a flail as the feathers fluttered around him.

Lan cried out as he was tackled into the stream, his clothing getting soaked as he extracted some more wet hair from his face in time to see Krinn sputter as more water hit him as well. The two of them were childish and they knew it. But it was all for fun and it made the both of them a bit less tightened about everything. So what was the harm in playing like two fools when there was nothing better to do? Taking off the tank top he was wearing, Lan threw it to the shore and jumped up, tripping out of the way of another splash of water and yelping as his foot caught again, sending him into a tumble of flips and turns before finally falling on his butt in the water with an umph.

"Moron."
Krinn laughed out, standing up and brushing off his arm, slick with water now as he glanced down at the other with a sort of grin and extended a hand down to help him up. Instead, Lan just gripped onto the boy and pulled him down, resounding in a splash and an echo of rippling water as the two flopped onto their backs out of breath for a moment, Lan alive with chuckles and Krinn looking a bit more at ease then before. Then, suddenly, a tingling sensation shot through his body, making the dust child blink his eyes open. Sitting up, he glanced around, and looked over as something flickered out of the corner of his eye.

"Person?"
he asked dumbly, looking at the man flailing around at the top of the hill. It seemed like something was sprouting around him, and Krinn narrowed his eyes to figure out what. Of course, Lan sat up as well and looked down at his charge before glancing over at the other man as well and blinking. "Ah yeah, person." He repeated, nodding a bit and then cocking an eyebrow. "Better yet, a hot man." He said teasingly to which Krinn blinked and looked over at Lan, a tinge of red on his cheeks. "Lan!" He scolded, and then just turned and sighed, not knowing why his guardian had to be so open about his sexuality. And about how much of a flirt he could be. "You shouldn't say that....out... loud..." Krinn muttered the rest, embarrassed by his guardians casual words. Lan just chuckled and stood up, looking down as Krinn crossed his arms at the other. "Dont worry." He just said simply and turned, striding out of the water, suddenly brushing a hand over his bare chest, his slim body showing through as that of an acrobats, the skin glistening under the water as he stuck out a bottom lip at the sight of his doused white tank top. Even if he put it on, his skin would still show through the white damp cloth.

So instead, he just idled up to the other, and curiously lifted an eyebrow at the sprouting of feathers, leaning forward with a bit of a curious, teasing smile.
"Good afternoon." he said with his casual sultry tone, eyes dancing mischievously. "I didn't notice you before... Sorry about that, I was a bit..." he sent a glance back at Krinn, his tone teasing. "Caught up." he laughed finally, and stood straighter, hands on his hips, his hair sliding from the spiky ponytail he had it in earlier. "Aren't you hot in that?" He asked casually, gesturing to the jacket the other was wearing before waving it off and grinning a bit. "So, as far as I know..." He started, backing up as Krinn stepped out of the water and ran up, latching onto Lans side. "Humans normally dont produce feathers on their own. Curious, yeah?" While he smiled at the stranger, Lan blinked curiously, and remembered Hymn's words from before. Opening his mouth, he cocked his head to the side subtly.

"Is that a dust?"
